A visible-light-mediated reaction of indole derivatives employing arylsulfonyl chlorides as sulfonyl surrogates has been developed,which proceeds via the sequence of reduction of sulfonyl chloride,sulfonylation,and intramolecular cyclization.This mild protocol transforms a diverse array of indole tethered alkenes and simple sulfonyl chlorides into highly valuable functionalized tetrahydrocarbazoles in good yields.This reaction is also suitable for gram-scale synthesis,which provides an efficient and green access to multi-substituted tetrahydrocarbazoles.

Multivariate dynamic networks indicate networks whose topology structure and vertex attributes are evolving along time.They are common in multimedia applications.Anomaly detection is one of the essential tasks in analyzing these networks though it is not well addressed.In this paper,we combine a rare category detection method and visualization techniques to help users to identify and analyze anomalies in multivariate dynamic networks.We conclude features of rare categories and two types of anomalies of rare categories.Then we present a novel rare category detection method,called DIRAD,to detect rare category candidates with anomalies.We develop a prototype system called iNet,which integrates two major visualization components,including a glyph-based rare category identifier,which helps users to identify rare categories among detected substructures,a major view,which assists users to analyze and interpret the anomalies of rare categories in network topology and vertex attributes.Evaluations,including an algorithm performance evaluation,a case study,and a user study,are conducted to test the effectiveness of proposed methods.

Nine new fluorine-containing drugs have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)in 2021,which are presented in this review article.These small molecular drugs feature aromatic fluorine,trifluoromethyl and chlorodifluoro groups.The therapeutic areas of these fluorine-containing drugs include multiple myeloma,lymphoma,HIV,chronic heart failure,chronic myeloid leukemia,(ANCA)-associated vasculitis,migraines,von Hippel-Lindau disease,and non-small cell lung cancer.The brief biological activities and the synthetic methods have been discussed in this review for each of these nine drugs.

挤压、发酵对燕麦营养及抗氧化性影响的研究

为了改善燕麦的消化性,提高β-葡聚糖生物利用率和抗氧化性,采用挤压膨化技术耦合微生物发酵,对燕麦进行处理,考察处理前后干物质含量、β-葡聚糖含量、表观黏度和生物可给率、淀粉的消化性及抗氧化性能的变化。实验结果表明:与未处理燕麦相比,除淀粉含量未有明显变化,其他指标经挤压膨化耦合发酵处理后均有显著提高(P<0.05),其中β-葡聚糖含量和生物利用率分别提高了30.86%、36.38%,表观黏度降低了37.86%,快速消化淀粉(RDS)提高了13.58%,慢速消化淀粉(SDS)提高22.42%,抗性淀粉(RS)降低了24.23%,直链淀粉、支链淀粉含量分别降低了21.11%、34.17%,支链淀粉:直链淀粉降低了16.67%,多酚及黄酮含量分别提高了28.98%和37.83%,DPPH自由基、ABTS自由基的IC_(50)减低了38.68%和31.67%。实验说明挤压耦合发酵技术可以很好地改善燕麦的淀粉消化性、提高β-葡聚糖生物利用率以及抗氧化性,提高了燕麦的营养价值。

Traditional clustering algorithms often struggle to produce satisfactory results when dealing with datasets withuneven density. Additionally, they incur substantial computational costs when applied to high-dimensional datadue to calculating similarity matrices. To alleviate these issues, we employ the KD-Tree to partition the dataset andcompute the K-nearest neighbors (KNN) density for each point, thereby avoiding the computation of similaritymatrices. Moreover, we apply the rules of voting elections, treating each data point as a voter and casting a votefor the point with the highest density among its KNN. By utilizing the vote counts of each point, we develop thestrategy for classifying noise points and potential cluster centers, allowing the algorithm to identify clusters withuneven density and complex shapes. Additionally, we define the concept of “adhesive points” between two clustersto merge adjacent clusters that have similar densities. This process helps us identify the optimal number of clustersautomatically. Experimental results indicate that our algorithm not only improves the efficiency of clustering butalso increases its accuracy.

In this paper, we study the relations between the class of A-Gorenstein projective modules and the left orthogonal class of A, also the relations between the class of A-Gorenstein injective modules and the right orthogonal class of A. Some functor characterizations of AGorenstein projective modules and A-Gorenstein injective modules are obtained. Using the notion of complete duality pair, we discuss the relations between A-Gorenstein projective modules and B-Gorenstein flat modules. Some known results are generalized.

