We propose a method that automatically generates discrete bicubic G^1 continuous B-spline surfaces that interpolate the curve network of a ship ***,the curves in the network are classified into two types;boundary curves and ＂reference curves＂,The boundary curves correspond to a set of rectangular（or triangular）topological type that can be representes with tensot-product （or degenerate）B-spline surface ***,in the interior of the patches,surface fitting points and cross boundary derivatives are estimated from the reference curves by constructing ＂virtual＂isoparametric ***,a discrete G^1 continuous B-spline surface is gencrated by a surface fitting *** smooth ship hullform surfaces generated from curve networks corresponding to actual ship hullforms demonstrate the quality of the method.

AIM： To evaluate the usefulness of various computed tomography （CT） findings including distribution of infiltration or fluid collection in differentiating the major etiologies of acute pancreatitis. METHODS： We reviewed 75 relatively severe cases of acute pancreatitis of alcoholic （n = 43） or biliary stone （n = 32） etiology having infiltration or fluid collection on CT. We compared the pancreatic size, CT grading, presence or absence of biliary calculi, and dilatation of pancreatic or bile duct. We also evaluated degree and the distribution of infiltration and fluid collection in each group. RESULTS： The sizes of pancreas were not different between alcohol group and stone group. Alcohol group showed higher CT grading than stone group （P 〈 0.05）. Presence of biliary stone and duct dilatation was statistically significant in differentiating etiology （P 〈 0.05）. Alcohol group showed significantly prominent peripancreatic pathology than stone group only in left peritoneal compartment （P = 0.020）. CONCLUSION： Alcoholic pancreatitis tends to form more prominent peripancreatic changes than gallstone pancreatitis in relatively severe cases. This is evident on the anterior aspect of left abdomen. Although clinical history and some CT findings usually are a major determinant of the etiology, this pattern of peripancreatic pathology may have an ancillary role in determining the etiologies of acute pancreatitis in the equivocal cases.

A cobalt-silica hybrid nanocatalyst bearing small cobalt particles of diameter -5 nm was prepared through a hydrothermal reaction and hydrogen reduction. The resulting material showed very high CO conversion （〉82%） and high hydrocarbon productivity （-1.0gHC·gcat^-1·h^-1 ） with high activity （-8.5 × 10^-5 ***^-1.s-1） in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction.

Background:Citrulline is one of the non-essential amino acids that is thought to improve exercise performance and reduce post-exercise muscle *** conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the effect of citrulline supplements on the post-exercise rating of perceived exertion(RPE),muscle soreness,and blood lactate ***:A random effects model was used to calculate the effect sizes due to the high variability in the study design and study populations of the articles included.A systematic search of PubMed,Web of Science,and *** was *** for study inclusion was limited to studies that were randomized controlled trials involving healthy individuals and that investigated the acute effect of citrulline supplements on RPE,muscle soreness,and blood lactate *** supplementation time frame was limited to 2 h before *** types and number of participants,types of exercise tests performed,supplementation protocols for L-citrulline or citrulline malate,and primary(RPE and muscle soreness)and secondary(blood lactate level)study outcomes were extracted from the identified ***:The analysis included 13 eligible articles including a total of 206 *** most frequent dosage used in the studies was 8 g of citrulline *** supplementation significantly reduced RPE(n=7,p=0.03)and muscle soreness 24-h and 48-h after post-exercise(n=7,p=0.04;n=6,p=0.25,respectively).However,citrulline supplementation did not significantly reduce muscle soreness 72-h post-exercise(n=4,p=0.62)or lower blood lactate levels(n=8,p=0.17).Conclusion:Citrulline supplements significantly reduced post-exercise RPE and muscle soreness without affecting blood lactate levels.

To increase the competition of the solar energy collection system, the size of the solar panel module during the manufacturing process is being increased continuously. As the size of the solar panel increases, the size of the robot to handle the panel increased also. The change in scale of the robot inevitably results ill the amplification of the adverse effect of tile flexure. The main source of the flexure in the large scale solar cell panel handling system is the long and thin fork fingers of the [land and the solar cell panel. In addition, tile belt-driven actuator system used by most of the large scale panel handling robot is another significant source of the vibration. In this paper, the flexible multi body dynamic model of a large scale solar cell panel handling robot, which is being designed and constructed with the help of Kyung Hee University, is developed. The belt-driven system in the robot is also modeled as flexible system and included ill the robot to represent the actual vibration characteristics of the actuator system. In addressing spinal sagittal imbalance through a posterior approach, the surgeon now may choose from among a variety of osteotomy techniques. Posterior column osteotomies such as the facetectomy or Ponte or Smith-Petersen osteotomy provide the least correction, but can be used at multiple levels with minimal blood loss and a lower operative risk. Pedicle subtraction osteotomies provide nearly 3 times the per-level correction of Ponte/Smith-Petersen osteotomies; however, they carry increased technical demands, longer operative time, and greater blood loss and associated significant morbidity, including neurological injury. The literature focusing on pedicle subtraction osteotomy for fixed sagittal imbalance patients is reviewed. The longterm overall outcomes, surgical tips to reduce the complications and suggestions for their proper application are also provided.

AIM:To report CT and MR imaging findings of ocular adnexal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma associated with IgG4-related disease(IgG4-MALT lymphoma),a rare but clinically important complication of ocular adnexal IgG4-related ***:We retrospectively reviewed all cases of histologically confirmed ocular adnexal IgG4-related disease at three ter tiary and one secondary referral centers,between February 2003 and December *** cases of histopathologically diagnosed IgG4-MALT lymphoma were *** and MR images were analyzed by consensus of two experienced head and neck ***:Lacrimal glands were the main site of involvement in all seven *** lesions typically showed well-demarcated margins,iso-to hyperattenuation on precontrast CT,T2 hypo-to isointensity,T1 isointensity,and homogenous internal architecture with homogenous enhancement *** were mostly hyperdense and isointense to normal extraocular muscles on postcontrast CT and MR images,***:Unlike in typical ocular adnexal IgG4-related disease,T2 isointensity and hyperattenuation on precontrast CT images were noted in some IgG4-MALT lymphoma *** the findings may be nonspecific,the possibility of accompanying MALT lymphoma may need to be considered,when ocular adnexal lesions in patients clinically suspected of having IgG4-related disease are refractory to glucocorticoids and show T2 isointensity and hyperattenuation on precontrast CT for the optimal management of the ***,this is a case series of a very rare complication of ocular adnexal IgG4-related disease,and thus caution is warranted to generalize the conclusion.
