Optimize. CUDA Imple.e.tation to Improve.the.Pe.formance.of Bundle.Adjustme.t Algorithm on GPUs

The.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm is a compute.inte.sive.algorithm, and many re.e.rche.s have.improve. its pe.formance.by imple.e.ting the.algorithm on GPUs. In the.pre.ious re.e.rch work, “Improving Accuracy and Computational Burde. of Bundle.Adjustme.t Algorithm using GPUs,” the.authors de.onstrate. first the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithmic pe.formance.improve.e.t by re.ucing the.me.n square.e.ror using an additional radial distorting parame.e. and e.plicitly compute. analytical de.ivative. and re.ucing the.computational burde. of the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm using GPUs. The.naïve.imple.e.tation of the.CUDA code. a spe.dup of 10× for the.large.t datase. of 13,678 came.as, 4,455,747 points, and 28,975,571 proje.tions was achie.e.. In this pape., we.pre.e.t the.optimization of the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm CUDA code.on GPUs to achie.e.highe. spe.dup. We.propose.a ne. data me.ory layout for the.parame.e.s in the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm, re.ulting in contiguous me.ory acce.s. We.de.onstrate.that it improve. the.me.ory throughput on the.GPUs, the.e.y improving the.ove.all pe.formance. We.also de.onstrate.an incre.se.in the.computational throughput of the.algorithm by optimizing the.CUDA ke.ne.s to utilize.the.GPU re.ource. e.fe.tive.y. A comparative.pe.formance.study of e.plicitly computing an algorithm parame.e. ve.sus using the.Jacobians inste.d is pre.e.te.. In the.pre.ious work, the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm faile. to conve.ge.for ce.tain datase.s due.to se.e.al block matrice. of the.came.as in the.augme.te. normal e.uation, re.ulting in rank-de.icie.t matrice.. In this work, we.ide.tify the.came.as that cause.rank-de.icie.t matrice. and pre.roce.s the.datase.s to e.sure.the.conve.ge.ce.of the.BA algorithm. Our optimize. CUDA imple.e.tation achie.e. conve.ge.ce.of the.Bundle.Adjustme.t algorithm in around 22 se.onds for the.large.t datase. compare.

本文开发了一种用于测量CCD和e.CCD(电子倍增CCD)芯片光电参数的测试系统。该测试系统通过自动模式或手动模式间的切换,测量器件的暗电流、读出放大器的响应度、电荷转移效率、电荷容量和其他参数。该测试系统可以针对不同规格和结构的CCD/e.CCD器件,实现CCD晶圆或封装好的成品的参数测试,实现576×288、640×512、768×576、1024×1024、1280×1024 CCD/e.CCD的测试和筛选。
