The purpose of this article is to analyze what professional emergency personnel learn during collaboration exercises and the benefits of what they have ***(n = 19) and semistructured interviews(n = 32) were carried out in conjunction with major exercises held in Sweden(2007–2012). The results show that exercises tend to be based on their own logic, which differs from actual events. Exercise participants believe that they mainly learn single-track, parallel, and pathdependent behavior. The exercises do not facilitate the use of cross-boundary activities. This means that learning, as well as benefits from the exercises for actual events, is limited. The exercises would be more appropriate if those participating had the opportunity to identify weaknesses,try alternative ways, and engage in comprehensive organizational analyses at the conclusion of the *** on the results of the study, alternative models for collaboration exercises are suggested, with elements that would better develop collaboration and contribute to learning.

Interspecific comparison of the flight performance between sparrowhawks and common buzzards migrating at the falsterbo peninsula： A radar study

In order to compare the two species＇ flight performance over the exposed and windy falsterbo Peninsula, where thermal conditions seldomly are very favorable, we used tracking radar to study flight parameters of sparrowhawks Accipiter ni- sus and common buzzards Buteo buteo during autumn migration. The results showed a clear difference between sparrowhawks and common buzzards in their flight altitudes and speeds, and in the wind conditions they encountered. Common buzzards had higher flight altitudes and were more selective of wind. flight altitude was negatively related to the wind speed, which was most pronounced for common buzzards. Sparrowhawks had higher mean air- and cross-country speeds than common buzzards. Air- speed was negatively related, whereas ground and cross-country speeds were positively related to the tailwind component for both raptors. The differences between sparrowhawks and buzzards could to a large degree be explained by a larger dependence on thermal soaring among the common buzzards; a strategy associated with selectivity for favourable thermal and wind conditions during migratory flight. An additional important explanation for the interspecific differences was the habit of the sparrowhawks to combine migratory flight with hunting for prey, which makes it prone to fly at lower altitudes and use flapping flight to a much larger degree than common buzzards which do not forage during their migratory passage of the falsterbo Peninsula [Current Zoo- logy 60（5）： 670-679, 2014].

A thermodynamic assessment of the Al-fe-Mn-Si quaternary system and its subsystems was performed by the Calphad method. first, the Al-fe-Si ternary description was deeply revised by considering the most recent experimental investigations and employing new models to ternary compounds. Significant improvements were made on the calculated liquidus projection over the entire compositional range, especially in the Al-rich corner. The Al-Mn-Si system was refined in the Al-rich region by adopting new models for the two ternary compounds, a-AlMnSi and β-AlMnSi. The extended solubility of the a-AlMnSi phase into the Al-fe-Mn-Si quaternary system was modeled to reproduce the phase equilibria in the Al-rich region. Special cares were taken in order to prevent a-AlMnSi from becoming stable in the Al-fe-Si ternary system. The obtained thermodynamic descriptions were then implemented into the TCAL database, and extensively validated with phase equilibrium calculations and solidification simulations against experimental data/information from commercial aluminum alloys. The updated TCAL database can reliably predict the phase formation in Al-fe-Si- and Al-fe-Mn-Si-based aluminum alloys.

Currently,in the era of big data and 5G communication technology,electromigration has become a serious reliability issue for the miniaturized solder joints used in microelectronic *** the effective charge number(Z*)is considered as the driving force for electromigration,the lack of accurate experimental values for Z* poses severe challenges for the simulation-aided design of electronic *** this work,a data-driven framework is developed to predict the Z* values of Cu and Sn species at the anode based LIQUID,Cu_(6)Sn_(5) intermetallic compound(IMC)and fCC phases for the binary Cu-Sn system undergoing electromigration at 523.15 *** growth rate constants(kem)of the anode IMC at several magnitudes of applied low current density(j=1×10^6 to 10×10^6A/m^2)are extracted from simulations based on a 1D multi-phase field model.A neural network employing Z* and j as input features,whereas utilizing these computed kemdata as the expected output is *** results of the neural network analysis are optimized with experimental growth rate constants to estimate the effective charge *** a negligible increase in temperature at low j values,effective charge numbers of all phases are found to increase with current density and the increase is much more pronounced for the IMC *** predicted values of effective charge numbers Z* are then utilized in a 2D simulation to observe the anode IMC grain growth and electrical resistance changes in the multi-phase *** the work consists of the aspects of experiments,theory,computation,and machine learning,it can be called the four paradigms approach for the study of electromigration in Pb-free *** a combination of multiple paradigms of materials design can be problem-solving for any future research scenario that is marked by uncertainties regarding the determination of material properties.

Why Languages Prefer Prohibitives

This paper deals with prohibitive markers, i.e., negative markers that are more or less dedicated to the expression of a prohibition. It documents the variety in the formal make-up of these markers and it confirms the earlier claims that they are frequent everywhere, with at least one exception, viz., Western Europe. four origins are discussed: prohibitive markers may derive from predicative constructions, they may appear as a side product of Jespersen’s cycle, they may derive from a univerbation of imperative and negative markers, and they may be borrowed. As explanation is offered as to why languages prefer to have prohibitive markers. It is argued that attempts to explain this preference in terms of morphosyntax are misguided. Instead a frequency-based semantic explanation is offered. The most frequent use of negatives are declarative, thereby inviting a static ‘it is not the case that’ paraphrase. It is important, however, to mark clearly that prohibitives are instances of a dynamic ‘let it be the case that’ appeal. The paper ends on a discussion of languages that do not employ prohibitive markers.

The form-stable paraffin/high-density polyethylene/expanded graphite/epoxy resin composite phase change materials(CPCMs),exhibiting suitable thermal properties,including low melting temperature,high conductivity and high phase change enthalpy,was developed in this ***,paraffin(PA)was utilized as a core ***-density polyethylene(HDPE)was utilized for the shape stabilization and preventing the PCMs *** graphite(EG)was used to increase its thermal conductivity and act also in the porous supporting *** resin(ER)was used to provide flexible encapsulated scaffold morphology and keep a highly tight network structure of the ***,the physical architecture,the chemical architecture and thermal behavior properties of specimens were investigated by using the spectroscopy and calorimetry *** scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and fourier transform infrared spectrometer fTIR tests have shown good uniformity structure and good compatibility of *** addition,the thermal conductivity tests revealed that the thermal conductivity of PA,initially 0.31 W/(m·K)improved up to 1.9 times by adding the 6 wt%mass fraction of EG in composite ***,the differential scanning calorimeter(DSC)measurements indicated that PA melting enthalpy,initially 231 J/g decreased up to 125 J/g with the increase of the amount of HDPE which was due to the limitation caused by the atomic network constructed by the base *** thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)and leakage-proof revealed the enhancement of the degradation of PA with the raise of amount of the HDPE into the ***,the proposed form-stable CPCMs are a great candidate for the thermal regulation and thermal energy storage employment.
