The reduction of GHG emissions to reverse the greenhouse effect is one of the ma.n cha.lenges in this *** this pa.er we pursue two ***,we a.a.yze the evolution of GHG emissions in Spa.n in 2008–2018,a. both the globa. a.d sectora. levels,with the va.ia.ion in emissions decomposed into a.set of determining ***,we propose severa. a.tions specifica.ly oriented to more tightly controlling the level of *** results showed a.rema.ka.le reduction(18.44%)in GHG emissions,ma.nly due to the intensity effect,but a.so to the production-per-ca.ita.*** detected somewha. different pa.terns a.ong the va.ious sectors *** the intensity effect wa. the most influentia. one in the a.ricultura.,tra.sport,a.d others sectors,the production-per-ca.ita.effect wa. predomina.t in the ca.e of *** ca.boniza.ion effect wa. revea.ed a. crucia. in the commerce *** a.ove findings highlight the importa.ce of the energy efficiency mea.ures ta.en in recent yea.s in the Spa.ish economy,a.so pointing to the need to deepen those stra.egies a.d to propose new mea.ures tha. enta.l grea.er efficiency in *** efforts in a.ea. like innova.ion,R&D,diffusion of more eco-friendly technologies,a.d a.grea.er use of greener energies a.l prove to be essentia. reduction a.tions to fight the greenhouse effect.

This pa.er shows the effects ca.sed by the combina.ion of two fa.tors: a. a.thropic fa.tor a.d one na.ura.. The lea.ing ca.ses of imba.a.ce in the subsoil due to dra.down of the a.uifer is reflected on the surfa.e with the a.pea.a.ce of cra.ks on ground, then ca.e the la.era. a.d vertica. movements ca.led fa.lting. This geologica. phenomenon is due to a.pa.tern of orienta.ion is a.socia.ed with a.regiona. fa.lt system, la.era. movement is a.most imperceptible but the vertica. displa.ement becomes importa.t beca.se it is the most conspicuous a.d be responsible for the da.a.e ca.sed to the urba. infra.tructure, vertica. fa.lting is rela.ed to the dra.down genera.ed by intense extra.tion of groundwa.er. The dema.d for groundwa.er, increa.ing yea. by yea. in the pa.t four deca.es beca.se of the cha.ge in la.d use, the most significa.t cha.ge wa. the shift from ra.n feed crop to irriga.ed crop a.riculture, this cha.ge in la.d use occurred on Cela.a.s Va.ley between yea. period 1976-2009 wa. qua.tified by use of remote sensing a.d geogra.hic informa.ion systems (GIS).
