The advantages and promoting applications of the microgrids community(MGC)allows for a critical step being taken toward a smart *** energy management strategy(EMS)is essential to intelligently coordinate the operations of the *** paper presents a multi-time-scale EMS consid-ering battery operational modes for grid-connected *** proposed strategy consists of two modules:day-ahead integrated optimization and realtime distributed *** first module aims to minimize the operational cost of the MGC considering battery free-overcharging *** problem is solved by the mixed integer linear programming(MILP)sim-ulating two charging/discharging modes:limited-current mode and constant-voltage *** second module is installed in local MGs to correct the optimizing deviations of the day-ahead static scheduling,which are caused by predicting errors of renewable energy and *** main contribution of this work is integrating the advantages of global optimization of the centralized method and the fast computing speed of the distributed *** results prove the proposed EMS is feasible and *** computing time at each updating step is reduced by 75%on average,which has the potential to be adopted in engineering.

A method based on micellar liquid chromatography has been developed to simultaneously monitor four pesticides largely post-harvest applied to citrus：thiabendazole,pyrimethanil,o-phenylphenol and *** samples were filtered and directly injected without other treatment,thus avoiding extraction *** composition of the mobile phase was optimized using a chemometrical approach to achieve and excellent resolution to 0.07 mol/L SDS/5%,V/V 1-pentanol buffered at p H *** phase run through a C18 column at 1 m L/min at room *** detection was performing by UV–Visible absorbance using a wavelength program：0–10 min,305 nm（for thiabendazole）;10–12;265 nm（for pyrimethanil）and 12–18,220 nm（o-phenylphenol and imazalil）.The developed method was validated following the guidelines of the US Environmental Protection Agency in terms of：quantitation range,（0.5–4 to 15μg/m L）,linearity（r2〉0.9995）,sensitivity（LOD,0.18–1.4μg/m L）,precision（〈9.2%）,trueness（93.9%–103.7%）,and ruggedness（〈9.9%）.It was found that the fungicides remain up to eight days in surface water at outdoor *** method was used to screen the presence of the analytes in several waste water samples,and was proved to be useful in routine analysis.

Predatory mites of the Phytoseiidae family are considered one of the most important groups of natural enemies used in biological *** behavioral patterns of arthropods can differ greatly daily and seasonally;however,there is a lack of literature related to Phytoseiidae diel and seasonal predation *** predatory activity of three phytoseiid species (two Tetranychidae-specialists,Phytoseiuluspersimilis and Neoseiulus californicus,and one omnivore,Euseius stipulatus)that occur naturally in Spanish citrus orchards was observed under laboratory conditions in winter and *** temperature and photoperiod of the climatic chamber where the mites were reared did not change during the *** study demonstrates that phytoseiids can exhibit diel and seasonal predatory patterns when feeding on Tetranychus urticae (Acari:Tetranychidae).Neoseiulus californicus was revealed to be a nocturnal predator in summer but diurnal in *** contrast,*** activity was maximal during the daytime,and *** showed no clear daily predation *** predatory patterns described in this study should be taken into account when designing laboratory studies and also in field samplings,especially when applying molecular techniques to unveil trophic relationships.

Parallel operation of distributed generation is an important topic for microgrids, which can provide a highly reliable electric supply service and good power quality to end customers when the utility is unavailable. However, there is a well-known limitation： the power sharing accuracy between distributed generators in a parallel operation. Frequency and voltage droop is a well-established control method for improving power sharing performance. In this method, the active and reactive power calcu- lations are used to adjust the frequency and amplitude of the output voltage. This paper describes the digital implementation of a droop method, and analyzes the influence of power calculation on droop method performance. According to the analysis, the performance of droop control in a digital control system is limited by the accuracy and speed of the power calculation method. We propose an improved power calculation method based onp-q theory to improve the performance of the droop control method, and we compare our new method with two traditional power calculation methods. Finally, simulation results and experimental results from a three single-phase l-kW-inverter system are presented, which validate the performance of our proposed method.

