The combination of hydrogen/deuterium(H/D)formaldehyde-based isotop.c methyl labeling with solid-p.ase extraction and high-p.rformance liquid chromatograp.y–high resolution mass sp.ctrometry(Hp.C-HRMS)is a p.werful analytical solution for nontargeted analysis of trace-level amino-containing chemicals in water *** the huge amount of chemical information generated in Hp.C-HRMS analysis,identifying all p.ssible H/Dlabeled amino chemicals p.esents a significant challenge in data *** address this,we designed a streamlined data p.ocessing p.p.line that can automatically extract H/D-labeled amino chemicals from the raw Hp.C-HRMS data with high accuracy and ***,we develop.d a cross-correlation algorithm to correct the retention time shift resulting from deuterium isotop.c effects,which enables reliable p.iring of H-and D-labeled ***,we imp.emented several bioinformatic solutions to remove false chemical features generated by in-source fragmentation,salt adduction,and natural13C ***,we used a data mining strategy to construct the AMINES library that consists of over 38,000 structure-disjointed p.imary and secondary amines to facilitate p.tative comp.und ***,we integrated these modules into a freely available R p.ogram,*** rationale of each module was justified and its p.rformance tested using exp.rimental H/D-labeled chemical standards and authentic water *** further demonstrated the ap.lication of HDp.irFinder to effectively extract N-containing contaminants,thus enabling the monitoring of changes of p.imary and secondary N-comp.unds in authentic water *** is a reliable bioinformatic tool for rap.d p.ocessing of H/D isotop.c methyl labeling-based nontargeted analysis of water samp.es,and will facilitate a better understanding of N-containing chemical comp.unds in water.

Introduction: Cancer is a chronic debilitating disease that unnerves p.tients, communities, and nations. At some p.int in cancer p.tient’s disease exp.rience, chemotherap. is used, and the p.tient is exp.cted to adhere to treatment to imp.ove survival and quality of life. Methods: This multisite Cluster Randomized Trial (CRT) evaluated the effectiveness of mobile p.one Short Message Service (SMS) sup.ort on the adherence to treatment schedules among adult cancer p.tients in Kenya. Data was collected using questionnaires. Ethical ap.rovals were obtained from relevant Ethical Review Boards (ERBs). Results: The mean adherence was 83%. There was a significant difference between treatment arms in relation to the adherence. The intervention arm had a higher mean adherence difference, M = 3.913, 95% CI 2.632-5.193, t (402) = 6.006, p.≤ 0.001), with Cohen’s d = 0.60. Although not significant, (χp.2p.dd = 0.151, df = 1, p.= 2.064), more women were p.rfect adheres than males. p.rfect adherers were satisfied with SMS sup.ort (χp.2p.dd = 7.620, df = 1, p.= 0.06), were in the intervention arm (χp.2p.dd = 22.942, df = 1, p.≤ 0.001), and had trust in the care p.ovider (χp.2p.dd = 10.591 p.≤ 0.001). SMS sup.ort was not significant in the multivariate analysis but had an estimated effect size of 0.958 (z = 1.424, p.= 0.154, CI = 0.242-3.781), indicating that mean adherence was slightly better in the p.esence of the intervention. Conclusions: SMS-sup.ort intervention has demonstrated sup.riority in influencing adherence. Further, health system-related factors have a significant influence on the adherence to chemotherap. treatment. Interventions to re-design health systems that are resp.nsive to unmet care needs of cancer p.tients must be exp.ored. .

‘Selfie’taking was introduced to the common p.op.e by smartp.ones and has become a common p.actice across the globe in no *** technological advancement and the p.p.larity of smartp.ones,selfie-taking has grown rap.dly within a short *** light of the new trend set by the generation,this study aimed to exp.ore reasons for selfie-taking and selfie-p.sting on social media and their effects on the social and p.ychological lives of young adults.A p.rp.sive samp.ing method was adop.ed to select 20 Indian citizens,between 18 and 24 *** data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using thematic ***-taking and p.sting on social media give p.sitive feelings,and it acts as a mood modifier dep.ndent mostly on the favourability and feedback about the p.st which in turn affects emotions and self-satisfaction.

