BACkGROUND Hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma(HSTCL)is a rare and aggressive peripheral T-cell lymphoma with historically dismal outcomes,representing less than one percent of non-Hodgkin *** its rarity,the true incidence of HSTCL is unknown and most data have been extrapolated through case *** the best of our knowledge,the largest and most up to date study addressing the epidemiology and outcomes of patients with HSTCL in the United States covered a period from 1996 to 2014,with a sample size of 122 *** To paint the most updated epidemiological picture of *** A total of 186 patients diagnosed with HSTCL,between 2000 and 2017,were ultimately enrolled in our study by retrieving data from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results *** analyzed demographics,clinical characteristics,and overall mortality(OM)as well as cancer-specific mortality(CSM)of *** with a P valuewere incorporated into the multivariate Cox model to determine the independent prognostic factors,with a hazard ratio of greater than 1 representing adverse prog-nostic *** Overall,the outlook for this rare malignancy is very *** this retrospective cohort study of the United States population,non-Hispanic blacks and the elderly had a higher *** data highlights the need for larger prospective studies to investigate factors associated with worse prognosis in one ethnic group,such as treatment delays,which have been shown to increase mortality in this racial/ethnic group for other cancers.

The improvement of microbial characterization has increased the comprehension of microbial population and their ability in the microbiological metal dissolution. Bioleaching processes have been expanded to use microorganisms for the recovery of metals from ores and wastes. This study introduces Palca mine tailings pond in Peru which turned into acid mine drainage (AMD). AMD is a source of microbial communities whose microorganisms may support the aqueous extractive metallurgy for metal recovery. Four samples of AMD were collected from different locations and the elemental characterization showed concentrations of metals, such as Cu, Zn, Al, Mn, and Fe. The pH of the samples showed variation between 1.9 - 6.8. Twenty-one microorganisms were isolated and selected according the cell morphology. 16s rRNA gene sequences identified five species of which three belong to the bacterial kingdom and two to the Fungi kingdom. Two of the bacterial species were ferrous ion oxidizing bacteria, identified as Acidithiobacillus ferriphilus and Acidithiobacillus ferridurans;and the other one a ferric ion reducing bacteria identified as Acidiphilium acidophilum. The fungi species identified were Rhodotorula sinensis and Exophiala xenobiotica, a filamentous fungus isolated for the first time from an AMD.

This paper reviews the latest research progress in the additive manufacturing(AM)process of 18%nickel maraging steels,which involves laser-based powder bed fusion(L-PBF),laser-based directed energy deposition(L-DED),and wire arc additive manufacturing(wAAM).The emphasis is on the defects,structure,and mechanical properties of the additive manufactured 18%nickel maraging *** first,this article outlines the influences of the processing parameters of AM techniques on the defects formed in the fabricated parts,in terms of the L-PBF and *** macrostructure and microstructure characteristics of as-built and heat-treated 18%nickel maraging steel are then described in ***,the mechanical properties of as-built and heat-treated 18%nickel maraging steel are assessed,such as their tensile,hardness,impact toughness,and fatigue ***,future directions for work on the AM of 18%nickel maraging steel are provided.

we study the quasinormal modes （QNMs） of a Schwarzschild black hole immersed in an electromagnetic （EM） universe. The immersed Schwarzschild black hole （ISBH） originates from the metric of colliding EM waves with double polarization [Class. Quantum Grav. 12, 3013 （1995）]. The perturbation equations of the scalar fields for the ISBH geometry are written in the form of separable equations. we show that these equations can be transformed to the confluent Heun＇s equations, for which we are able to use known techniques to perform analytical quasinormal （QNM） analysis of the solutions. Furthermore, we employ numerical methods （Mashhoon and 6^th-order wentzel- kramers-Brillouin （wkB）） to derive the QNMs. The results obtained are discussed and depicted with the appropriate plots.

This paper analyses the life-cycle dynamics of zombie companies-broadly defined as businesses that are consistently unable to meet their interest expenses from current profits-amongst listed firms in China over the period 2008-2019.A large share of zombie companies subsequently return to nonzombie *** proportion is higher for firms undergoing a major restructuring event,low leverage levels,and with smaller operating expense ***,zombie firms that return to nonzombie status continue to have lower levels of profitability compared with their industry peers and have a higher probability of relapsing into zombie status compared with firms that have never been classified as *** efforts to revive zombie companies using major restructuring events appear insufficient in overcoming the longer term scarring effects of zombification on firms'*** results highlight the potential benefits of the ongoing efforts by Chinese regulators to improve the delisting process.
