Developing a low-cost and well-recyclable adsorbent with high adsorption capacity is greatly desirable in dye wastewater treatment. Here, we demonstrate a kind of novel tough and reusable hydrogel beads with quite high capacity of dye adsorption via incorporating mussel-bioinspired poly（L-DOPA）（PDOPA） into alginate/poly（acrylamide） double network （DN） hydrogels. The synthesized PDOPA nanoaggregates were introduced into the DN hydrogels by simple one-pot mixing with the monomers prior to polymerization. The fabricated hydrogel beads exhibited high mechanical strength and good elastic recovery due to the interpenetrating Ca2＋-alginate and poly（acrylamide） networks. It was shown that the beads exhibited relatively high dye adsorption capacity compared to other adsorbents reported in literature, and the introduction of PDOPA with an appropriate amount raised the adsorption capacity. It is believed that the addition of PDOPA and the matrix of double network architecture contributed synergistically to the high adsorption capacity of hydrogel beads. Moreover, the desorption of dyes could be easily realized via rinsing in acidic water and ethanol solution. The hydrogel beads remained the high adsorption capacity even after 5 times of adsorption and desorption cycles. This tough and stable hydrogel with high adsorption capacity may have potential in treatment of dye wastewater released by textile dyeing industry.

A novel and efficient method was developed for the liquid-phase synthesis of Nj,4-disubstitutedbenzodiazepine-2,5-diones with 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzoic acid as initiating material via 4 step reactions containing esterifieation, ＂Ulmn reaction＂, acylation, alkylation and cyclization. The reaction conditions were mild and the overall yields of the products ranged from 45% to 71%.

Lithium metal batteries(LMBs) with a high theoretical capacity are seen as a type of the most potential energy storage ***,the growth of lithium dendrite,the irreversible side reactions,and the infinite volume alteration still curb the practical utilization of lithium metal anodes,resulting in low Coulombic efficiency(CE) and safety problems,***,we synthesize a lithiophilic 3D copper foam host with uniformly distributed nano-flower-like ZnO particles(CuF/ZnO) and obtain the composite lithium metal anode containing the Li_(2)O,LiZn alloy,and pure Li by the infusion of molten Li(CuF/Li_(2)O-LiZn@Li).Benefitting from the advantages of the 3D structure of copper foam and the lithiophilicity of ZnO sites,the composite lithium metal anode can restrain the volume alternation and regulate the uniform deposition of *** symmetrical cells of the composite lithium metal anode have a 1600 h long cycle life with a low polarization voltage of 15 mV,and the Coulombic efficiency can maintain about 97.8% at 1.0 mA·cm^(-2),1.0mAh·cm^(-2).

Background:Balloon catheter isolation is a promising auxiliary method for thermal ablation treatment of liver cancer. We aimed to explore the safety and effectiveness of balloon catheter isolation-assisted ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) in treating liver cancer in difficult anatomical ***:Data of 132 patients with 145 difficult-site liver cancer treated with ultrasound-guided percutaneous MWA were retrospectively analyzed. Participants were classified into the isolation (n=40)and non-isolation (n=92) groups based on whether the patients were treated using a balloon catheter prior to ablation. The major complication rates, local tumor residuals (LTR), and tumor follow-up for local tumor progression (LTP) at 6 and 12 months post-ablation were compared between the two ***:The rates of major postoperative complications did not significantly differ between the isolation and non-isolation groups (2.5%vs. 4.3%, P=0.609). The postoperative LTR rates were significantly different between the isolation and non-isolation groups (4.8%vs. 17.5%, P=0.032). Balloon catheter isolation [odds ratio (OR)=0.225, 95%confidence interval (CI):0.085–0.595, P=0.009] and tumor diameter(OR=2.808, 95%CI:1.186–6.647, P=0.019) were identified as independent factors influencing LTR *** cumulative LTP rates at 6 and 12 months after ablation showed no significant differences between the isolation and non-isolation groups (2.6%vs. 7.9%, P=0.661; 4.9%vs. 9.8%, P=0.676, respectively).Cox proportional hazards regression analysis showed that tumor diameter was an independent risk factor for cumulative LTP rate (OR=3.445, 95%CI:1.406–8.437, P=0.017).Conclusions:Balloon catheter isolation-assisted MWA was safe and effective in the treatment of difficultsite liver cancer. Additionally, tumor diameter significantly influenced LTR and LTP rates after ablation.

Background:The supine position is the most common birth position adopted in China,but the World Health Organization recommends non-supine positions for *** handsand-knees position shows several advantages,such as wide pelvic diameter and easy fetal rotation during *** trials conducted in China in 2011 revealed that the handsand-knees position resulted in improved maternal and neonate outcomes than those in the supine ***,a comprehensive study must be conducted before the handsand-knees position can be introduced into clinical ***,we conducted this multicenter trial to comprehensively examine the benefits of the hands-and-knees position over the supine position during ***:Our clinical study was conducted in 11 hospitals in China from May to December 2012.A total of 446 pregnant women who gave birth in the hands-and-knees position were assigned into the experimental group,and 440 women who gave birth in the supine position were classified into the control *** rate was evaluated as the primary outcome,and perineum laceration degree was considered the secondary ***:Women in the experimental group achieved lower rates of episiotomy and higher rates of intact perineum and first-degree perineum lacerations compared with those in the *** bleeding amount,neonatal asphyxia,and APGAR scores at 1 and 5 min were not significantly different between the two ***:This study proves that women who delivered in the hands-and-knees position achieved low rates of episiotomy and intact ***,the rates of neonatal asphyxia and postpartum bleeding did not *** patients who prefer to adopt the hands-and-knees position should be assisted in assuming such position during delivery.

The standard model of modern cosmology might be cracked by the recent persistent hot debate on the Hubble-constant(H_(0))tension,which manifests itself as the sound-horizon(r_(s))tension or absolute-magnitude(M_(B))tension if deeming the origin of the Hubble tension from modifying the early or late Universe,*** this study,we achieve a fully model-independent constraint(fitting a model-independent global parameterization to a model-independent inverse distant ladder with a modelindependent high-redshift calibration)on late-time models with strong evidence against homogeneous new physics over theΛ-cold-dark-matter(ΛCDM)*** using this model-independent constraint to calibrate sufficiently local supernovae with corresponding late-time models extrapolated below the homogeneity scale,we find surprisingly that,although both H_(0)tension and MB tension are absent in our local Universe,a combination of H_(0)and M_(B)as the intercept a B of the magnitude-redshift relation exhibits 3~7σtension even for theΛCDM *** aBtension seems to call for local-scale inhomogeneous new physics disguised as local observational systematics.

The Qinba Mountains are climatically and ecologically recognized as the north-south transitional zone of *** of its phenology is critical for comprehending the response of vegetation to climatic *** retrieved the start of spring phenology(SOS)of eight forest communities from the MODIS products and adopted it as an indicator for spring *** analysis,partial correlation analysis,and GeoDetector were employed to reveal the spatio-temporal patterns and climatic drivers of *** results indicated that the SOS presented an advance trend from 2001 to 2020,with a mean rate of−0.473 d yr^(−1).The SOS of most forests correlated negatively with air temperature(TEMP)and positively with precipitation(PRE),suggesting that rising TEMP and increasing PRE in spring would forward and delay SOS,*** dominant factors influencing the sensitivity of SOS to climatic variables were altitude,forest type,and latitude,while the effects of slope and aspect were relatively *** response of SOS to climatic factors varied significantly in space and among forest communities,partly due to the influence of altitude,slope,and aspect.
