Consideration of green intelligent steel processes and narrow window stability control technology on steel quality

In order to promote the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the steel industry, intelligent technology features based on the current situation and challenges of the steel industry are discussed in this paper. Based on both domestic and global research, functional analysis, reasonable positioning, and process optimization of each aspect of steel making are expounded. The current state of molten steel quality and implementation under narrow window control is analyzed. A method for maintaining stability in the narrow window control technology of steel quality is proposed, controlled by factors including composition, temperature, time, cleanliness, and consumption(raw material). Important guidance is provided for the future development of a green and intelligent steel manufacturing process.

The results of interaction between CdSe quantum dots and polyaniline were reported. Polyaniline effectively decreases the emission of CdSe quantum dots, and the CdSe luminescence lifetime is decreased by the addition of polyaniline. The mechanism of the emission observed in CdSe is assumed to result from the energy transfer and from the combination of surface-trapped electrons and holes energy is transferred from CdSe to polyaniline, and polyaniline occupies the hole sites.

The effect of heating rates during vacuum debinding on the microstructure and mechanical properties of alumina ceramics are discussed in this *** threedimensional(3D)-printed alumina ceramics examined in this study were found to have a layered structure,and interlayer spacing increased as the heating rate increased The pore diameter,shrinkage,flexural strength and hardness were found to decrease as the heating rate increased due to weak interfacial bonding between alumina particles Shrinkage was found to be much larger along the Z direction than along the X or Y directions due to the layer-bylayer forming mode during 3D printing.0.5°C·min-1is considered the optimum heating rate,yielding ceramics with interlayer spacing of 0.65 lm,shrinkage of 2.6%2.3%and 4.0%along the X,Y and Z directions,respectively,flexural strength of 27.5 MPa,hardness of29.8 GPa,Vickers hardness of HV 266.5,pore diameter of356.8 nm,bulk density of 2.5 g·cm-3,and open porosity of38.4%.The debinding procedure used in this study could be used to produce a high-quality ceramic which can be used for fabricating alumina ceramic cores.

In this paper, methacrylated γ-PGA（m PGA） precursor was synthesized via reaction between γ-PGA and glycidyl methacrylate（GMA）. Hydrogels from this precursor were prepared under 365 nm ultraviolet irradiation. The swelling behavior and mechanical properties were studied in detail as functions of the degree of substitution（DS）, precursor concentration, and environmental p H. Results showed that the crosslink density, swelling kinetics and mechanical properties of the hdyrogel could be tailored by adjusting the DS and concentration of the precursor as well as the environmental p H. Three-dimensional photo-encapsulation of swine cartilage chondrocytes and Live/Dead assay proved the cytocompatibility of the hydrogel.

Objective: Mast cells (MC) reside in the mucosa of the digestive tract as the first line against bacteria and toxins. Clinical evidence has implied that the infiltration of mast cells in colorectal cancers is related to malignant phenotypes and a poor prognosis. This study compared the role of mast cells in adjacent normal colon mucosa and in the invasive margin during the progression of colon cancer. Methods: Specimens were obtained from 39 patients with colon adenomas and 155 patients with colon cancers treated at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between January 1999 and July 2004. The density of mast cells was scored by an immunohistochemical assay. The pattern of mast cell distribution and its relationship with clinicopathologic parameters and 5-year survival were analyzed. Results: The majority of mast cells were located in the adjacent normal colon mucosa, followed by the invasive margin and least in the cancer stroma. Mast cell count in adjacent normal colon mucosa (MCCadjacent) was associated with pathologic classification, distant metastases and hepatic metastases, although it was not a prognostic factor. In contrast, mast cell count in the invasive margin (MCCinvasive) was associated with neither the clinicopathlogic parameters nor overall survival. Conclusion: Mast cells in the adjacent normal colon mucosa were related to the progression of colon cancer, suggesting that mast cells might modulate tumor progression via a long-distance mechanism.

The hot deformation characteristics of GH4720Li alloy were studied at the temperature of 1 100--1 170 ℃ and strain rate of 0.01--1 s -1 using Gleeble hot compression tests. True stress-true strain curves and deformation microstructures were investigated. Constitutive equation was established using the hyperbolic law. Processing map for hot working was also developed on the basis of the variations of efficiency of power dissipation with temperature and strain rate. The results show that dynamic recrystallization is the dominant softening mechanism during hot deformation. Fully recrystallized grain is obtained at strain of 0. 7 above 1 130 ℃, and coarsening occurs above 1 150 ℃. The mean deformation activation energy is determined to be 512 kJ/mol. According to the low activation energy value, high dissipation efficiency parameter and fine recrystallized microstructure, 1 130 ℃ is chosen as the hot working temperature for GH4720Li alloy.

To better understand the stress-corrosion behavior of friction stir welding(FSW),the effects of the microstructure on the stress-corrosion behavior of the FSW in a 2198-T34 aluminum alloy were *** experimental results show that the low-angle grain boundary(LABs)of the stir zone(SZ)of FSW is significantly less than that of heated affected zone(HAZ),thermo-mechanically affected zone(TMAZ),and parent materials(PM),but the grain boundary precipitates(GBPs)T1(Al2CuLi)were less,which has a slight effect on the stress *** dislocation density in SZ was greater than that in other *** residual stress in SZ was+67 MPa,which is greater than that in the *** residual stress in the HAZ and PM is-8 MPa and-32 MPa,respectively,and both compressive *** corrosion potential in SZ is obviously less than that in other ***,micro-cracks were formed in the SZ at low strain rate,which indicates that the grain boundary characters and GBPs have no significant effect on the crack initiation in the stress-corrosion process of the ***,the residual tensile stress has significant effect on the crack initiation during the stress-corrosion process.

The novel compensating method directly demodulates the signals without the carrier recovery processes, in which the carrier with original modulation frequency is used as the local coherent carrier. In this way, the phase offsets due to frequency shift are linear. Based on this premise, the compensation processes are： firstly, the phase offsets between the baseband neighbor-symbols after clock recovery is unbiasedly estimated among the reference symbols; then, the receiving signals symbols are adjusted by the phase estimation value; finally, the phase offsets after adjusting are compensated by the least mean squares （LMS） algorithm. In order to express the compensation processes and ability clearly, the quadrature phase shift keying （QPSK） modulation signals are regarded as examples for Matlab simulation. BER simulations are carried out using the Monte-Carlo method. The learning curves are obtained to study the algorithm＇s convergence ability. The constellation figures are also simulated to observe the compensation results directly.

Temporal-spatial cross-correlation analysis of non-stationary wind speed time series plays a crucial role in wind field reconstruction as well as in wind pattern ***,the near-surface wind speed time series recorded at different locations are studied using the detrended fluctuation analysis(DFA),and the corresponding scaling exponents are larger than *** indicates that all these wind speed time series have non-stationary ***,concerning this special feature( i.e.,non-stationarity)of wind signals,a cross-correlation analysis method,namely detrended cross-correlation analysis(DCCA) coefficient,is employed to evaluate the temporal-spatial cross-correlations between non-stationary time series of different anemometer ***,experiments on ten wind speed data synchronously collected by the ten anemometers with equidistant arrangement illustrate that the method of DCCA cross-correlation coefficient can accurately analyze full-scale temporal-spatial cross-correlation between non-stationary time series and also can easily identify the seasonal component,while three traditional cross-correlation techniques(i.e.,Pearson coefficient,cross-correlation function,and DCCA method) cannot give us these information directly.
