Pancreatic cystic lesions(PCLs)are becoming more prevalent due to more frequent abdominal imaging and the increasing age of the general *** has become crucial to identify these PCLs and subsequently risk stratify them to guide *** the high morbidity associated with pancreatic surgery,only those PCLs at high risk for malignancy should undergo such ***,current diagnostic testing is suboptimal at accurately diagnosing and risk stratifying ***,research has focused on developing new techniques for differentiating mucinous from non-mucinous PCLs and identifying high risk lesions for *** sectional imaging radiomics can potentially improve the predictive accuracy of primary risk stratification of PCLs at the time of detection to guide invasive *** cyst fluid glucose has reemerged as a potential biomarker,cyst fluid molecular markers have improved accuracy for identifying specific types of *** ultrasound guided approaches such as confocal laser endomicroscopy and through the needle microforceps biopsy have shown a good correlation with histopathological findings and are evolving techniques for identifying and risk stratifying *** most of these recent diagnostics are only practiced at selective tertiary care centers,they hold a promise that management of PCLs will only get better in the future.

Variability in the blood-breath ratio(BBr)of alcohol is important,because it relates a mea-surement of the blood-alcohol concentration(BAC)with the co-existing breath-alcohol con-centration(BrAC).The BBr is also used to establish the statutory BrAC limit for driving from the existing statutory BAC limits in different *** in-vivo BBr depends on a host of analytical,sampling and physiological factors,including subject demographics,time after end of drinking(rising or falling BAC),the nature of the blood draw(whether venous or arterial)and the subject's breathing pattern prior to exhalation into the breath *** results from a controlled drinking study involving healthy volunteers(85 men and 15 women)from three ethnic groups(Caucasians,Hispanics and African Americans)were used to evaluate various factors influencing the *** in breath was determined with a quantitative infrared analyzer(Intoxilyzer 8000)and BAC was determined by headspace gas chromatography(HS-GC).The BAC and BrAC were highly correlated(r = 0.948)and the BBr in the post-absorptive state was 2 382±119(mean ± SD).The BBr did not depend on gen-der(female:2 396±101 and male:2 380±123,P>0.05)nor on racial group(Caucasians 2 398±124,African Americans 2 344±119 and Hispanics 2 364±104,P>0.05).The BBr was lower in subjects with higher breath-and body-temperatures(Preased with longer exhalation times into the breath-analyzer(Prptive state,none of the 100 subjects had a BBr of less than 2 100∶1.

Only a small amount of work has been published on the topic of exploiting existing Long-Term Evolution-Advanced(LTE)cellular communication network infrastructure for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV)data *** paper documents a modeling and simulation(m&s)framework that has been developed utilizing the powerful OMNeT++simulation tool for assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of this prospect in various UAV *** multiple scenarios,we have studied the data rate requirements for communications between small and medium-sized UAVs and base *** this framework,we have shown that the data rate requirements for the links are within the data throughput achieved by LTE *** developed framework implements a propagation model endorsed by the 3GPP LTE project team and also accurately models the high mobility of *** framework is highly configurable and extensible and boasts of automatic aggregation of results and chart *** outcomes of this research may be utilized by industry for rapidly deploying highly mobile,low-cost UAVs in a wide range of applications and scenarios.

Key establishment and its management in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) is a challenging problem due to its limited resources and disordered structure. Many key management schemes have been developed recently for WSN to provide secure communication between source and destination sensor nodes.A serious threat highlighted in all of these schemes is that of node capture attacks,where an adversary gains full control over a sensor node through direct physical *** capture attacks can also be helpful to an adversary in new attacks like Blackhole and Denial of *** of these proposed key management solutions still suffer from node capture attacks with *** current sensor networks are assumed to be designed for specific applications,having key management protocols strongly coupled to *** future sensor networks are envisioned as comprising heterogeneous devices assisting to a large range of *** achieve this goal,a new application independent approach is needed. In this paper we therefore present a novel,extended version of our previously published Dynamic Group-based Key Establishment(DGKE) protocol. We compare the proposed scheme with existing key management schemes,which shows a significant improvement in resilience against node capture attacks,memory overhead and connectivity.

