Numerical Simulation of Combustion Characteristics in High Temperature Air Combustion Furnace

The influences of air preheating temperature, oxygen concentration, and fuel inlet temperature on flame properties, and NOx formation and emission in the furnace were studied with numerical simulation. The turbulence behavior was modeled using the standard k-ε model with wall function, and radiation was handled using discrete ordinate radiation model. The PDF （probability density function） /mixture fraction combustion model was used to simulate the propane combustion. Additionally, computations of NOx formation rates and NOx concentration were carried out using a post-processor on the basis of previously calculated velocities, turbulence, temperature, and chemical composition fields. The results showed that high temperature air combustion （HiTAC） is spread over a much larger volume than traditional combustion, flame volume increases with a reduction of oxygen concentration, and this trend is clearer if oxygen concentration in the preheated air is below 10%. The temperature profile becomes more uniform when oxygen concentration in preheated air decreases, especially at low oxygen levels. Increase in fuel inlet tempera- ture lessens the mixing of the fuel and air in primary combustion zone, creates more uniform distribution of reactants inside the flame, decreases the maximum temperature in furnace, and reduces NOx emission greatly.

Poly（phenylene sulfide/ether）（PPSE） was synthesized from 4,4＇-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfide and 4,4＇-dichlorodiphenyl sulfide in solution by nucleophilic substitution reaction. The resulting polymer was characterized by viscosity measurement, elemental analysis, FT-IR, ^1H NMR, X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis. The results showed that the viscosities of the resulting polymer were above 0.68 dL/g, and the linear chain structure of product was confirmed. PPSE had the same reflex indices as poly（p-phenylene sulfide）, an orthorhombic crystalline with unit cell a=0.853, b=0.562, c=1.026nm. The melting temperature, glass transition temperature and initial decomposition temperature were found to be 228℃, 85℃ and 325℃, respectively. The product was soluble in common organic solvents such as NMP, N, N＇-dimethylformamide, N, N＇-dimethylacetamide and 1,2-dichloroethane.

We investigate the J/Ψ? invariant mass distribution in the e^+e^-→γJ/Ψ? reaction at a center-of-mass energy of ■=4.6 GeV measured by the BESⅢ collaboration,which concluded that no significant signals were observed for e^+e^-→γX(4140) because of the low *** show,however,that the J/Ψ? invariant mass distribution is compatible with the existence of the X(4140) state,appearing as a peak,and a strong cusp structure at the D_s~*■threshold,resulting from the molecular nature of the X(4160) state,which provides a substantial contribution to the *** is consistent with our previous analysis of the B^+→J/Ψ?K^+decay measured by the LHCb *** strongly suggest further measurements of this process with more statistics to clarify the nature of the X(4140) and X(4160) resonances.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most prevalent type of chronic liver ***,the disease is underappreciated as a remarkable chronic disorder as there are rare managing *** studies have focused on determining NAFLD-caused hepatocyte death to elucidate the disease pathoe-tiology and suggest functional therapeutic and diagnostic ***,ferroptosis,and necroptosis are the main subtypes of non-apoptotic regulated cell deaths(RCDs),each of which represents particular *** the complexity of the findings,the present study aimed to review these types of RCDs and their contribution to NAFLD progression,and subsequently discuss in detail the role of necroptosis in the pathoetiology,diagnosis,and treatment of the *** study revealed that necroptosis is involved in the occurrence of NAFLD and its progression towards steatohepatitis and cancer,hence it has potential in diagnostic and therapeutic ***,further studies are necessary.

With f1(1285)as a dynamically generated resonance from K∗K interactions,we estimate the rates of the radiative transitions of the f1(1285)meson to the vector mesons ρ^0,ω and ϕ.These radiative decays proceed via the kaon loop *** calculated results are in a fair agreement with experimental *** predictions can be tested experimentally;their analysis will be valuable for decoding the strong coupling of the f1(1285)state to the KK∗ channel.

Objective To observe the angiogenesis effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at Shuigou acupoint(GV 26)in the treatment of cerebral ischemia,and explore the value of miRNA-7(miR-7)in *** First,48 mice were randomly divided into sham operation,middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)model,and EA treatment *** 9 mice were divided into carrier control group,miR-7 knockout group and miR-7 overexpression group(n=3 each group).Finally,20 mice were divided into model and carrier control group,model and miR-7 knockout group,EA treatment and carrier control group and EA treatment and miR-7 overexpression group,with 3–6 mice in each *** MCAO model was established in the MCAO and EA *** deficit score and 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining were used to evaluate the severity of cerebral ***-eosin staining was used to describe basic pathological *** was used to quantify cerebral microvessel ***-time PCR and Western blot were used to detect the expression of miR-7 and its downstream target genes Krüppel-like factor 4/vascular endothelial growth factor(KLF4/VEGF)and angiopoietin-2(ANG-2)in the ischemic cerebral *** After EA,neurological deficit scores and infarction volumes decreased,and the density of cerebral microvessels *** the MCAO group,miR-7 expression was higher than that in the sham group(P<0.01).After EA at GV 26,miR-7 expression decreased(P<0.01)and the expression of downstream target genes KLF4/VEGF and ANG-2 increased as compared with the MCAO group(P<0.01).After EA combined with overexpression of miR-7,the expression of downstream target genes KLF4/VEGF and ANG-2 decreased compared to the control EA group(P<0.01).After miR-7 knockdown,the expression of KLF4/VEGF and ANG-2 increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions EA could promote angiogenesis in MCAO mice likely by inhibiting the expression of miR-7 and relieving inhibition of downstream target genes KLF4/VEG
