The usage of renewable energies,including geotherm.l energy,is expanding rapidly *** low efficiency of geotherm.l cycles has consistently highlighted the im.ortance of recovering heat loss for these *** paper proposes a com.ined power generation cycle(single flash geotherm.l cycle with trans-critical CO_(2) cycle)and sim.lates in the EES(Engineering Equation Solver)*** results show that the design param.ters of the proposed system.are significantly im.roved com.ared to the BASIC single flash ***,the proposed approach is optim.zed using the genetic algorithm.and the Nelder-m.ad Sim.lex *** pressure,steam.turbine output pressure,and CO_(2) turbine inlet pressure are three assum.d variable param.ters,and exergy efficiency is the target *** the default operating m.de,the system.exergy efficiency was 32%,increasing to 39%using the genetic algorithm.and 37%using the Nelder-m.ad m.thod.

The differential expression of two closelyassociated cyclooxygenase isozym.s, COX-1 and COX-2, exhibited functions beyond eicosanoid m.tabolism. We hypothesized that COX-1 or COX-2 knockout lung fibroblasts m.y display altered protein profiles which m.y allow us to further differentiate the functional roles of these isozym.s at the m.lecular level. Proteom.c analysis shows constitutive production of m.crophage m.gration inhibitory factor （m.F） in lung fibroblasts derived from.COX-2 / but not wild-type （WT） or COX-1-/- m.ce. m.F was spontaneously released in high levels into the extracellular m.lieu of COX2 /- fibroblasts seem.ngly from.the pre- form.d intracellular stores, with no change in the basal gene expression of m.F. The secretion and regulation of m.F in COX-2-/- was ＂prostaglandin-independent.＂ GO analysis showed that concurrent with upregulation of m.F, there is a significant surge in expression of genes related to fibroblast growth, FK506 binding proteins, and isom.rase activity in COX-2 ! cells. Furtherm.re, COX-2-/- fibroblasts also exhibit a significant increase in transcriptional activity of various regu- lators, antagonists, and co-m.dulators of p53, as well as in the expression of oncogenes and related transcripts. Integrative Oncogenom.cs Cancer Browser （IntroGen） analysis shows downregulation of COX-2 and am.lification of m.F and/or p53 activity during developm.nt of glioblastom.s, ependym.m., and colon adenom.s. These data indicate the functional role of the m.F-COX- p53 axis in inflam.ation and cancer at the genom.c and proteom.e levels in COX-2-ablated cells. This system.tic analysis not only shows the proinflam.atory state but also unveils a m.lecular signature of a pro-oncogenic state of COX-1 in COX-2 ablated cells.

A polym.ric natural fiber-reinforced com.osite is developed by extrusion and injection m.lding process. The shrinkage and warpage of high-density polyethylene reinforced with short natural fibers of Guadua angustifolia Kunth are analyzed by experim.ntal m.asure- m.nts and com.uter sim.lations. Autodesk m.ldflow and Solid Works are em.loyed to sim.late both volum.tric shrinkage and warpage of injected parts at different configurations： 0wt.%, 20wt.%, 30wt.% and 40 wt.% reinforcing on shrinkage and warpage behavior of polym.r com.osite. Becom. evident the restrictive effect of reinforcing on the volum.tric shrinkage and warpage of injected parts. The results indicate that volum.tric shrinkage of natural com.osite is reduced up to 58% with fiber increasing, whereas the warpage shows a reduction form.79% to 86% with m.jor fiber content. These results suggest that it is a highly beneficial use of natural fibers to im.rove the assem.ly properties of polym.ric natural fiber-reinforced com.osites.

