Cataract surgery due to advances in small incision surgery evolved from a procedure concerned with the primary focus on the safe removal of cataractous lens to a procedure focused on the best possible postoperative refractive *** the outcomes of cataract surgery became better,the use of lens surgery as a refractive modality in patients without cataracts has increased in interest and in *** of the crystalline lens for refractive purposes or refractive lens exchange(RlE)presents several advantages over corneal refractive *** with high degrees of myopia,hyperopia and astigmatism are still not good candidates for laser ***,presbyopia can currently only be corrected with monovision or reading *** supplemented with multifocal or accommodating intraocular lenses(IOls)in combination with corneal astigmatic procedures might address all refractive errors including presbyopia,and eliminate the future need for cataract surgery.

The number of people with food allergy(FA)has increased in recent decades,as has the number of foods to which they are *** of FA prevalence vary widely,likely because of different definitions,evaluated foods and geo-graphic *** developed countries,overall preva-lence estimates range from 1.9%to 7.2%[1,2].In latin America,the prevalence of FA in children is between 1.4%and 5.3%[3-6],with important age-based variations(from 1.9%in infants to 0.4%in preschoolers)[7].FA is a complex trait in which the interplay of genetic and environmental fac-tors results in disease ***-known factors that increase atopic susceptibility include sex[8,9],age[10],and socioeconomic status[11-13].Furthermore,the asso-ciation between family history of allergies and childhood FA has been consistently reported in recent ***,a maternal history of allergic disease appears to be more strongly associated with FA than paternal history of atopy[14].

在本教程综述中,我们重新阐述和表达了镧系离子间无辐射能量传递(ET)速率的理论形式,并且强调了考虑镧系离子本身特异性所引发的与Förster和Dexter理论不同之处。所给出的表达式遵循了Judd-Ofelt的4f-4f跃迁理论框架之下的Kushida方法,并计入了如下电多极机制:偶极-偶极(W_(d-d))、偶极-四极(W_(d-q))和四极-四极(W_(q-q))。更为重要的是,当前的机制也扩展包括了交换(W_(ex))和磁偶极子-磁偶极子(W_(md-md))作用,并经过改进进一步包含了屏蔽效应以及给出了F因子(费米黄金规则中的态密度)的解析表达式。与Kushida的原始方法类似,我们只考虑了强制电偶极子(FED)对Judd-Ofelt强度参数的贡献,并细节性地讨论了磁偶极-磁偶极相互作用的选择定则以及相关矩阵元的计算。此外,我们还以Tb(Ⅲ)-Eu(Ⅲ)和Yb(Ⅲ)-Er(Ⅲ)的能量传递速率计算为例,逐步展示了计算过程、主要的计算支撑信息以及所使用的计算脚本。

Through the non separable solution of the eigenvalue problem associated to the problem of a charged particle in a flat box and a constant transversal magnetic field, with landau and symmetric gauges, it is found that the landau’s levels are numerably degenerated in both cases. A mathematical proposition is proven to carry out this statement.

A weight is placed on the top of a rectangular rigid ideal table with four legs, each leg is placed at each vertex of the rectangular table. It is assumed that the legs do not bend when the weight is added. The reactions are computed by assuming the table is supported on a beam, introducing two new beam parameters and minimizing a deflection function of the new parameters. A physical experiment is performed in the lab and the reactions on each leg are provided. The experimental results match the theoretical ones obtained by the proposed model. Geometrical interpretations of the results are given.

Purpose:To evaluate the clinical and visual outcomes,quality of near vision and the influence of photic phenomena in patients bilaterally implanted with a new Precizon Presbyopic multifocal intraocular lens(IOl).Methods:In this prospective consecutive case series,20 eyes of 10 patients were included(mean age 63.80±12.55 years).Uncorrected and corrected visual acuity(far,intermediate and near),subjective refraction,binocular defocus curve,contrast sensitivity(CSV-1000)and quality of vision and satisfaction questionnaires were *** follow-up was 12 months after ***:At 12 months after surgery,uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA)improved with surgery(p=0.001)with a value of 0.08±0.08 *** near visual acuity(UNVA)was 0.22±0.12 logMAR and distance corrected near visual acuity(DCNVA)was 0.16±0.13 *** distance visual acuity(UIVA)was 0.22±0.10 *** sensitivity outcomes were similar to normal population in photopic conditions and slightly reduced in mesopic conditions of *** curve showed that this multifocal IOl was able to provide a visual acuity(VA)equal or better to 0.16 logMAR between defocus levels of+1.00 to−2.50 *** patient satisfaction was obtained in quality of vision and satisfaction questionnaires ***:The Precizon Presbyopic NVA IOl(OPHTEC BV)provides good visual *** multifocal IOl provides a high percentage of spectacle independence due to good VA at far,intermediate and near distances and satisfactory contrast *** patient satisfaction was observed in quality of vision and satisfaction questionnaires with a low percentage of patients manifesting photic phenomena.

Waste frying oil （WFO） is a very important feedstock for obtaining biodiesel at low cost and using WFO in transesterification reactions to produce biodiesel helps eliminate local environmental problems. In this study biodiesel was produced from WFO in sub- and super- critical methanol on a zeolite Y solid acid catalyst. The procedure was optimized using a design of experiments by varying the methanol to WFO molar ratio, the reaction temperature, and the amount of catalyst. Typical biodiesel yields varied from 83 to nearly 100% with methyl esters content ranging from 1.41-1.66mol.l-~ and typical dynamic viscosities of 22.1-8.2 cE Gas chromatography was used to determine the molecular composition of the biodiesel. The reaction products contained over 82 wt-% methyl esters, 4.2 wt-% free acids, 13.5 wt-% monoglycer- ides, and 0.3 wt-% diglycerides. The transesterification of WFO with methanol around its critical temperature combined with a zeolite Y as an acid catalyst is an efficient approach for the production of biodiesel with acceptable yields.

The endosomal Toll-like receptors （TlRs） TlR3, TlR7, TlR8 and TlR9 are important in sensing foreign nucleic acids encountered by phagocytes. Because TlR8 was initially thought to be non-functional in mice, less is known about TlR8 than the genetically and functionally related TlR7. Originally associated with the recognition of single-stranded RNA of viral origin, there is now evidence that human TlR8 is also able to sense bacterial RNA released within phagosomal vacuoles, inducing the production of both nuclear factor （NF）-κB-dependent cytokines and type I interferons （IFNs）, such as IFN-β. The functions of TlR8 extend beyond the recognition of foreign pathogens and include cross-talk with other endosomal TlRs, a process that may also have a role in the generation of autoimmunity.
