Self-excited oscillating jets(SOJ)are used in several practical *** performances are significantly affected by structural parameters and the target *** this study,a geometric model of the SOJ nozzle accounting for multiple structural parameters is introduced,then the related cavitation performances and the optimal target distance are investigated using a Large-Eddy Simulation(LES)*** are also provided about an experiment,which was conducted to validate the simulation *** analyzing the evolution of the vapor volume fraction at the nozzle outlet,a discussion is presented about the effect of the aforementioned structural parameters on the cavitation performances and the target *** is shown that the distribution of cavitation clouds at the outlet of the SOJ nozzle displays a non-monotonic trend(first increasing,then decreasing).Under working conditions with an inlet pressure of 4 MPa,a SOJ nozzle outlet/inlet diameter ratio(D_(1)/D_(2))of 1.2.and a chamber diameter ratio(D/L)close to 1.8,the nozzle outlet cavitation performance attains a *** optimal structural parameters correspond to the optimal target distance,which is near 50 *** experiments have revealed that the SOJ nozzle with the above parameters displays a good cavitation erosion effect at the target distance of 50 mm,in satisfactory agreement with the numerical simulation results.

This study delves into the intricate relationship between iron(Fe)content in kaolinite and its impact on the adsorption behavior of sodium *** effects of different iron concentrations on adsorption energy,hydrogen bond kinetics and adsorption efficiency were studied through simulation and experimental *** results show that the presence of iron in the kaolinite structure significantly improves the adsorption capacity of sodium *** samples with high iron content have better adsorption properties,lower adsorption energy levels and shorter and stronger hydrogen bonds than pure *** optimal concentration of oleic acid ions for achieving maximum adsorption efficiency was identified as 1.2.mmol/L across different kaolinite *** this concentration,the adsorption rates and capacities reach their peak,with Fe-enriched kaolinite samples exhibiting notably higher flotation recovery *** optimal concentration represents a balance between sufficient oleic acid ion availability for surface interactions and the prevention of self-aggregation phenomena that could hinder *** study offers promising avenues for optimizing the flotation process in mineral processing applications.

Ground lifetime test is the most crucial experiment to assess the performance,*** flight qualification of electric propulsion,and it can bring new insights for understanding the operation *** work demonstrates a full lifetime test of 140000 cycles on a Micro-Cathode-Arc Thruster(μCAT)with 160μs charging time and 86 mJ charging energy.A four-probe resistivity measurement method is utilized to investigate variations in the conductive film thickness and resistivity throughout the thruster *** film parameters show that the lifetime of theμCAT can be divided into three *** the initial stage,the film thickness decreases by 1.2.m and the resistivity increases significantly due to the high discharge intensity and intense film ablation;In the steady stage,the change of the film thickness is within 5%,and the resistivity of the film increases slowly from 0.050Ω·mm to 0.223Ω·*** the end stage,the resistivity exponentially increases from 0.223Ω·mm to 1.176Ω·mm,with the increase accounting for 81%,ultimately resulting in the failure of the thruster open ***,the evolution of discharge parameters,and the variation of plume parameters are measured throughout the *** discharge characteristics also show significant differences in the duration of voltage and current in these three *** results of plume shape and plasma parameters are also well con-sistent with the discharge parameters and film *** results suggest that,for evaluating the steady stage lifetime of thrusters,the film thickness is the best indicator compared to the variations in resistivity and voltage-current *** the end stage,the plasma plume *** duration,and plume parameters can conveniently and clearly characterize the thruster failures and irregularity.

The poor interfacial contact is one of the biggest challenges that solid-state lithium batteries suffer *** the solid-state electrolyte surface energy by transforming the interface from lithiophobic to lithiophilic is effective to promote the interfacial contact, but electronic conductive interphases usually increase the risk of electron attack, thus leading to uncontrollable Li dendrite growth. Herein, we propose a self-assembled thermodynamic stable Li I interphase to simultaneously improve the interfacial contact between the garnet electrolyte Li_7La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(LLZO) and Li anode, and prohibit the electron attack. The direct contact between LLZO and Li and the high temperature Li melting process was ascribed to Zr4+reduction, which facilitated Li dendrite formation and propagation. With the modification of the high lithiophilic I_(2) thin film, the area specific interfacial resistance of LLZO/Li was reduced from 1.2. Ω/cm^(2) to 57 Ω/cm^(2). More importantly, LLZO was protected from being reduced due to the outstanding electronic insulativity of the Li I interphase, which leaded to a high critical current density of 1.2.7.0 m A/cm^(2) in the time/capacity-constant modes, respectively.

