AIM:To study,whether the association of Schatzki rings with other esophageal disorders support one of the theories about its ***:From 1987 until 2007,all patients with newly diagnosed symptomatic Schatzki rings (SRs) were prospectively registered and *** of them underwent structured interviews with regards to clinical symptoms,as well as endoscopic and/or radiographic *** and radiographic studies determined the presence of an SR and additional morphological ***:One hundred and sixty-seven patients (125 male,42 female) with a mean age of 57.1±14.6 years were *** patients complained of intermittent dysphagia for solid food and 113 (79.6%) patients had a history of food *** experienced symptoms for a mean of 4.7±5.2 years before *** in 23.4% of the 64 patients who had endoscopic and/or radiological examinations before their first presentation to our clinic,was the SR previously *** presentation,the mean ring diameter was 13.9±4.97 *** hundred and sixty-two (97%) patients showed a sliding hiatal *** reflux esophagitis was found in 47 (28.1%) ***-six (15.6%) of 167 patients showed single or multiple esophageal webs;five (3.0%) patients exhibited eosinophilic esophagitis;and four (2.4%) had esophageal *** (7%) of 57 patients undergoing esophageal manometry had nonspecific esophageal motility ***:Schatzki rings are frequently associated with additional esophageal disorders,which support the assumption of a multifactorial *** typical symptoms,SRs might be overlooked.

Eggs of Ephestia kuehniella and Ceratitis capitata, and motile stages of the astigmatid mites Tyrophagus putrescentiae and Carpoglyphus lactis as factitious foods for Orius spp.

Several factitious foods were assessed for rearing the anthocorid predators Orius thripoborus （Hesse） and Orius naivashae （Poppius）（Hemiptera： Anthocoridae） in the laboratory. Developmental and reproductive traits of both Orius species were examined when offered frozen eggs of the Mediterranean flour moth, Ephestia kuehniella Zeller, frozen processed eggs of the medfly, Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann, or mixed motile stages of the astigmatid mites Tyrophagusputrescentiae （Schrank） or Carpoglyphus lactis （L）. Whereas C. lactis and T. putresecentiae proved to be an inferior food for rearing O. thripoborus and O. naivashae, eggs of C. capitata fully supported development and reproduction of both predators. Results on medfly eggs were similar or slightly inferior to those on E. kuehniella eggs, which is the standard food for culturing these anthocorid bugs. O. thripoborus could be maintained for 4 consecutive generations on C. capitata eggs indicating that processed medfly eggs can be a suitable and cheaper alternative to E. kuehniella eggs for prolonged rearing of these Orius spp.

The locus coeruleus(LC) has been studied in major depressive disorder(MDD) and bipolar disorder(BD). A major problem of immunocytochemical studies in the human LC is interference with the staining of the immunocytochemical end-product by the omnipresent natural brown pigment neuromelanin. Here, we used a multispectral method to untangle the two colors: blue immunocytochemical staining and brown *** found significantly increased tyrosine hydroxylase(TH) in the LC of MDD patients—thus validating the method—but not in BD patients, and we did not find significant changes in the receptor tyrosine-protein kinase ErbB4 in the LC in MDD or BD patients. We observed clear co-localization of ErbB4, TH, and neuromelanin in the LC neurons. The different stress-related molecular changes in the LC may contribute to the different clinical symptoms in MDD and BD.

间作种植形成了异质冠层空间结构,但因此导致的作物生长、表型和光截获的行间差异目前还少有定量化。为解析条带间作生产力的行间差异,本研究基于田间观测数据构建植物功能-结构模型(Functional-Structural Plant Model,FSPM),量化间作系统中光截获的行间差异。于2017—2018年开展了玉米和大豆单作、2行玉米和2行大豆的2:2 MS间作以及3行玉米和6行大豆的3:6 MS间作田间试验。基于植物生长平台GroIMP开发了玉米-大豆间作的FSPM,模型较好地模拟了叶面积指数(Leaf Area Index,LAI)、株高和光截获系数动态三个指标,均方根误差(Root Mean Square Error,RMSE)分别为0.24~0.70 m^(2)/m^(2)、0.06~0.17 m和0.06~0.10。田间试验结果表明,间作种植显著增加了玉米节间直径。受玉米遮阴影响,大豆节间变长、变细,且随大豆条带变窄差异越明显。模型模拟的2:2 MS间作玉米光截获比单作玉米高35.6%,3:6 MS边行玉米和内行玉米的光截获分别比单作玉米高27.8%和20.3%。2:2 MS与3:6 MS边行大豆的光截获比单作大豆分别少36.0%和28.8%;3:6 MS大豆内Ⅰ行和内Ⅱ行比单作大豆的光截获分别少4.1%和1.8%。基于三维FSPM,未来可进行不同生长环境下间作种植模式等的布局优化,以达到最佳系统光截获优势。

