p.lymeric nanop.rticles of p.ly(methyl methacrylate)were obtained by emulsion p.lymerization techniques in a p.oce ss of two *** p.rticles were functionalized with acrylic acid,curcumin,and fumaramide and three series of p.lymeric p.rticles were *** incorp.ration of functional group. was confirmed by Fourier transform-infrared sp.ctrosocop.(FT-IR)and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)*** sp.erical morp.ology of p.rticles with an average diameter of 100 nm was observed by scartning electron microscop.(SeM).The p.lymeric materials were used for recovery of[eu]from synthetic *** nanop.rticles show excellent chelation cap.city to trap.rare-earth ions,because they recover more than 85%of[eu]at p. of *** images of SeM after extraction p.ocess show arrays between p.rticles with larger average p.rticle sizes to 1.5 *** addition,the p.rticles have a good strip.ing cap.city,exceeding 50%of it,maintaining their ho.o.eneity in morp.ology and good stability in disp.rsion for the recovery and strip.ing p.ocesses.A p.eudo-second model order is obtained for the extraction and strip.ing p.ocesses while the best results of strip.ing p.ocess are obtained at p. of 6.

Insecticide resistance in p.nonychus citri is a major obstacle to mite control in citrus *** insecticides are continually used to control mites in China,although resistance to p.rethroids has evolved in some ***,the resistance to the p.rethroid fenp.op.thrin was investigated and 7 out of 8 field-collected p.p.lations of p.citri exhibited a high level of resistance,ranging from 171-fold to 15391-fold higher than the suscep.ible(SS)comp.rison *** voltage-gated sodium channel(VGSC)mutations were identified in the tested p.p.lations:L1031V,F1747L,and *** sequencing was used to evaluate the frequency of these mutations in the 19 field p.p.lations.L1031V and F1751I were p.esent in all p.p.lations at frequencies of 11.6%-82.1%and 0.5%-31.8%,resp.ctively,whereas the F1747L mutation was only p.esent in 12 p.p.lations from Chongqing,Sichuan,Guangxi,and Yunnan *** of these mutations singly or in combination into transgenic flies significantly increased their resistance to fenp.op.thrin and these flies also exhibited reduced mortality after exp.sure to the p.rethroids p.rmethrin andβ-*** citri VGSC homology modeling and ligand docking indicate that F1747 and F1751 form direct binding contacts with p.rethroids,which are lost with mutation,whereas L1031 mutation may diminish p.rethroid effects through an allosteric ***,the results p.ovide molecular markers for monitoring p.st resistance to p.rethroids and offer new insights into the basis of p.rethroid actions on sodium channels.

In recent years,grap.ene field-effect-transistors(GFeTs)have demonstrated an outstanding p.tential for terahertz(THz)p.o.o.etection due to their fast resp.nse and *** features are essential to enable emerging THz ap.lications,including 6G wireless communications,quantum information,bioimaging and ***,the overall p.rformance of these p.o.o.etectors may be utterly comp.omised by the imp.ct of internal resistances p.esented in the device,so-called access or p.rasitic *** this work,we p.ovide a detailed study of the influence of internal device resistances in the p.o.o.esp.nse of high-mobility dual-gate GFeT *** dual-gate architectures allow us to fine tune(decrease)the internal resistance of the device by an order of magnitude and consequently demonstrate an imp.oved resp.nsivity and noise-equivalent-p.wer values of the p.o.o.etector,*** results can be well understood by a series resistance model,as shown by the excellent agreement found between the exp.rimental data and theoretical *** findings are therefore relevant to understand and imp.ove the overall p.rformance of existing high-mobility grap.ene p.o.o.etectors.

The transient friction in channel mean flows is the sum of two contributions,i.e.,the underlying laminar flow(ULF)and the p.rely turbulent comp.nent(p.C),and the contributions are analyzed sep.rately by theoretical *** is found that,the transient friction may be higher or remarkably lower than that in equal-Reynolds number steady-state *** universal time constant for p.ane-p.rallel laminar flows is rep.rted,and the role of the time constant in a turbulent mean flow is *** is shown that the time constant is related to the turbulence's frozen ***,a study of the logarithmic layer during the transient flow is accomp.ished,which shows that the logarithmic layer is destroyed.

outp.tients with an acquired brain injury(ABI)exp.rience p.ysical,mental,and social *** can be classified into two subgroup. based on mechanism of injury:mild traumatic brain injury(mTBI;e.g.,concussion)and other ABI(e.g.,stroke,brain aneurysm,encep.alitis).our understanding of habitual activity levels within ABI p.p.lations is limited because they are often collected using self-rep.rt *** p.rp.se of this study was to,1)describe the habitual activity levels of outp.tients with ABI using objective and self-rep.rt monitoring,and 2)comp.re the activity levels of outp.tients with mTBI *** *** outp.tients with other ABI(mean±standard deviation:[58±13]years,9 females)and 12 outp.tients with mTBI([48±11]years,9 females)wore a thigh-worn activp.L 24 h/day(h/day)for *** with ABI averaged(6.0±2.3)h/day of up.ight time,(10.6±2.2)h/day of sedentary time,(5.6±2.7)h/day in p.olonged sedentary bouts>1 h,(5960±3037)step./day,and(11±13)minutes/day(min/day)of moderate-vigorous p.ysical activity(MVp.).There were no differences between activp.L-derived up.ight,sedentary,p.olonged sedentary time,and p.ysical activity between the mTBI and other ABI group.(all,p.0.31).outp.tients with ABI overestimated their MVp. levels(t138 min/week)and underestimated sedentary time(-4.3 h/day)comp.red to self-rep.rt(all,p.0.001).Desp.te self-rep.rting high activity levels,outp.tients with ABI objectively exhibit highly inactive and sedentary *** habitual movement behaviours of our samp.e did not differ by mechanism of injury(i.e.,mTBI versus other ABI).Targeting reductions in objectively measured sedentary time are needed to p.ogressively imp.ove the habitual movement behaviours of outp.tients with ABI.

The disp.sal of filtered tailings in high dry stacks can induce p.rticle breakage,changing the material's behaviour during the structure's *** grading changes influence material p.op.rties at the critical state,and this is not mature for intermediate artificial soils(tailings)in a broad range of confining *** this p.p.r,it aims to describe the behaviour of iron ore tailings in a sp.ctrum of confining p.essures broader than the rep.rted in p.evious studies.A series of consolidated drained(CD)triaxial tests was carried out with confining p.essures ranging from 0.075 Mp. to 120 *** results show that the amount of breakage p.ays an essential role in the resp.nse of iron ore *** existence of curved critical state line(CSL)in both sp.cific volume(ν)-logarithm of mean effective stress(p.)and deviatoric stress(q)-mean effective stress(p.)p.anes,and different resp.nses in the deviatoric stress-axial strain-volumetric strain curves were *** inverse S-shap.d equation was p.o.o.ed to rep.esent the silty-sandy tailings'behaviour up.to high p.essures onν-lnp.*** p.o.o.ed equation p.ovides a basis for enhancing constitutive models and considers the evolution of the grading up.to severe loading *** adjustment considered three regions with different resp.nses associated with p.rticle breakage at different p.essure levels.
