Chronomodulated chemotherapy for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma:A phase Ⅱ randomized controlled trial

Objective:To validate the safety and efficacy of chronochemotherapy for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Methods:Participants for this phase II randomized controlled trial were recruited from the Department of Head and Neck Oncology at the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Guizhou Medical *** enrolled(128 in total,112 in the final analysis)between April 1,2017,and February 28,2018,were randomly divided into the chronochemotherapy and conventional chemotherapy *** the chronochemotherapy group,docetaxel was intravenously administered between 3:30 *** 4:30 *** day 1,followed by intravenous administration of cisplatin between 10:00 *** 10:00 *** day 1to day *** addition,5-fluorouracil was administered through a continuous intravenous pump between 10:00 *** 10:00 a.m.(2nd day)from day 1 to day *** the conventional chemotherapy group,docetaxel(on day 1),cisplatin(on day 2),and 5-fluorouracil(from day 1 to day 5,120 h in total)were administered without time-specific *** groups underwent intensitymodulated radiation therapy with 6-MV *** gross target volume(GTV)comprised the nasopharyngeal GTV and cervical lymph node *** primary endpoint was immune function,quantified by measuring dendritic cell and lymphocyte subsets,whereas the secondary endpoints were therapeutic efficacy and incidence of adverse *** Chi-square test was applied to compare total events between the groups,Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the DC subsets and toxicities,and Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare the continuous variables between the two ***:Chronochemotherapy preserved immune function,as evidenced by elevated levels of myeloid dendritic cells(P=0.394)and higher CD4/CD8 ratio(P?0.781).No significant difference in overall response rate,measured as the sum of complete and partial response rates,was observed between the groups(P=0.711).A reduction in the incidence of vomiting(P=

对曲面工件进行超声检测时,受工件曲率影响,超声波在曲界面处反射偏转特性不规律,造成回波接收困难,增加了检测的实现难度。针对以上问题,结合超声测距和幅值最大原理,阐述了以机械臂为运动机构的曲面工件点云建模方法,分析点位间角度关系,提出了一种基于分段三次Hermite函数的声束姿态调整算法,并通过C扫结果验证了算法有效性。以曲面轴承试块为例,进行了缺陷定量实验,试块缺陷检出率100%,缺陷尺寸误差不大于5.86%。实验结果表明:该方法能够实现曲面工件高精度扫查,为实现曲面工件超声自动化检测提供了一种便捷有效的途径。

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)are regarded as promising energy storage devices due to their low cost,high capacity,and ecological ***,the severe dendritic growth and side reactions hinder their practical applicability ***,an ultrathin Cu coating layer(~200 nm)is decorated on zinc foils via filtered cathodic vacuum arc deposition technology,aiming to achieve high-performance *** Cu layer effectively suppresses chemical corrosion and hydrogen evolution reactions and enables preferential(002)Zn deposition during the stripping/plating ***,the Cu@Zn anode represents an elongated cycle life over 4,000 h at 2 mA·cm^(-2)/2 mAh·cm^(-2).Even in conditions of high current density of 5 and 10 mA·cm^(-2),the Cu@Zn anode shows prolonged cycling stability exceeding 4000 and 2000 h,*** advantages also bring high Coulombic efficiency of 99.87%under 5 mAh·cm^(-2)in Cu@Ti||Zn half-cell over 1500 ***,the Cu@Zn||MnO_(2)full cell demonstrates a superior cyclability with a specific capacity of 203 mAh·g^(-1)after 500 cycles a1 A·g^(-1).

金属增材制件在航空航天、核电等高端领域应用日益广泛,及时获取缺陷和微观组织结构信息,对改进制造过程、保证产品质量和相关设备的安全稳定运行具有重要意义。然而,特殊的制造工艺导致金属增材制件内部晶粒粗大,组织各向异性复杂,声波衰减严重,给超声检测带来了很大挑战。该文简要梳理了金属增材制造过程中常见的缺陷类型和成型件微观组织结构特征;从传统水浸式超声检测、相控阵超声检测和激光超声检测3个方面,重点论述了超声检测技术在金属增材制件缺陷检测领域的应用现状;提出基于超声检测技术无损评价金属增材制件微观组织结构和力学性能的原理以及评价模型建立方法,并对相关重难点做了阐述;最后总结了超声无损检测技术在金属增材制件质量评价领域应用中面临的挑战和发展趋势,并对未来应重点关注的研究方向给出建议。

Photocatalytic activation of sulfite by N-doped porous biochar/MnFe_(2)O_(4) interface-driven catalyst for efficient degradation of tetracycline

