There is a lack of appropriate guidelines for realistic user traces, mobility models, routing protocols, considerations of real-life challenges, etc. for general-purpose mobile ad hoc networks （MANET）. In this paper, four laptops are used in an open field environment in four scenarios to evaluate the performances of Internet control message protocol （ICMP） based ping and transmission control protocol （TCP） based streaming video applications using optimised link state routing （OLSR） implementation in an IEEE 802.11g wireless network. Corresponding simulations are developed in Network Simulator ns-2 by setting simulation parameters according to the real experiments. Difficulties faced to regenerate real-life scenarios have been discussed and the gaps between reality and simulation are identified. A setup guideline to produce realistic simulation results has been established.

In standard iris recognition systems,a cooperative imaging framework is employed that includes a light source with a near-infrared wavelength to reveal iris texture,look-and-stare constraints,and a close distance requirement to the capture *** these conditions are relaxed,the system’s performance significantly deteriorates due to segmentation and feature extraction ***,a novel segmentation algorithm is proposed to correctly detect the pupil and limbus boundaries of iris images captured in unconstrained ***,the algorithm scans the whole iris image in the Hue Saturation Value(HSV)color space for local maxima to detect the sclera *** image quality is then assessed by computing global features in red,green and blue(RGB)space,as noisy images have heterogeneous *** iris images are accordingly classified into seven categories based on their global RGB *** the classification process,the images are filtered,and adaptive thresholding is applied to enhance the global contrast and detect the outer iris ***,to characterize the pupil area,the algorithm scans the cropped outer ring region for local minima values to identify the darkest area in the iris *** experimental results show that our method outperforms existing segmentation techniques using the UBIRIS.v1 and v2 databases and achieved a segmentation accuracy of 99.32 on UBIRIS.v1 and an error rate of 1.59 on UBIRIS.v2.

The Qom Formation is the most important hydrocarbon reservoir target in Central *** Qom platform developed in a back-arc basin during the Oligo-Miocene due to the closing of the Tethyan *** formation consists of a variety of carbonate and non-carbonate facies deposited on a platform ranging from supratidal to basin.A combination of tectonic and eustatic events led to some lateral and vertical facies variations in the study *** third-order depositional sequences and related surfaces were identified regarding vertical facies changes in the studied sections of this Oligo-Miocene *** to all results and data,this succession was initially deposited during the Chattian upon a distally steepened ramp of siliciclastic-carbonate composition,including the Bouma ***,from the late Chattian to the Aquitanian,the platform changed into a homoclinal carbonate ramp with a gentle *** respect to tectonic activity,this phase was a calm period during the deposition of the Qom ***,a drowned carbonate platform and a rimmed shelf emerged during the Burdigalian,terminated by the continental deposits of the Upper Red *** all geological characteristics,three main tectono-eustatic evolutionary phases have been recognized in the Qom back-arcbasin.

The continual growth of the use of technological appliances during the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a massive volume of data flow on the Internet,as many employees have transitioned to working from ***,with the increase in the adoption of encrypted data transmission by many people who tend to use a Virtual Private Network(VPN)or Tor Browser(dark web)to keep their data privacy and hidden,network traffic encryption is rapidly becoming a universal *** affects and complicates the quality of service(QoS),traffic monitoring,and network security provided by Internet Service Providers(ISPs),particularly for analysis and anomaly detection approaches based on the network traffic’s *** method of categorizing encrypted traffic is one of the most challenging issues introduced by a VPN as a way to bypass censorship as well as gain access to geo-locked ***,an efficient approach is especially needed that enables the identification of encrypted network traffic data to extract and select valuable features which improve the quality of service and network management as well as to oversee the overall *** this paper,the classification of network traffic data in terms of VPN and non-VPN traffic is studied based on the efficiency of time-based features extracted from network ***,this paper suggests two machine learning models that categorize network traffic into encrypted and non-encrypted *** proposed models utilize statistical features(SF),Pearson Correlation(PC),and a Genetic Algorithm(GA),preprocessing the traffic samples into net flow traffic to accomplish the experiment’s *** GA-based method utilizes a stochastic method based on natural genetics and biological evolution to extract essential *** PC-based method performs well in removing different features of network *** a microsecond perpacket prediction time,the best model achieved an accuracy of more than 95.02 percent in

Sprouts are ready-to-eat and are recognized worldwide as functional components of the human *** advances in innovative agricultural techniques could enable an increase in the production of healthy *** use of light-emitting diode(LED)in indoor agricultural production could alter the biological feedback loop,increasing the functional beneﬁts of plant foods such as wheat and lentil sprouts and promoting the bioavailability of *** effects of white(W),red(R),and blue(B)light were investigated on the growth parameters and nutritional value of wheat and lentil *** the laboratory,seeds were sown under three different LED treat-ments:white,red,and blue light,while normal incandescent light served as a *** seed germina-tion improved by 18.34%and 12.67%for wheat and 18.34%and 12.67%for lentil sprouts under LED treatments R and B,*** increase in total soluble protein and sugar by 33.4%and 9.23%in wheat and by 31.5%and 5.87%in lentils was observed under the R LED *** C concentrations in wheat and lentils were signiﬁcantly increased by R LED compared to all other *** parameters,including potassium and sodium concentrations,were signiﬁcantly increased under red and blue light compared to the control;white light,on the other hand,signiﬁcantly decreased all these *** to the experimental data,red and blue LED light could be beneﬁcial in the production of functional wheat and lentil sprouts with high nutrient concentrations.

The goal of this paper is to discover modern soliton solutions to long and short-wave interaction system by procedures called extended rational sine-cosine and rational sinh-cosh *** assume that the equation has a hypothetical soliton *** reorganizing the resulting equations,we obtain a system of *** Maple software,we get unknown coefficients in the system and writing them in the original equation,we obtain new solition solutions of the *** results show that the soliton solutions generated by the method for the long and short-wave interaction system are bright,kink type,bright periodic and dark *** provided 3-D figures to illustrate the *** results indicate that the method employed in this paper is superior than some other methods used in the literature to solve the same system equations.

Recently,medical data classification becomes a hot research topic among healthcare professionals and research communities,which assist in the disease diagnosis and decision making *** latest developments of artificial intelligence(AI)approaches paves a way for the design of effective medical data classification *** the same time,the existence of numerous features in the medical dataset poses a curse of dimensionality *** resolving the issues,this article introduces a novel feature subset selection with artificial intelligence based classification model for biomedical data(FSS-AICBD)*** FSS-AICBD technique intends to derive a useful set of features and thereby improve the classifier ***,the FSS-AICBD technique undergoes min-max normalization technique to prevent data *** addition,the information gain(IG)approach is applied for the optimal selection of feature ***,group search optimizer(GSO)with deep belief network(DBN)model is utilized for biomedical data classification where the hyperparameters of the DBN model can be optimally tuned by the GSO *** choice of IG and GSO approaches results in promising medical data classification *** experimental result analysis of the FSS-AICBD technique takes place using different benchmark healthcare *** simulation results reported the enhanced outcomes of the FSS-AICBD technique interms of several measures.
