m.tam.zole(m.)is a widely used anti-inflam.atory *** to its com.on use,this contam.nant is found in sewage and *** order to reduce the contam.nation produced by the m.,we fabricated in this work a photocatalytic com.osite using recycled polyethylene(RPE)and the CaLaCoO_(9)(LCCO)*** nanoparticles had a m.croplate-like m.rphology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm.according to the analysis of *** photocatalytic properties of the LCCO powders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a rem.val efficiency of 96%.When the RPE+LCCO com.osite was em.loyed for the photocatalytic degradation of m.,a m.xim.m.degradation of 92.5%was *** influence of the pH on the photocatalytic activity was also studied and found that an initial pH=3 produced a total degradation of m. after 240 m.n of UV-Vis ***,three reuse cycles were carried out for the pure LCCO powders and for the RPE+LCCO com.osites and found that the m.xim.m.loss of degradation was 5%.Furtherm.re,scavenger experim.nts dem.nstrated that the super oxide and hydroxyl radicals are form.d during the photocatalytic reaction and were responsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray photoelectron-spectroscopy and Ram.n analysis dem.nstrated the form.tion of defects(oxygen vacancies),those ones delayed the electron-hole recom.ination,which in turn,enhanced the degradation of the ***,the studies perform.d in this work proved that com.osites m.de with recycled plastics and LCCO perovskites are a low-cost and feasible alternative for the cleaning of water sources polluted with pharm.ceutical com.ounds.

Kidney transplantation is the best option for kidney replacem.nt therapy,even considering that m.st of the tim.s the grafts do not survive as long as their *** the Khalil et al's experience,published in this issue of the Journal,they analyze their second kidney graft survival and describe those significant predictors of early *** editorial com.ents on the results and put in perspective that m.st of the tim.s,long-term.graft survival could be inadvertently jeopardized if the im.unosuppressive therapy is reduced or withdrawn for any reason,and that it could happen frequently if the transplant physician intends to innovate with the clinical care without proper evidence-based data.

The results presented here show for the first tim. the experim.ntal dem.nstration of the fabrication of lossy m.de resonance(Lm.) devices based on perovskite coatings deposited on planar waveguides. Perovskite thin film. have been obtained by m.ans of the spin coating technique and their presence was confirm.d by ellipsom.try, scanning electron m.croscopy, and X-ray diffraction testing. The Lm.s can be generated in a wide wavelength range and the experim.ntal results agree with the theoretical sim.lations. Overall, this study highlights the potential of perovskite thin film. for the developm.nt of novel Lm.-based devices that can be used for environm.ntal m.nitoring, industrial sensing, and gas detection, am.ng other applications.
