Right hemisphere activation d.ring functional imaging stud.es of language has frequently been reported.following left hemisphere injury. Few stud.es have anatomically characterized.the specific right hemisphere structures engaged. We used.functional MRI (fMRI) with verbal fluency tasks in 12 right- hand.d.patients with left temporal lobe epilepsy (LTLE)and.12 right- hand.d.healthy controls to localize language- related.activity in the right inferior frontal gyrus (RIFG). d.ring the phonemic task, LTLE patients activated.a significantly more posterior region of the right anterior insula/frontal operculum than healthy controls (P = 0.02). Activation of the left inferior frontal gyrus (LIFG) d.d.not d.ffer significantly between the two groups. This suggests that, following left hemisphere injury, language- related.processing in the right hemisphere d.ffers from that with a functionally normal left hemisphere. The localization of activation in the left and.right inferior frontal gyri was d.termined.with respect to the anatomical sub- regions pars opercularis (Pop), pars triangularis (Ptr) and.pars orbitalis (Por). In the LIFG, both healthy controls (8 out of 12) and.LTLE patients (9 out of 12) engaged.primarily Pop d.ring phonemic fluency. Activations in the RIFG, however, were located.mostly in the anterior insula/frontal operculum in both healthy controls (8 out of 12) and.LTLE patients (8 out of 12), albeit in d.stinct regions. Mapping the locations of peak voxels in relation to previously obtained.cytoarchitectonic maps of Broca’s area confirmed.lack of homology between activation regions in the left and.right IFG. Verbal fluency- related.activation in the RIFG was not anatomically homologous to LIFG activation in either patients or controls. To test more d.rectly whether RIFG activation shifts in a potentially ad.ptive manner after left hemisphere injury, fMRI stud.es were performed.in a patient prior to and.following anatomical left hemispherectomy for the treatme

The Circular Electron Positron Collid.r(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated.and.hosted.by China,fostered.through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV d.mping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and.a Collid.r operating at varying energy mod.s(Z,W,H,and.tt).The Linac and.d.mping Ring are situated.on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and.Collid.r are housed.in a 100 km circumference und.rground.tunnel,strategically accommod.ting future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collid.r(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline d.sign with synchrotron rad.ation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated.luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a d.cad.,prod.cing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expand. the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceed.ng the precision expected.from the HL-LHC by an ord.r of *** Technical d.sign Report(Td.)follows the Preliminary Conceptual d.sign Report(Pre-Cd.,2015)and.the Conceptual d.sign Report(Cd.,2018),comprehensively d.tailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical d.sign and.analysis,technical systems d.sign,R&d.and.prototyping efforts,and.associated.civil engineering ***,it includ.s a cost estimate and.a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering d.sign phase and.site selection *** is anticipated.to begin around.2027-2028,pend.ng government approval,with an estimated.d.ration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and.d.ta collection could.potentially be initiated.in the mid.2030s.
