The scope and aim of this work is to describe the two-body interaction mediated by a particle （either the scalar or the gauge boson） within the light-front formulation. To do this, first of all we point out the importance of propagators and Green functions in Quantum Mechanics. Then we project the covariant quantum propagator onto the light front time to get the propagator for scalar particles in these coordinates. This operator propagates the wave function from x＋ = 0 to x＋〉 0. It corresponds to the definition of the time ordering operation in the light front time x＋. We calculate the light-front Green＇s function for 2 interacting bosons propagating forward in x＋. We also show how to write down the light front Green＇s function from the Feynman propagator and finally make a generalization to N bosons.

Retroviruses have been proven to cause infections and diseases in a series of mammalian hosts but not in ***,this letter discussed the dog susceptibility to retrovirus infection,encompassing arguments to understand why dogs may have not been infected by retroviruses thus *** potential resistance of retrovirus in dogs enables this provocative short communication to discuss this question,looking at some evolutive *** lineage of canids has shown,throughout its evolutionary history,a smaller accumulation of retroviruses in canid genomes,classified as endogenous *** this context,the genomes of canids seem to offer obstacles,which have been evolu-tionarily conserved,in the face of retroviral infection.

Background： Nutrition is one of the most important factors that affect animal performance, and it therefore also impacts on financial results in beef systems. In this way, finding the best strategy for feeding supplements is of paramount importance. Aiming to evaluate the effect of supplement feeding strategies for beef cows in the last third of gestation, two experiments were conducted. In Experiment 1, 35 pregnant Nellore cows were assigned to a completely randomized design with four treatments： control, which received no supplement; supplementation for the last 30 d of gestation（30-d; 3.0 kg/d）; supplementation for the last 60 d of gestation（60-d; 1.5 kg/d）; or supplementation for the last 90 d of gestation（90-d; 1.0 kg/d）. All supplemented treatments received the same total amount of supplement throughout the experiment： 90 kg（20% of crude protein）. A second experiment（Experiment 2） was delineated to evaluate the effects of the amounts offered in Experiment 1 on intake and metabolism. Four multiparous pregnant Nellore cows were assigned to a 4 × 4 Latin square design, with periods of15 d ***： There was a linear effect of the number of days of supplementation on calving body weight（BW; P 〈 0.05）and a quadratic effect on BW change from parturition to d 31 post-calving（P 〈 0.05）, with cows on the 60-d strategy losing less BW post-calving. No difference was found in offspring birth BW（P 〉 0.10）. A significant linear effect on interval from parturition to conception（P 〈 0.05） was observed, with the highest calving to conception interval being observed in the 90-d strategy. The level of supplementation did not affect forage intake or neutral detergent fiber digestibility（P 〉 0.10）. Nitrogen excreted through urine tended to increase linearly with the level of supplementation（P 〈 0.10）.Conclusion： Providing 1.5 kg of supplement during the last 60 d of gestation improves cow performance after calving, reducing the magnitude of BW lost, and reduces the number of

Segmented all-electron basis set of triple zeta valence quality plus polarization functions(TZP)for the elements of the fifth row to be used together with the zero-order regular approximation(ZORA)is carefully *** correctly describe electrons distant from atomic nuclei,the basis set is augmented with diffuse functions giving rise to a set designated as *** the ZORA-B3LYP theoretical level,these sets are used to calculate the ionization energy and mean dipole polarizability of some atoms,bond length,dissociation energy,and harmonic vibrational frequency of diatomic ***,these results are compared with the theoretical and experimental data found in the *** considering that our sets are relatively compact,they are sufficiently accurate and reliable to perform property calculations involving simultaneously electrons from the inner shell and outer *** performances of the ZORA and second-order Douglas-Kroll-Hess Hamiltonians are evaluated and the results are also discussed.

The Use of Triancinolone for the Treatment of Keloid Scars

Scars, when in good evolution, result in a smooth, thin and discreet tissue. Keloid scars, however, are a type of abnormal and exacerbated repair response to tissue injury, whether in surgical interventions or in various injuries, which present in a prominent and gross way. In this context, there is an excess of collagen deposition in the tissue repair process, which can lead to the formation of keloids. The diagnosis of the condition presented is made by the medical professional or by the patient himself after the surgical intervention or skin injury. Under this analysis, protruding, rough and bad-looking scars are identified. In addition, we highlight the existence of keloids similar to large tumors, described as jorge Lobo disease. The treatment encompasses massages, compressions, corticosteroids, chemotherapy, collagenase and cryotherapy. At first, we used corticosteroid-based massages, and then we started using compressive dressings until we started intrakeloid infiltrations with injectable triamcinolone. Triamcinolone 10 mg injectable—1/10—in 0.9% saline, with syringe and fixed needle 0.3 mm × 8 mm, intralesional infiltrate, in this context, proved to be effective for its treatment when applied sequentially and linearly. In cases where the medication was applied, there was an improvement after 21 days of application and a definitive improvement 2 months after the injury. In comparison, on the other hand, patients who were not subjected to the application of the medication may improve after 4 months of the injury or worsen compared to the initial case. We have come to the conclusion that this procedure may be one of the chosen ones for the treatment of keloid scars, being one of the most recommended for cases of keloid already installed.

Optimization of the Chitinase Production by Different Metarhizium anisopliae Strains under Solid-State Fermentation with Silkworm Chrysalis as Substrate Using CCRD

Entomopathogenic fungi, such as Metarhizium anisopliae, are able to control various insect pests. These fungi attack the integument of the host using an enzymatic complex. Among the enzymes found in this complex, chitinase is an important component. However, the relation between the chitinase production and the virulence from different M. anisopliae strains has not been analyzed. In this manuscript it is presented the chitinase production by four M. anisopliae strains with different potential of virulence in Solid-State Fermentation using silkworm chrysalis as substrate. The higher chitinase level was obtained with the strain IBCB 360 (7.14 U/g of substrate) with potential virulence of 68% on Diatrea saccharalis. The enzyme production was optimized for all strains using a factorial planning (CCRD) considering the cultivation time and medium humidity as independent variables. The maximal production of chitinase was obtained at a range from 8 to 12-days old cultures and from 45% to 62% of moisture according to the surface response plot, with high R2 value. The enzyme production by the strain IBCB 167 was increased two-folds under optimized conditions, while for the strains IBCB 360 and 425 the chitinase production was increased four-folds and nine-folds for the strain IBCB 384.

The use of marginal backfills in GSE （geosynthetic stabilized earth） walls has not been recommended by different standards specifications. Restrictions are motivated by the poor hydraulic conductivity of fine soils that are capable of developing of water pressures. However, the use of granular materials can expend the cost of the construction. As a result, local soils, granular or not, have been increasingly used. Unsaturated conditions of fine soils may result in convenient performance even using extensible reinforcements. This paper evaluates the performance of a full scale model of a nonwoven geotextile reinforced wall constructed with fine grained soil backfill. The unsaturated condition was maintained and matric suctions, displacements and reinforcement strains were monitored during the test. Results have shown that the unsaturated condition of the backfill allowed maximum reinforcement peak strain of 0.4 %. For the case of a wrap faced wall on a firm foundation the performance and good agreement between measured strains and factors of safety from limit equilibrium analyses have shown the maintenance of unsaturated conditions as an economical alternative to the use of high quality fill.