Species introduced to habitats outside their native range often escape control by their natural *** competing with native species,an alien species might also affect the native herbivores by introducing a new source of different quality ***,we describe the case of northern red oak(Quercus rubra)invasion in *** collected data on insect(moth Cydia *** weevil Curculio spp.)seed predation of northern red oak in its native(USA,North America)and invasive(Poland,Europe)range,as well as for sessile oaks(Quercus petrea)in *** also evaluated the quality of acorns as hosts for weevil larvae by collecting infested acorns and measuring weevil developmental success,and quantifying acorn traits such as seed mass,tannins,lipids and protein *** used DNA barcoding to identify insects to the species *** predation by moths was similar and very low in both species and in both ***,red oaks escape pre-dispersal seed predation by weevils in *** infestation rates of northern red oak acorns in their invasive range were 10 times lower than that of sessile oaks,and also 10 times lower than that of red oaks in North ***,even when weevils oviposited into northern red oaks,the larvae failed to develop,suggesting that the exotic host created a trap for the *** phenomenon might gradually decrease the local abundance of the seed predator,and further aid the invasion.

This paper firstly presents an equivalent coupling circuit modeling of multi-parallel inverters in microgrid operating in grid-connected mode. By using the model, the coupling resonance phenomena are explicitly investigated through the mathematical approach, and the intrinsic and extrinsic resonances exist widely in *** the inverter own reference current, other inverters reference current, and grid harmonic voltage, the distributions of resonance peaks with the growth in the number of inverters are obtained. Then, an active damping control parameter design method is proposed to attenuate coupling resonance, and the most salient feature is that the optimal range of the damping parameter can be easily located through an initiatively graphic method. Finally,simulations and experiments verify the validity of the proposed modeling and method.

Hybrid AC/DC distribution networks are promising candidates for future applications due to their rapid advancement in power electronics *** use interface converters(IFCs)to link DC and AC distribution ***,the networks possess drawbacks with AC voltage and frequency offsets when transferring from grid-tied to islanding *** address these problems,this paper proposes a simple but effective strategy based on the reverse droop ***,the power balance equation of the distribution system is derived,which reveals that the cause of voltage and frequency offsets is the mismatch between the IFC output power and the rated load ***,the reverse droop control is introduced into the IFC *** using a voltage-active power/frequency-reactive power(U-P/f-Q)reverse droop loop,the IFC output power enables adaptive tracking of the rated load ***,the AC voltage offset and frequency offset are suppressed during the transfer process of operational *** addition,the universal parameter design method is discussed based on the stability limitations of the control system and the voltage quality requirements of AC critical ***,simulation and experimental results clearly validate the proposed control strategy and parameter design method.

BACKGROUND Benzylamine(Bza)oral administration delays the onset of hyperglycemia in insulin-resistant db-/-mice;a genetic model of obesity and type 2 *** To extend the antihyperglycemic properties of oral benzylamine to a model of insulin-deficient type 1 *** Male Swiss mice were rendered diabetic by streptozotocin treatment(STZ)and divided in two groups:one received 0.5%Bza as drinking solution for 24 d(STZ Bza-drinking)while the other was drinking water ad *** groups were constituted in age-matched,nondiabetic *** intake,liquid intake,body weight gain and nonfasting blood glucose levels were followed during *** the end of treatment,fasted glycemia,liver and white adipose tissue(WAT)mass were measured,while glucose uptake assays were performed in *** STZ diabetic mice presented typical features of insulin-deficient diabetes:reduced body mass and increased blood glucose *** altered parameters were not normalized in the Bza-drinking group in spite of restored food and water *** consumption could not reverse the severe fat depot atrophy of STZ diabetic *** the nondiabetic mice,no difference was found between control and Bza-drinking mice for any *** isolated adipocytes,hexose uptake was partially activated by 0.1 mmol/L Bza in a manner that was obliterated in vitro by the amine oxidase inhibitor phenelzine and that remained unchanged after Bza *** of 0.1 mmol/L Bza in WAT was lower in STZ diabetic than in normoglycemic *** Bza supplementation could not normalize the altered glucose handling of STZ diabetic mice with severe WAT ***,its antidiabetic potential in obese and diabetic rodents does not apply to lipoatrophic type 1 diabetic mice.