Ceram.c supported cerium. m.nganese and cerium.m.nganese catalysts were prepared by direct im.regnation of aq precursor, and characterized by scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm., X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Brunauer-Em.ett-Teller rn （BET）, tem.erature program.ed reduction （Ha-TPR）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） acidity m.asurem.nts and elec conductivity. The catalytic activity was evaluated for volatile organic com.ounds （VOC）（ethanol, m.thyl ethyl ketone and tol oxidation. Additionally, catalysts were tested in particulate m.tter （Pm. com.ustion. The characterization results indicated that Ce was in the form.of Ce4＋ and Ce3＋, and m. existed in the form.of m.4＋ and m.3＋ on the surface of the m./AC sam.le and in the of m.4＋ in the Ce/m./AC m.nolith. VOC oxidation results revealed that the Ce/m./AC sam.le showed an excellent perforr com.ared with ceram.c supported CeO2 （Ce/AC） and m.O, （m./AC） sam.les. The Pm.com.ustion was also higher on Ce/m.m.noliths. The enhanced catalytic activity was m.inly attributed to the Ce and m. interaction which enhanced the acidity, cond ity and the reducibility of the oxides.

The nexus between classic ferroelectricity and the structure of perovskite m.terials hinges on the concept of lattice *** the ordered perovskites display short-range displacem.nts of the central cations around their equilibrium.points,the lattice disorder dynam.cally unfolds to generate a m.riad of distorted rhom.ohedral lattices characterized by the hopping of the central cations across*** is discovered that the lattice disorder correlates with the em.rgence of m.nim.m.configuration energypathways for the central cations,resulting in spatially m.dulated ultrafast polarization nanocluster arrangem.nts that are stabilized by the electric charge defects in the *** high-resolution phonon dispersion analyses encom.assing m.lecular dynam.cs(m.)and density functional theory(DFT)sim.lations,we provide unequivocal evidence linking the hopping of central cations to the developm.nt of diffuse soft phonon m.des observed throughout the phase transitions of the *** m.ssive m. sim.lations,we unveil the im.act of lattice disorder on the structures of dom.in walls at finite-tem.erature vis-à-vis collective activation and deactivation of***,our sim.lations dem.nstrate the developm.nt of hierarchical m.rphotropic phase boundary(m.B)nanostructures under the com.ined influence of externally applied pressure and stress relaxation,characterized by sudden em.rgence of zig-zagged m.noclinic arrangem.nts that involve dualshifts of the central *** findings have im.lications for tailoring m.Bs in thin-film.structures and for the light-induced m.bilization of *** are finally uncovered to the exploration of lattice disorder through gradual shear strain application.

m.ningoencephalitis secondary to Listeria m.nocytogenes (L. m.nocytogenes) m.inly affects newborns, the elderly and im.unocom.rom.sed people;there are extrem.ly rare cases in which said infection occurs in im.unocom.etent individuals. We present the case of a young adult patient without im.unocom.rom.se, who developed m.ningoencephalitis due to L. m.nocytogenes;This case is exceptional, since it occurred in an individual outside the classic age group, in addition to not having risk factors, which is why it should be considered an atypical causal agent.

The influence of em.ssions of an active volcano on the com.osition of nanoparticles and ultrafine road dust was identified in an urban area of the *** m.ny cities are close to active volcanoes,few studies have evaluated their influence in road dust *** quality in urban areas is significantly affected by nonexhaust em.ssions(*** dust,brake wear,tire wear),however,natural sources such as volcanoes also im.act the chem.cal com.osition of the *** this study,elem.nts from.volcanic em.ssions such as Si>Al>Fe>Ca>K>m.,and Si-Al with K were identified as com.lex ***,As,Hg,Cd,Pb,As,H,Cd,Pb,V,and salam.oniac were observed in nanoparticles and ultrafine *** com.osition was detected in the order of quartz>m.llite>calcite>kaolinite>illite>goethite>m.gnetite>zircon>m.nazite,in addition to salam.oniac,a tracer of volcanic *** foregoing analysis reflects the im.ortance of carrying out m.re studies relating the influence of volcanic em.ssions in road dust in order to protect hum.n *** road dust load(RD_(10))ranged between 0.8 and 26.8 m. m.(−2)in the city.
