The electrical characteristics of hybrid super capacitor were evaluated by synthesizing LTO(Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12))using TiO_(2) having a hydrogen titanate nanowire *** of the hydrogen titanate nanowire was implemented by using TiO_(2) having size of 60 nm and NaOH,and performing synthesis at 70℃for 6 h with a sonochemical *** compound was synthesized at 150℃for 36 h and at 180℃for 36 h respectively by using the hydrogen titanate nanowire and LiOH·H2O as starting materials with a hydrothermal *** final LTO compound was synthesized at 700℃for 6 h using a solid-state *** a result of manufacturing the hybrid super capacitor using LTO synthesized at 180℃for 36 h with the hydrothermal method,a capacity of 198 mA·h/g has been achieved compared to a theoretical capacity of 172 mA·h/g of existing LTO,and thus,the capacity has been increased by about 13%.Further,such excellent cycle performance has ensured its possibility as a high-capacity capacitor.

A monolayer of Sr2Nb3Oio(SNO)is deposited on the Pt/Ti/SiCWSi(Pt?Si)or Pt/Ti/polyimide(Pt-Pl)substrate by using the Langmuir-Blodgett method and employed as a seed-layer for the growth of a crystalline(Nai_xKx)NbO3(NKN)film at 350℃.The crystalline NKN film is grown along the[001]direction on the SNO/Pt-Si(or SNO/Pt-PI)*** to the presence of oxygen vacancies in the SNO seed-layer,the NKN film exhibits low ferroelectric properties and large leakage *** ameliorate these properties,the SNO/Pt-Si substrate is annealed in a 50 Torr oxygen atmosphere at 300℃,which removes the oxygen ***,the NKN film deposited on this substrate exhibits promising electrical properties,namely a dielectric constant of 278,dissipation factor of 1.7%,a piezoelectric 8nstant of 175 pm`V^-1,and a leakage current density of 6.47 x 10^-7 A cm^-2 at-0.2 MV *** electrical properties are obtained from the NKN film grown on the flexible SNO/Pt-PI substrate at 350°***,the NKN films grown on the SNO seed-layer at 350°C can be applied to electronic devices with flexible polymer substrates.

Pancreatic metastasis of leiomyosarcoma in the right thigh:A case report

Pancreatic tumors are primary in most of the cases. Pancreatic metastases associated with other primary malignancies, especially pancreatic metastasis of leiomyosarcoma, are uncommon. A 66-year-old woman underwent surgical resection of malignant mesenchymoma （70% osteosarcoma and 30% leiomyosarcoma） in the right thigh. In the postoperative period, a pancreatic mass was identified radiologically by abdominal computed tomography. Pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy was performed. The surgical specimen revealed leiomyosarcoma metastasized to the pancreas. A metastatic nodule on the remnant pancreatic tail was discovered 9 mo after the first pancreatic resection, and distal pancreatectomy was performed. Cases of pancreatic metastasis from leiomyosarcoma are extremely rare, especially when the tumor was resectable. We report here a unique case of pancreatic metastasis from a leiomyosarcoma in the dght thigh that had been treated surgically.

We evaluated the biocompatibility of a dimethylpolysiloxane-coated micro-device which had been designed for monitoring real-time bladder volume in previous studies. The extract assay with dimethylpolysiloxane which had been used for coating the micro-device to measure the bladder volume was performed as an in vitro cytotoxicity test. For in vivo biocompatibility testing, the inflammatory responses around the implantation site of the micro-device in subcutaneous tissue of rat were assessed by light microscope with H＆E stain and fluorescence microscope with ED1 stain and von Willebrand factor stain. The averages of cell viability in dimethylpolysiloxane group were 84.6% and 82.3% at 24 h and 72 h incubation, respectively. The qualitative evaluations with light and fluorescence microscope revealed that the inflammatory changes peaked during 2 weeks but almost disappeared at 4 weeks after implantation of devices. The quantitative evaluations for granulation layer formation and neovascularization showed that the thickness of the layer in dimethylpolysiloxane group peaked during 2 weeks but it came to be stabilized at 4 weeks as thin as at 2 weeks in control group, and the frequency of neovascularization was higher in dimethylpolysiloxane group than in control group but it was not increased with time. The dimethylpolysiloxane-coated micro-device is thought be a reliable bio-medical device.

Background:Although aseptic meningitis associated with echovirus type 30 has emerged as a global public health concern,no data have been reported on children's immune status against echovirus type *** current study aimed to investigate the seropositivity among Korean children for antibodies against echovirus ***:Two hundred and fifty residual serum samples were collected at ***'s *** were categorized by age into four groups:group 1 (3 months-2 years),group 2 (3-6 years),group 3 (7-10 years) and group 4 (11-15 years).Neutralizing antibodies against echovirus 30 were ***:Seroprotective neutralizing antibodies against echovirus 30 were detected in 129 (49%) *** rates were 23%,48%,55% and 73% in groups 1-4,*** antibody titers,1:256-1:512 was the highest neutralizing antibody titer range in group 2,while 1:1024-1:2048 in group 3 and *** the seropositive individuals in group 3 and 4,6% and 12% had neutralizing antibody titers of 1:2048,***:The seropositivity rate increased significantly with age..The distribution of neutralizing antibody titers varied by age group,and higher ranges of neutralizing antibody titers were observed in higher age *** findings suggest high susceptibility to echovirus 30 infection in children younger than 2 years *** 30 infection in childhood may have contributed to increased neutralizing antibody titers with age.

Wilson disease (WD) is an autosomal recessive disorder of copper transport caused by alteration of the adenosine triphosphatase 7B gene. It is rare to diagnose WD below the age of three years. Molecular genetic testing is one of the most important diagnostic methods and may confirm the diagnosis in equivocal cases. We report a case of a 9-mo old boy with WD who presented as chronic hepatitis. Genetic analysis showed compound heterozygotes of p.G1186S and c.4006delA.

Purpose:Patients’gender,which can be one of the most important determinants of traumatic brain injury(TBI)outcomes,is also likely to interact with many other outcome variables of *** multicenter descriptive study investigated gender differences in epidemiological,clinical,treatment,mortality,and variable characteristics in adult TBI ***:The selection criteria were defined as patients who had been diagnosed with TBI and were admitted to the hospital between January 1,2016 and December 31,2018.A total of 4468 adult TBI patients were enrolled at eight University *** on the list of enrolled patients,the medical records of the patients were reviewed and they were registered online at each *** registered patients were classified into three groups according to the Glasgow coma scale(GCS)score:mild(13-15),moderate(9-12),and severe(3-8),and the differences between men and women in each group were *** risk factors of moderated and severe TBI compared to mild TBI were also ***:The study included 3075 men and 1393 women and the proportion of total males was 68.8%.Among all the TBI patients,there were significant differences between men and women in age,past history,and GCS *** the mild and severe TBI groups showed significant differences in age,past history,and clinical symptoms,the moderate TBI group showed significant differences in age,past history,cause of justice,and ***:To the best of our knowledge,this multicenter study is the first to focus on gender differences of adult patients with TBI in *** study shows significant differences between men and women in many aspects of adult ***,gender differences should be strongly considered in TBI studies.
