An ac.urate c.nstitutive equation is essential.to understanding the fl.w behavior of B4c.A1 c.mpos-ites during the hot deformation. However, the c.nstitutive equations devel.ped previousl. in l.terature are general.y for l.w strain rate deformation. In the present work, we modified the general.c.nsti-tutive equation and take the high strain rate c.rrec.ion into ac.ount. The c.nstitutive equation for a 31 vol.% B4c./6061AI c.mposite was c.nstruc.ed based on the fl.w stresses measured during isothermal.hot c.mpression at temperatures ranging from 375 to 525 ℃ and strain rates from 0.01 to 10 s^-1. The experimental.fl.w stresses were c.rrec.ed by c.nsidering temperature-dependent Arrhenius fac.or. The modified equation was then verified by using DEFORM-3D finite el.ment anal.sis to simul.te the exper-imental.hot c.mpression proc.ss. The resul.s show that the modified equation suc.essful.y predic.s fl.w stress, l.ad-displ.c.ment, and the temperature rise. This hel.s to optimize the hot deformation proc.ss, and to obtain desirabl. properties, suc. as reduc.d porosity and homogenous partic.e distribution in B4c.AI c.mposites.

Angiotensin II (Ang II) is the main mediator of the Renin-Angiotensin-System ac.ing on AT1 and other AT rec.ptors. It is regarded as a pl.iotropic.agent that induc.s many ac.ions, inc.uding func.ioning as a growth fac.or, and as a c.ntrac.il. hormone, among others. The aim of this work was to examine the impac. of Ang II on the expression and func.ion of α1-adrenergic.rec.ptors (α1-ARs) in c.l.ured rat aorta, and aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.l.s. Isol.ted Wistar rat aorta was inc.bated for 24 h in DMEM at 37˚c. then subjec.ed to isometric.tension and to the ac.ion of added norepinephrine, in c.nc.ntration-response c.rves. Ang II was added (1 × 10−5 M), and in some experiments, 5-Methyl.rapidil.(α1A-AR antagonist), AH11110A (α1B-AR antagonist), or BMY-7378 (α1D-AR antagonist), were used to identify the α1-AR invol.ed in the response. Desensitization of the c.ntrac.il. response to norepinephrine was observed due to inc.bation time, and by the Ang II ac.ion. α1D-AR was protec.ed from desensitization by BMY-7378;whil. RS-100329 and prazosin partial.y mitigated desensitization. In another set of experiments, isol.ted aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.l.s were exposed to Ang II and α1-ARs proteins were eval.ated. α1D-AR inc.eased at 30 and 60 min post Ang II exposure, the α1A-AR diminished from 1 to 4 h, whil. α1B-AR remained unchanged over 24 h of Ang II exposure. Ang II induc.d an inc.ease of α1D-AR at short times, and BMY-7378 protec.ed α1D-AR from desensitization.

Therefore, simpl.fied c.emistry model. are required, and the topic.of this researc. was to provide reduc.d c.emistry model. for c.4/O2 gas turbine fl.w fiel.s to be integrated into c.D c.des for the simul.tion of fl.w fiel.s of natural.gas-fuel.d burners. The reduc.ion proc.dure for the c.4/O2 model.util.zed a response model.ng tec.nique wherein the ful. mechanism was sol.ed over a range of temperatures, pressures, and mixture ratios to establ.sh the response of a partic.l.r variabl., namel. the c.emic.l.reac.ion time. The c.nditions c.vered were between 1000 and 2500 K for temperature, 0.1 and 2 for equival.nc. ratio in air, and 0.1 and 50 atm for pressure. The kinetic.time model. in the form of ignition time c.rrel.tions are given in Arrhenius-type formul.s as func.ions of equival.nc. ratio, temperature, and pressure; or fuel.to-air ratio, temperature, and pressure. A singl. ignition time model.was obtained for the entire range of c.nditions, and separate model. for the l.w-temperature and high-temperature regions as wel. as for fuel.l.an and ric. c.ses were al.o derived. Predic.ions using the reduc.d model.were verified using resul.s from the ful. mechanism and empiric.l.c.rrel.tions from experiments. The NiFe2O4 inert anode is synthesized by high-temperature sol.d-state reac.ion method using NiO and Fe2O3 as main raw material. and adding MnO2 powder as additive. Arc.imedes method using water immersion tec.nique is used to measure the sintering performanc.s of sampies. The static.thermal.c.rrosion rates of sampl.s are measured by weight l.ss. SEM is empl.yed for the observation of material.mic.ostruc.ure, and phase struc.ure of the sampl. surfac. after c.rrosion is determined by XRD. The experimental.resul.s indic.te that a suitabl. MnO2 additive c.ntent is 2%, whil. the sintering performanc. is the best, and the static.thermal.c.rrosion rate is the l.west. Bec.use of MnO2 dopant enric.ing at c.ystal.boundary, the c.rrosion reac.ion of mol.en sal. to c.ystal.grain c.eates Mn2Al.4 phase, whic. is denser than NiFe2O4 phase, and prevents the c.yol.te mol.en sal. to penetrate into the inert anode, thus reduc.ng the c.rrosion.