Introduction In Brazil,ap.roximately 5%are born with a congenital disorder,p.tentially fatal without *** study aims to evaluate the relationship.between gastrointestinal congenital malformation(GICM)mortality,health indicators,and socioeconomic factors in *** GICM admissions(Q39-Q45)between 2012 and 2019 were collected using national *** demograp.ics,socioeconomic factors,clinical management,outcomes,and the healthcare workforce density were also accounted *** Surgical Workforce density and the number of neonatal intensive care units in a region were extracted from national datasets and combined to create a clinical index termed'NeoSurg'.Socioeconomic variables were combined to create a socioeconomic index termed SocEcon'.Simp.e linear regression was used to investigate if the temp.ral changes of both indexes were *** correlation between mortality and the different indicators in Brazil was evaluated using p.arson's correlation *** Over 8 years,Brazil recorded 12804 GICM *** Southeast led with 6147 cases,followed by the Northeast(2660),South(1727),North(1427),and Midwest(843).The North and Northeast rep.rted the highest mortality,lowest NeoSurg,and SocEcon Index ***,mortality rates declined across regions from 7.7%(2012)to 3.9%(2019),a 51.7%*** North and Midwest exp.rienced the most substantial reductions,at 63%and 75%,*** significantly correlated with the indexes in nearly all regions(p.0.05).Conclusion Our study highlights the correlation between social determinants of health and GICM mortality in Brazil,using two novel indexes in the p.diatric *** findings p.ovide an op.ortunity to rethink and discuss new indicators that could enhance our understanding of our country and could lead to the develop.ent of necessary solutions to tackle existing challenges in Brazil and globally.

BACKGROUND Cheilectomy of the 1^(st)metatarsop.alangeal joint(MTp.)is one of the most common p.ocedures for the management of hallux ***,there is no consensus regarding outcomes following minimally invasive dorsal cheilectomy(MIDC)for the management of hallux *** To evaluate outcomes following MIDC for the management of hallux *** During November 2023,the p.bMed,EMBASE and Cochrane Library databases were systematically reviewed to identify clinical studies examining outcomes following MIDC for the management of hallux *** Six studies were *** total,348 p.tients(370 feet)underwent MIDC for hallux rigidus at a weighted mean follow-up.of 37.9±16.5 *** distribution of p.tients by Coughlin and Shurna's classification was recorded in 4 studies as follows:Ⅰ(58 p.tients,27.1%),Ⅱ(112 p.tients,52.3%),Ⅲ(44 p.tients,20.6%).Three studies p.rformed an additional 1^(st)MTp. arthroscop. and debridement following *** intra-articular bone debris was observed in 100%of p.tients in 1 *** weighted mean American orthop.dic foot and ankle society score imp.oved from a p.eop.rative score of 68.9±3.2 to a p.stop.rative score of *** comp.ication rate was 8.4%,the most common of which was p.rsistent joint p.in and ***-two failures(8.7%)were ***-three secondary p.ocedures(8.9%)were p.rformed at a weighted mean time of 8.6±3.2 months following the index *** This systematic review demonstrated imp.ovements in subjective clinical outcomes together with a moderate comp.ication rate following MIDC for the management of hallux rigidus at short-term follow-up.A moderate reop.ration rate at short-term follow-up.was *** marked heterogeneity between included studies and p.ucity of high quality comp.rative studies limits the generation of any robust conclusions.

The stable hydrogen isotop. in p.ecip.tation is an effective environmental tracer for climatic and hydrologic ***,accurate and high-p.ecision p.ecip.tation hydrogen isoscap.s are currently unavailable in *** this study,a data fusion method based on Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)is used to fuse the hydrogen isotop.c comp.sition(δ^(2)H_(p.)of observations and isotop.-equip.ed general circulation model(iGCM)simulations.A p.ecip.tation hydrogen isoscap. with a temp.ral resolution of monthly and a sp.tial resolution of 50-60 km is established for East China for the 1969-2017 *** to building the isoscap.,the p.rformance of three data fusion methods(DFMs)and two bias correction methods(BCMs)is *** results indicate that the CNN fusion method p.rforms the best with a correlation coefficient larger than 0.90 and root mean square error smaller than 10.5‰ when using observation as a *** fusion methods based on back p.op.gation and long short-term memory neural network p.rform similarly,while slightly outp.rforming the bias correction ***,the CNN method is used to generate the hydrogen isoscap.,and the temp.ral and sp.tial distribution characteristics of the hydrogen isotop. in p.ecip.tation are analyzed based on this *** generated isoscap. shows similar sp.tial and temp.ral distribution characteristics to *** general,the distribution p.ttern of δ^(2)H_(p. is consistent with the temp.rature effect in northern China,and consistent with the p.ecip.tation amount effect in southern *** trend of the δ^(2)H_(p. time series is consistent with that of observed p.ecip.tation and ***,the generated isoscap. effectively rep.oduces the observations,and has the characteristics of time continuity and relative sp.tial regularity,which can p.ovide valuable data sup.ort for tracking atmosp.eric and hydrological p.ocesses.
