The Internet of Things(IoT)technologies has gained significant interest in the design of smart grids(SGs).The increasing amount of distributed generations,maturity of existing grid infrastructures,and demand network transformation have received maximum *** essential energy storing model mostly the electrical energy stored methods are developing as the diagnoses for its procedure was becoming further *** dynamic electrical energy stored model using Electric Vehicles(EVs)is comparatively standard because of its excellent electrical property and flexibility however the chance of damage to its battery was there in event of overcharging or deep discharging and its mass penetration deeply influences the *** paper offers a new Hybridization of Bacterial foraging optimization with Sparse Autoencoder(HBFOA-SAE)model for IoT Enabled energy *** proposed HBFOA-SAE model majorly intends to effectually estimate the state of charge(SOC)values in the IoT based energy *** accomplish this,the SAE technique was executed to proper determination of the SOC values in the energy ***,for improving the performance of the SOC estimation process,the HBFOA is *** addition,the HBFOA technique is derived by the integration of the hill climbing(HC)concepts with the BFOA to improve the overall *** ensuring better outcomes for the HBFOA-SAE model,a comprehensive set of simulations were performed and the outcomes are inspected under several *** experimental results reported the supremacy of the HBFOA-SAE model over the recent state of art approaches.

The formation of a supercell and its impact on lithium-ion conductivity have been studied through synthesis of three layered oxides,Li_(2)Ca_(1.5)Nb_(3)O_(10),Li_(2)Ca_(1.5)TaNb_(2)O_(10)and Li_(2)Ca_(1.5)Ta_(2)NbO_(10),related to Ruddlesden-Popper *** diffraction experiments show that these materials feature a supercell,which is significantly larger(√2a×√2b×1c)than that of a typical RuddlesdenPopper *** impedance spectroscopy shows that the formation of the new supercell is associated with enhanced lithium-ion conductivity of these materials as compared with the Sranalogue,Li_(2)Sr_(1.5)Nb_(3)O_(10),which lacks the *** addition,a systematic trend is observed in the ionic conductivity:Li_(2)Ca_1.5Ta_(2)NbO10

The effect of bacterial challenge on ferritin regulation in the yellow fever mosquito, Aedes aegypti

Secreted ferritin is the major iron storage and transport protein in insects. Here, we characterize the message and protein expression profiles of yellow fever mosquito （Aedes aegypti） ferritin heavy chain homologue （HCH） and light chain homologue （LCH） subunits in response to iron and bacterial challenge. In vivo experiments demonstrated tissue-specific regulation of HCH and LCH expression over time post-blood meal （PBM）. Transcriptional regulation of HCH and LCH was treatment specific, with differences in regulation for na？ve versus mosquitoes challenged with heat-killed bacteria （HKB）. Translational regulation by iron regulatory protein （IRP） binding activity for the iron-responsive element （IRE） was tissue-specific and time-dependent PBM. However, mosquitoes challenged with HKB showed little change in IRP/IRE binding activity compared to na？ve animals. The changes in ferritin regulation and expression in vivo were confirmed with in vitro studies. We challenged mosquitoes with HKB followed by a blood meal to determine the effects on ferritin expression, and demonstrate a synergistic, time-dependent regulation of expression for HCH and LCH.

Biology of tooth replacement in amniotes

Tooth replacement is a common trait to most vertebrates, including mammals. Mammals, however, have lost the capacity for continuous tooth renewal seen in most other vertebrates, and typically have only 1-2 generations of teeth. Here, we review the mechanisms of tooth replacement in reptiles and mammals, and discuss in detail the current and historical theories on control of timing and pattern of tooth replacement and development.