A composite material comprising a carbon layer and spherical carbon/carbon cloth(C-SC/CC)was fabricated using a hydrothermal-pyrolysis method,employing carbon cloth as the substrate and glucose as the carbon *** C-SC/CC electrode was evaluated as an electrocatalytic electrode for hydrogen production by electrolysis of Bunsen reaction *** electrode prepared with 4 g of glucose and annealed at 800°C showed excellent electrocatalytic *** requires only a potential of 185 mV(***)to achieve a current density of 10 mA/***,the electrode demonstrated good stability with a 6%loss in current density after 1000 cycles of scanning from 0.2 V to 1.2.*** results indicate the potential of the SC/CC electrode as an efficient and durable electrocatalyst for the electrolysis of H2SO4 and HI.

This study quantified the regional damages resulting from temperature and sea level changes using the Regional Integrated of Climate and Economy(RICE)model,as well as the effects of enabling and disabling the climate impact module on future emission *** highlight varied damages depending on regional economic development and ***,China and Africa could suffer the most serious comprehensive damages caused by temperature change and sea level rise,followed by India,other developing Asian countries(OthAsia),and other high-income countries(OHI).The comprehensive damage fractions for China and Africa are projected to be 15.1%and 12.5%of gross domestic product(GDP)in 2195,with corresponding cumulative damages of 124.0 trillion and 87.3 trillion United States dollars(USD)from 2005 to 2195,***,the comprehensive damage fractions in Japan,Eurasia,and Russia are smaller and projected to be lower than 5.6%of GDP in 2195,with cumulative damages of 6.8 trillion,4.2 trillion,and 3.3 trillion USD,***,coastal regions like Africa,the European Union(EU),and OHI show comparable damages for sea level rise and temperature *** China,however,sea level-induced damages are projected to exceed those from temperature ***,this study indicates that switching the damage modules on or off affects the regional and global emission trajectories,but the magnitude is relatively *** 2195,global emissions under the experiments with all of the damage modules switched off,only the sea level damage module switched on,and only the temperature damage module switched on,were 3.5%,2.3%and 1.2.higher than those with all of the damage modules switched on,respectively.

In conventional parabolic trough collectors(PTCs),sunlight is concentrated at the bottom of the absorber tube,resulting in a significant circumferential temperature gradient across the absorber tube,heat loss and thermal deformation,which affects the safety and thermal performance of *** this study,a new receiver with homogenizer and spiral(RHS) is proposed,achieving the optical and thermal synergy to ameliorate the thermal deformation of the absorber tube and enhance thermal efficiency.A plane structure homogenizer is designed to improve uniformity of the concentrated solar flux of absorber tube through second *** combination with the spiral,it improves the optical-thermal efficiency of the PTC by enhancing heat exchange between the fluid and the backlight side of the absorber *** performance of the collector is numerically studied by building a three-dimensional coupled light-thermal-structure *** results show that the thermal deformation of the RHS is reduced by more than 96% and the optical-thermal efficiency is improved by 1.2.-0.63% compared with conventional receivers(CRs) under the same inlet temperature *** proposed receiver is validated to be effective in reducing thermal deformation and improving optical-thermal efficiency.

The composition and geological evolution of pre-Cryogenian material in the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas have played an important role in studying the formation and evolution of early supercontinents on *** paper systematically summarizes the characteristics of pre-Cryogenian sedimentation,paleontology,magmatism,and metamorphism in the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding *** on existing data,the records of pre-Cryogenian sedimentation and paleontology are mainly concentrated in the Meso-Neoproterozoic,with relatively few records from the Paleoproterozoic or *** oldest geological record is the Hadean detrital zircons in the metamorphosed sedimentary rocks of the Himalaya and Qamdo areas(ca.4.0 Ga).The Tibetan Plateau and surrounding areas preserve records related to the formation and evolution of the Kenor supercraton,and the Columbia,Rodinia,and Gondwana ***-Cryogenian basements can be divided into three types:Tarim-,Yangtze-,and *** Tarim-type basement has a paleogeographic affinity with the northern margins of the Australian and Indian continents and lacks detrital zircon age peaks and magmatic-metamorphic records related to the Rodinia assembly(ca.1.3-0.9 Ga).The Yangtze-type basement records volcanic activity related to global cooling in the latest pre-Cryogenian period and contains Meso-Neoproterozoic stromatolite and micropaleoflora fossils,as well as magmaticmetamorphic records related to Rodinia assembly(ca.1.1-1.0 Ga).The Lhasa-type basement is characterized by Neoproterozoic rift-related sediment records(ca.900 Ma)and high-pressure metamorphic events(ca.650 Ma),with a prominent peak of detrital zircon ages of ca.1.2.1.1 *** is likely to have a paleogeographic affinity with the African continent.