The transaction-level analysis of security price changes by Madhavan,Richardson,and Roomans(1997,hereafter MRR)is a useful framework for financial analysis.The first-order Markov property of trading indicator variables is a critical assumption in the MRR model,which contradicts the information lag empirically demonstrated in high-frequency trading processes.In this study,a nonparametric test is employed,which shows that the Markov property of the trading indicator variables is rejected on most trading days.Based on the spread decomposed structure,an MA-MRR model was proposed with a moving average structure adopted to absorb the information lag as an extension.The empirical results show that the information lag plays an important role in measuring the adverse selection risk parameter and that the difference in this parameter between the original and the extension is significant.Furthermore,our analysis suggests that the information lag parameter is a useful measure of the average speed at which information is incorporated into prices.

Artificial vision is crucial for most artificial intelligence applications.Conventional artificial visual systems have been facing challenges in terms of real-time information processing due to the physical separation of sensors,memories,and processors,which results in the production of a large amount of redundant data as well as the data conversion and transfer between these three components consuming most of the time and energy.Emergent optoelectronic memristors with the ability to realize integrated sensing-computing-memory(ISCM)are key candidates for solving such challenges and therefore attract increasing attention.At present,the memristive ISCM devices can only perform primary-level computing with external light signals due to the fact that only monotonic increase of memconductance upon light irradiation is achieved in most of these devices.here,we propose an all-optically controlled memristive ISCM device based on a simple structure of Au/ZnO/Pt with the ZnO thin film sputtered at pure Ar atmosphere.This device can perform advanced computing tasks such as nonvolatile neuromorphic computing and complete Boolean logic functions only by light irradiation,owing to its ability to reversibly tune the memconductance with light.Moreover,the device shows excellent operation stability ascribed to a purely electronic memconductance tuning mechanism.hence,this study is an important step towards the next generation of artificial visual systems.

Nowadays,the majority of the studies on the substitution are focused on cations(such as Y^(3+),Ti^(4+),P^(5+),etc.)in Li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP),while there are few studies on the substitution of anion O^(2-).In this work,the modified LATP with a series of LiCl(LATPClx,x=0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4)additives is prepared to enhance ionic conductivity.The successful introduction of Cl-makes the length of the c axis decrease from 20.822(2)to 20.792(1)Å,and the bulk conductivity of 2.13×10^(-3) S·cm^(-1) is achieved in LATPCl_(0.3).Moreover,the Al/Ti-O1/Cl1 and Al/Ti-O_(2)/Cl_(2) distance decrease,while the Li1-O_(2)/Cl_(2) distance increases.Lithium ions migrate more easily in the nanochannel of M3-M1-M3.In addition,the LiCl additive increases the relative density and the grain boundary conductivity of LATPClx compounds.Naturally,a higher ionic conductivity of 2.12×10^(–4) S·cm^(-1) and a low activation energy of 0.30 eV are obtained in LATPCl_(0.3).Correspondingly,the symmetric cell exhibits a low overpotential of±50 mV for over 200 h in LATPCl_(0.3).The solid-state Li|LATPCl_(0.3)|NCM811(NCM811=LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O_(2))battery exhibits high initial capacity 185.1 mAh·g^(-1) with a capacity retention rate of 95.4%after 100 cycles at 0.5 C.This result suggests that LiCl additive is an effective strategy to promote electrochemical properties of LATP solid electrolyte and can be considered for reference to other inorganic solid electrolytes systems.

Characteristics of the microbial communities regulate soil multi-functionality under different cover crop amendments in Ultisol

The use of cover crops is a promising strategy for influencing the soil microbial consortium,which is essential for the delivery of multiple soil functions(i.e.,soil multifunctionality).Nonetheless,relatively little is known about the role of the soil microbial consortium in mediating soil multifunctionality under different cover crop amendments in dryland Ultisols.here,we assessed the multifunctionality of soils subjected to four cover crop amendments(control,non-amended treatment;RD,radish monoculture;HV,hairy vetch monoculture;and RDHV,radish-hairy vetch mixture),and we investigated the contributions of soil microbial richness,network complexity,and ecological clusters to soil multifunctionality.Our results demonstrated that cover crops whose chemical composition differed from that of the main plant crop promoted higher multifunctionality,and the radish-hairy vetch mixture rendered the highest enhancement.We obtained evidence that changes in soil microbial richness and network complexity triggered by the cover crops were associated with higher soil multifunctionality.Specifically,specialized microbes in a key ecological cluster(ecological cluster 2)of the soil microbial network were particularly important for maintaining soil multifunctionality.Our results highlight the importance of cover crop-induced variations in functionally important taxa for promoting the soil multifunctionality of dryland Ultisols.