Heterogeneous molecular catalysts for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction

This review provides an overview of the literature regarding heterogeneous molecular catalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction (ECR).Fundamental aspects of the science,including aggregation,electrochemical rate laws,and electrode-catalyst electronic coupling,are discussed to provide a solid foundation on which to design experiments and interpret *** aspects of ECR are presented based on electrokinetic and spectroscopic measurements as well as density functional theory (DFT) *** is improving for electrokinetic measurements,but the redox state of the metal center under reaction conditions and DFT reaction pathways lack agreement in the *** the tunable aspects of the molecular catalyst,the impacts of the metal center,ligand substituents,and electrode support on the activity and selectivity toward ECR are presented with an emphasis on those studies that controlled for aggregation and minimized mass-transport *** three-dimensional (3D) structures such as polymers,metal-organic frameworks (MOFs),and covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) are discussed as highly tunable architectures that begin to mimic the catalytic pockets of enzyme active *** achieve the full potential of these catalysts,design principles must emerge based on a combination of deconvoluting measurements to extract intrinsic catalyst properties and more reliable theoretical calculations to predict reaction pathways.

The ARABIDOPSIS Accession Pna-10ls a Naturally Occurring sngl Deletion Mutant

Sinapoylmalate is the major sinapate ester found in leaves of Arabidopsis thaliana, where it plays an important role in UV-B protection. Metabolic profiling of rosette leaves from 96 Arabidopsis accessions revealed that the Pna-10 accession accumulates sinapoylglucose instead of sinapoylmalate. This unique leaf sinapate ester profile is similar to that of the previously characterized sinapoylglucose accumulator1 （sngl） mutants. SNG1 encodes sinapoylglucose：malate sinapoyltransferase （SMT）, a serine carboxypeptidase-like （SCPL） enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of sinapoylglucose to sinapoylmalate. In the reference Columbia genome, the SNG1 gene is located in a cluster of five SCPL genes on Chro- mosome II. PCR and sequencing analysis of the same genomic region in the Pna-10 accession revealed a 13-kb deletion that eliminates the SNG1 gene （At2g22990） and the gene encoding sinapoylglucose：anthocyanin sinapoyltransferase （SAT）（At2g23000）. In addition to its sinapoylmalate-deficient phenotype, and consistent with the loss of SAT, Pna-10 is unable to accumulate sinapoylated anthocyanins. Interestingly, the Pna-17 accession, collected from the same location as Pna-10, has no such deletion. Further analysis of 135 lines collected from the same location as Pna-10 and Pna-17 revealed that four more lines contain the deletion found in Pna-10 accession, suggesting that either the deletion found in Pna-10 is a recent event that has not yet been eliminated through selection or that sinapoylmalate is dispensable for the growth of Arabidopsis under field conditions.

Influence of birth order, birth weight, colostrum and serum immunoglobulin G on neonatal piglet survival

Background： Intake of colostrum after birth is essential to stimulate intestinal growth and function, and to provide systemic immunological protection via absorption of Immunoglobulin G （IgG）. The birth order and weight of 745 piglets （from 75 litters） were recorded during a one-week period of farrowing. Only pigs weighing greater than 0.68 kg birth weight were chosen for the trial. Sow colostrum was collected during parturition, and piglets were bled between 48 and 72 hours post-birth. Piglet serum IgG and colostral IgG concentrations were determined by radial immunodiffusion. Results： Sow parity had a significant （P 〈 0.001） effect on sow colostral IgG concentration, being 5% higher in multiparous females. Sow colostral IgG concentration explained 6% and piglet birth order accounted for another 4% of the variation observed in piglet serum IgG concentration （P 〈 0.05）; however, birth weight had no detectable effect. Piglet serum IgG concentration had both a linear （P 〈 0.05） and quadratic effect （P 〈 0.05） on % survival. Piglets with 1,000 mg/dl serum IgG or less （n=24） had a 67% survival; whereas, piglets with IgG concentrations between 2250 to 2500 mg/dl （n=247） had a 91% survival. Birth order had no detectable effect on survival, but birth weight had a positive linear effect （P 〈 0.05）. Piglets weighing 0.9 kg （n = 107） at birth had a 68% survival rate, and those weighing 1.6 kg （n = 158） had an 89% survival. Conclusion： We found that the combination of sow colostrum IgG concentration and birth order can account for 10% of the variation of piglet serum IgG concentration and that piglets with less than 1,000 mg/dl IgG serum concentration and weight of 0.9 kg at birth had low survival rate when compared to their larger siblings. The effective management of colostrum uptake in neonatal piglets in the first 24 hrs post-birth may potentially improve survival from birth to weaning.