目的吡咯西里啶生物碱(PyrrolizidineAlkodias,PAs)是天然存在于植物中的次级代谢产物,对人体具有肝毒性。调查发现,PAs广泛存在于植物源性农产品中,对人体健康造成潜在的危害。目前,已有600多种PAs从超6000种植物中鉴定出来,但因缺乏毒理学数据,制约了膳食暴露评估工作的开展。本研究以毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林为研究对象,建立生理药代动力学模型(physiologically based kinetic modelling,PBk)将毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林的体外肝细胞毒性数据转化为体内肝毒性数据,并预测出其体内肝毒性阈值。材料和方法针对毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林分别构建总体积为100μL的肝脏/小肠微粒体反应体系。经过对反应时间、底物浓度和微粒体蛋白浓度的优化,毛果天芥菜碱体外动力学反应体系包括:0.1 M k2HPO4(pH 7.4),混合大鼠肝脏/小肠微粒体(0.04 mgprotein/mL),毛果天芥菜碱(0-200μM);瑞德林的体外动力学反应体系包括:0.1M k2HPO4(pH 7.4),混合大鼠肝脏/小肠微粒体(0.5mgprotein/mL),瑞德林(0-400μM)。加入20 mM NADPH启动整个反应,利用ACN结束反应。UPLC检测毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林的浓度变化,再根据米氏方程计算出两者的体外动力学参数。此外,通过文献查阅和基于定量构效(QSAR)的方法,获取大鼠的生理学参数以及毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林的理化参数。基于获取的动力学参数、理化参数和大鼠的生理学参数建立PBk模型。结果通过与瑞德林的动物毒性实验进行对比,本项目建立的PBk模型预测出的瑞德林在小鼠体内的Cmax值与动物实验所得到的Cmax值只相差3倍。利用所建立的PBk模型,将毛果天芥菜碱和瑞德林的体外肝毒性数据进行外推,预测出的毛果天芥菜碱的BMDL5值与实际动物实验只有1.9-2.9倍的差距,说明本研究所建立的PBk模型能准确的预测出PAs的体内肝毒性。结论和意义动物毒性实验具有耗时长、花销大等缺点,而传统的体外毒性实验存在高-低剂量外推、种间差异和无法模拟化合物动力学过程等诸多不确定因素,难以准确预测化合物的体内毒性。通过构建化合物的PBk模型,能将体外毒性数据进行外推,实现对化合物体内毒性的准确预测,对减少动物的使用和坚持3R原则具有重要的意义。

Why High-Speed Railway Stations Continue China's Leapfrog Urbanization:Institutional Parameters of Urban Development

An ambitious program of High-Speed Railway (HSR) is under construction in China and already soon the network will overtake its counterparts in Europe. Reflecting on experiences in Europe, the authors explore the conditions for place making qualities of six new HSR station areas in China. The superb inter-city connectivity of the new infrastructure nodes raises a lot of expectations about the economic and social potential of the station areas, but the experiences in Europe thus far are very differentiated. With regards to the attraction of economic activities usually the existing differences between different economic regions are reproduced rather than shaping completely new conditions. Also the expectations of developing completely new integrated urban centers around stations in the urban periphery are rather ambitious. The paper questions the planning responses to HSR development in Chinese cities and investigates the institutional conditions that frame these responses. The authors explore how the plans for Chinese HSR station development account for their objectives and reflect on the potential of the station area planning by investigating the institutional parameters of urban development.

Model-Based Quantification of Load Shift Potentials and Optimized Charging of Electric Vehicles

Managing the charging process of a large number of electric vehicles to decrease the pressure on the local electricity grid is of high interest to the utilities. Using efficient mathematical optimization techniques, the charging behavior of electric vehicles shall be optimally controlled taking into account network, vehicle, and customer requirements. We developed an efficient algorithm for calculating load shift potentials defined as the range of all charging curves meeting the customer’s requirements and respecting all individual charging and discharging constraints over time. In addition, we formulated a mixed integer linear program (MIP) applying semi-continuous variables to find cost-optimal load curves for every vehicle participating in a load shift. This problem can be solved by e.g. branch-and-bound algorithms. Results of two scenarios of Germany in 2015 and 2030 based on mobility studies show that the load shifting potential of EV is significant and contribute to a necessary relaxation of the future grid. The maximum charging and discharging power and the average battery capacity are crucial to the overall load shift potential.