Androgen deprivation therapy （ADT） is widely used as standard therapy in the treatment of locally advanced and metastatic prostate cancer. While efficacious, ADT is associated with multiple side effects, including decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, diabetes, loss of muscle tone and altered body composition, osteoporosis, lipid changes, memory loss, gynecomastia and hot flashes. The breadth of literature for the treatment of hot flashes is much smaller in men than that in women. While hormonal therapy of hot flashes has been shown to be effective, multiple non-hormonal medications and treatment methods have also been developed. This article reviews current options for the treatment of hot flashes in patients taking ADT.

Anemia of diverse etiology is a common complication of chronic liver diseases. The causes of anemia include acute or chronic gastrointestinal hemorrhage, and hypersplenism secondary to portal hypertension. Severe hepatocellular disease predisposes to hemorrhage because of impaired blood coagulation caused by deficiency of blood coagulation factors synthesized by hepatocytes, and/or thrombocytopenia. Aplastic anemia, which is characterized by pancytopenia and hypocellular bone marrow, may follow the development of hepatitis. Its presentation includes progressive anemia and hemorrhagic manifestations. Hematological complications of combination therapy for chronic viral hepatitis include clinically signif icant anemia, secondary to treatment with ribavirin and/or interferon. ribavirininduced hemolysis can be reversed by reducing the dose of the drug or discontinuing it altogether. Interferons may contribute to anemia by inducing bone marrow suppression. Alcohol ingestion is implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic liver disease and may contribute to associated anemia. In patients with chronic liver disease, anemia may be exacerbated by defi ciency of folic acid and/or vitamin B12 that can occur secondary to inadequate dietary intake or malabsorption.

Diagenetic and geochemical studies of the Buchan Formation (Upper Devonian) in the Central North Sea

The Upper Devonian Buchan Formation reservoirs in the UK Central North Sea are litharenite/sublitharenite and were deposited in fluvial-aeolian settings. The grain-coating clays in the aeolian sandstones have effectively inhibited quartz overgrowth. Hence, the reduction of reservoir quality is mainly due to mechanical compaction and early dolomite pre- cipitation in both fluvial and aeolian sandstones; quartz overgrowth and kaolinite illitization in fluvial sandstones; and limited smectite illitization in aeolian sandstones. The carbon/oxygen stable isotopes of dolomite cements suggest a predominantly marine carbon source and precipitation temperatures between 25 and 58 ~C indicating a shallow burial depth during dolomite precipitation. The temperatures and the dolomite distribution indicate that the cements originated from the overlying Upper Permian Zechstein carbonates. Extensive quartz overgrowths formed at 80 and 120 ~C in the late and deep diagenetic burial history. The most probable silica source was from feldspar kaolinitization and pressure dissolution of quartz grains. Through detailed petrography and geochemical analyses, the burial-paragenesis-thermal history of the Buchan Formation has been constructed. Similar diagenetic processes are likely to have occurred in the Buchan Formation in other parts of the Central and Northern North Sea. This study may allow new petroleum plays to be considered in areas previously thought to have poor hydrocarbon potential.

A novel conditional cell transmission model （CCTM） is a potential simulation tool because it accommodates all traffic conditions from light condition to oversaturated condition. To test the performance of the CCTM, a series of experiments for sensitivity analysis were designed and performed for a multilane, two-way, three-signal sample network. Experiment 1 shows that the model is performed in a logical and expected manner with variations in traffic demand with time and direction. Experiment 2 shows when the possibility of the occurrence of a useful gap increases to 60% and 100%, the delays in left rams decrease by 5% and 15%, respectively. In Experiment 3, comparing the possibility of a conditional cell of 0 with 100%, delay of left turn and delay of the entire network were underestimated by 58% and 11%, respectively. Hence, sensitivity analysis demonstrates that by reflecting local drivers＇ behaviors properly, the CCTM provides an accurate representation of traffic flow in simulating oversaturated traffic conditions.
