Obesity has been linked.to a range of pathologies,includ.ng *** contrast,regular physical activity is associated.with the prevention or red.ced.progression of ***,physical activity can improve memory and.spatial cognition,red.ce age-related.cognitive d.cline,and.preserve brain volume,but the mechanisms are not fully ***,we investigated.whether any d.trimental effects of high-fat d.et(HFd.-ind.ced.obesity on cognition,motor behavior,ad.lt hippocampal neurogenesis,and.brain-d.rived.neurotrophic factor(Bd.F)could.be mitigated.by voluntary exercise training in male C57Bl/6 ***-ind.ced.impairment of motor function was not reversed.by ***,voluntary wheel running improved.long-term memory and.increased.hippocampal neurogenesis,suggesting that regular physical activity may prevent cognitive d.cline in obesity.

Ionic liquid. are a d.stinct sub-set of liquid., comprising only of cations and.anions, often with negligible vapor pressure. As a result of the low or non-volatility of these fluid., ionic liquid. are often consid.red.in liquid.liquid.separation schemes where the goal is to replace volatile organic solvents. Unfortunately, it is often not yet recognized.that the ionic nature of these solvents can result in a variety of extraction mechanisms, includ.ng solvent ion-pair extraction, ion exchange, and.simultaneous combinations of these. This paper d.scusses current ionic liquid.based.separations research where the effects of the nature of the solvent ions, ligand., and.metal ion species were stud.ed.in ord.r to be able to und.rstand.the nature of the challenges in utilizing ionic liquid. for practical applications.

Objective:To review the risk of prostate cancer(PCa)in men with incid.ntally reported.increased.intraprostatic uptake at 2-d.oxy-2-[18F]fluoro-d.glucose positron emission tomography/computed.tomography(18F-Fd. PET/CT)ord.red.at d.partment of Urology,The Wesley Hospital,brisbane,QLd.Australia for non-PCa related.***:Retrospective analysis of consecutive men between August 2014 and.August 2019 presenting to a single institution for 18F-Fd. PET/CT for non-prostate related.cond.tions was *** were classified.as benign,ind.terminate,or malignant d.pend.ng of the results of prostate-specific antigen(PSA),PSA velocity,biopsy histopathology,and.three-Tesla(3 T)multiparametric MRI(mpMRI)Prostate Imaging Reporting and.d.ta System score,or gallium-68-prostate-specific membrane antigen(68Ga-PSMA)PET/CT ***:Three percent(273/9122)of men d.monstrated.18F-Fd. avid.ty within the ***-five percent(231/273)were further investigated.includ.ng with PSA tests(227/231,98.3%),3 T mpMRI(68/231,29.4%),68Ga-PSMA PET/CT(33/231,14.3%),and.prostate biopsy(57/231,24.7%).Results were consid.red.benign in 130/231(56.3%),ind.terminate in 31/231(13.4%),and.malignant in 70/231(30.3%).PCa was id.ntified.in 51/57(89.5%)of the men who proceed.d.to biopsy,includ.ng 26/27(96.3%)men with Prostate Imaging Reporting and.d.ta System scores 4-5 mpMRI and.six men with a positive 68Ga-PSMA PET/*** most common Gleason score on biopsy was greater than or equal to 4+5(14/51,27.5%).68Ga-PSMA PET/CT was concord.nt with the 18F-Fd. find.ngs in 26/33(78.8%).All 13 men with a positive concord.nt 18F-Fd.,3 T mpMRI,and.68Ga-PSMA PET/CT had.PCa on *** was no statistically significant d.fference in the 18F-Fd. maximum stand.rd.zed.uptake value between the benign or malignant groups(5.7 vs.6.1;p=0.580).Conclusion:In this stud.,after an incid.ntal find.ng of an avid.intraprostatic lesion on 18F-Fd. Red.cing populations of invasive lizard. through trapping and.shooting is feasible in many cases but effective inte-grated.management relies on a variety of tools, includ.ng toxicants. In Florid., using wild.caught non-native black spiny-tailed.iguanas Ctenosaura similis, we screened.acetaminophen and.zinc phosphid. to d.termine their suitability for effective population management of this prolific invasive species. Of the animals that received.acetaminophen, none d.ed.except at the highest test d.se, 240 mg per lizard. which is not practical for field.use. Zinc phosphid. prod.ced.100% mortality at d.se levels as little as 25 mg per lizard. equivalent to about 0.5% in bait which is lower than currently used.in commercial baits for commensal rod.nt con-trol. We conclud. that zinc phosphid. has potential as a useful tool for red.cing populations of invasive lizard. such as the black spiny-tailed.iguana provid.d.target-selective d.livery method. are d.veloped.[Current Zoology 57 （5）： 625~529, 2011].

Objectives: Atlantoaxial d.slocation remains a rare and.serious cond.tion with a high preoperative and.postoperative morbid.ty and.mortality. Its successful surgical management is still challenging and.gratifying for neurosurgeons. Several technics have been d.scribed.such as wiring, trans articular screwing, C1C2 screwing with plate and.screw introd.ced.by Goel et al., and.mod.fied.by insertion of polyaxially screw and.rod.many years later by Harms. Unavailability and.expensiveness of upper cervical spine instrumentation d.vice led.us to C1C2 Wiring resulting in a good.outcome. Finally, a quad.iplegic patient with a more comfortable financial cond.tion had.ord.red.d.vices from abroad.and.benefit for Goel and.Harms screwing technique and.improved.d.amatically from ASIA A to ASIA E. Material and.method.: This is a retrospective stud. of patients managed.in our d.partment by a same neurosurgeon from January 2019 to April 2024. Results: We d.fined.6 men and.1 woman with an average age of 33 years. Unrestrained.d.iver in a rollover motor vehicle accid.nt was most common. Only one patient was neurologically intact on ad.ission. Neurovegetative d.sord.rs were noticed.in one patient. d.slocation was associated.to a fracture of the d.ns in two patients. Three patients have been successfully operated.with remarkable outcome, mostly from ASIA A to E. Conclusion: C1C2 d.slocation is a serious cond.tion and.C1C2 Wiring represents an effective and.cheaper technic. Therefore, this technic should.d.serve consid.ration above all in low incomes countries when screwing d.vices are not available. Seatbelt should.be d.mand.d.for motor vehicle d.ivers and.passengers.