A novel photo-catalytic system composed of N-doped biochars(NBCs),MnFe_(2)O_(4) and sulfite activation under ultraviolet(NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4)/sulfite/UV)was constructed to realize the efficient eliminate of tetracycline(TC).As the carrier of MnFe_(2)O_(4),NBCs were synthesized from alfalfa,which has large specific surface area,graphite like structure and hierarchical porous *** adsorption isotherm indicated that NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4)-2:1 had the best adsorption performance for TC(347.56 mg g^(-1)).Through synergistic adsorption and photocatalysis,the removal rate of TC reached 84%,which was significantly higher than that of MnFe_(2)O_(4).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and Photoluminescence(PL)characterization results showed that the introduction of NBCs improved the separation efficiency of photogenerated electron and hole pairs and enhanced the photocatalytic ***,the adsorption,degradation mechanism and degradation path of TC by the catalyst were systematically analyzed by coupling HPLC–MS measurement with the theoretical *** the advantages of excellent degradation performance,low cost,easy separation and environmental friendliness of NBCs/MnFe_(2)O_(4),this work was expected to provide a new path for the practical application of biochar.

Prediction model for corrosion rate of low-alloy steels under atmospheric conditions using machine learning algorithms

This work constructed a machine learning(ML)model to predict the atmospheric corrosion rate of low-alloy steels(LAS).The material properties of LAS,environmental factors,and exposure time were used as the input,while the corrosion rate as the output.6 dif-ferent ML algorithms were used to construct the proposed *** optimization and filtering,the eXtreme gradient boosting(XG-Boost)model exhibited good corrosion rate prediction *** features of material properties were then transformed into atomic and physical features using the proposed property transformation approach,and the dominant descriptors that affected the corrosion rate were filtered using the recursive feature elimination(RFE)as well as XGBoost *** established ML models exhibited better predic-tion performance and generalization ability via property transformation *** addition,the SHapley additive exPlanations(SHAP)method was applied to analyze the relationship between the descriptors and corrosion *** results showed that the property transformation model could effectively help with analyzing the corrosion behavior,thereby significantly improving the generalization ability of corrosion rate prediction models.

Frequency Domain Fatigue Evaluation on SCR Girth-Weld Based on Structural Stress

The Steel Catenary Riser(SCR)is a vital component for transporting oil and gas from the seabed to the floating *** harsh environmental conditions and complex platform motion make the SCR’s girth-weld prone to fatigue *** structural stress fatigue theory and Master S-N curve method provide accurate predictions for the fatigue damage on the welded joints,which demonstrate significant potential and compatibility in multi-axial and random fatigue ***,we propose a new frequency fatigue model subjected to welded joints of SCR under multiaxial stress,which fully integrates the mesh-insensitive structural stress and frequency domain random process and transforms the conventional welding fatigue technique of SCR into a spectrum analysis technique utilizing structural ***,a full-scale FE model of SCR with welds is established to obtain the modal structural stress of the girth weld and the frequency response function(FRF)of modal coordinate,and a biaxial fatigue evaluation about the girth weld of the SCR can be achieved by taking the effects of multi-load correlation and pipe-soil interaction into *** research results indicate that the frequency-domain fatigue results are aligned with the time-domain results,meeting the fatigue evaluation requirements of the SCR.

long-lived lunar volcanism sustained by precession-driven core-mantle friction

Core-mantle friction induced by the precession of the Moon's spin axis is a strong heat source in the deep lunar mantle during the early phase of a satellite's evolution, but its influence on the long-term thermal evolution still remains poorly explored. Using a one-dimensional thermal evolution model, we show that core-mantle friction can sustain global-scale partial melting in the upper lunar mantle until ～3.1 Ga, thus accounting for the intense volcanic activity on the Moon before ～3.0 Ga. Besides, core-mantle friction tends to suppress the secular cooling of the lunar core and is unlikely to be an energy source for the long-lived lunar core dynamo. Our model also favours the transition of the Cassini state before the end of the lunar magma ocean phase(～4.2 Ga), which implies a decreasing lunar obliquity over time after the solidification of the lunar magma ocean. Such a trend of lunar obliquity evolution may allow volcanically released water to be buried in the lunar regolith of the polar regions. As a consequence, local water ice could be more abundant than previously thought when considering only its accumulation caused by solar wind and comet spreading.

Automatic modeling algorithm of stochastic error for inertial sensors

This paper proposes an automatic algorithm to determine the properties of stochastic processes and their parameters for inertial error. The proposed approach is based on a recently developed method called the generalized method of wavelet moments (GMWM), whose estimator was proven to be consistent and asymptotically normally distributed. This algorithm is suitable mainly (but not only) for the combination of several stochastic processes, where the model identification and parameter estimation are quite difficult for the traditional methods, such as the Allan variance and the power spectral density analysis. This algorithm further explores the complete stochastic error models and the candidate model ranking criterion to realize automatic model identification and determination. The best model is selected by making the trade-off between the model accuracy and the model complexity. The validation of this approach is verified by practical examples of model selection for MEMS-IMUs (micro-electro-mechanical system inertial measurement units) in varying dynamic conditions.
