By constructing a special cone and using cone compression and expansion fixed point theorem, this paper presents some existence results of positive solutions of singular boundary value problem on unbounded domains for a class of first order differential equation. As applications of the main results, two examples are given at the end of this paper.

The nuclear modification factor for prompt photon production in proton-nucleus collisions is investigated within color dipole *** means of the Glauber-Gribov approach,the nuclear effects are studied in various rapidity bins with the evolution equation-based saturation models and the phenomenological dipole *** theoretical results are compared with the experimental data provided by PHENIX,ATLAS and CMS *** forward rapidity and midrapidity,a reasonable agreement with the experimental data is shown for the theoretical results with the modified Kharzeev,Levin and Nardi model,and the Kowalski and Teaney ***,we analyze the influence of the initial state energy loss effect on the nuclear modification factor and find that it is obvious only at backward rapidity together with small ***,the theoretical results are also compared with those of JETPHOX Monte Carlo program and the predictive results for the LHCb at very forward rapidities are presented.

Positron sources are one of the most important components of the injector of a circular electron positron collector(CEPC).The CEPC is designed as an e^(+)e^(−)collider for a Higgs *** accelerator system is composed of 100-km-long storage rings and an *** design goal of the positron source is to obtain positron beams with a bunch charge of 3 *** flux concentrator(FC)is one of the cores of the positron *** paper reports the design,development,and measurements of an FC prototype *** prototype includes an FC and an all-solid-state high-current pulse *** tests show that the peak current on the FC can reach 15.5 kA,and the peak magnetic field can reach 6.2 *** test results are consistent with the theoretical *** FC system fulfills the requirements of the CEPC positron source as well as provides a reference for the development of similar devices both domestically and abroad.

The production of J/ψ mesons in p+p and p+Pb collisions is studied in the framework of color-glass condensate together with a simple color evaporation *** the nuclear effects with the Glauber–Gribov approach,we calculate the cross section and the nuclear modification factor of forward J/ψ production in p+Pb collisions at s^(1/2) 5:02 ***,the backward J/ψ production in p+Pb collisions at s^(1/2) 8:16 Te V is also *** our calculation,the phenomenology KLRAd S/CFT model and the rc BK approach,which are valid at a small x,are used to calculate the three-point *** is shown that the theoretical results fit well with the experimental data from ALICE and LHCb.

One of the most important devices for the High Energy Photon Source Test Facility project,the 2.6 T 32-pole 3W1 superconducting wiggler,was designed by the Institute of High Energy Physics(IHEP);its magnetic gap is 68 mm,and its storage energy is 286 *** will be installed at the storage ring of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider Upgrade Project at the IHEP to replace the old permanent *** primary purpose of the cryostat is to create a safe and reliable system and realize long-term operation with zero liquid helium *** maintain liquid helium temperature,four identical two-stage cryocoolers are placed symmetrically at the wiggler *** cryostat has only one 60 K thermal shield,which is used to reduce the heat load to the liquid helium *** cryostat has several novel features,including a suspension system with little heat leakage that is self-centered during cooling of the cryostat,a special copper liner and high-efficiency condensers,three pairs of binary current leads,and three-level safety *** cryogenic system has been cooled three times,and the residual cooling capacity is approximately 0.41 W at 4.2 K without current.

Nowadays,there has been an increasing focus on integrated flight propulsion control and the inlet-exhaust design for the aero-propulsion *** component-level models are inadequate due to installed performance deviations and mismatches between the real engine and the model,failing to meet the accuracy requirements of supersonic *** paper establishes a quasi-one-dimensional model for the inlet-exhaust system and conducts experimental ***,a mechanism-data fusion adaptive modeling scheme using an Extreme Learning Machine based on the Salp Swarm Algorithm(SSA-ELM)is *** study reveals the inlet model’s efficacy in reflecting installed performance,flow matching,and mitigating pressure distortion,while the nozzle model accurately predicts flow coefficients and thrust coefficients,and identifies various operational *** model’s output closely aligns with typical experimental *** combining offline optimization and online adaptive correction,the mechanismdata fusion adaptive model substantially reduces output errors during regular flights and varying levels of degradation,and effectively handles gradual degradation within a single flight ***,the mechanism-data fusion adaptive model holistically addresses total pressure errors within the inlet-exhaust system and normal shock location *** approach significantly curbs performance deviations in supersonic *** example,at Ma=2.0,the system error impressively drops from 34.17%to merely 6.54%,while errors for other flight conditions consistently stay below the 2.95%*** findings underscore the clear superiority of the proposed method.

The Yellow Sea(YS)and East China Sea(ECS)are highly dynamic marginal seas of the northwestern Pacific *** gain an in-depth understanding of zooplankton community structure,zooplankton abundance,biovolume,and size structure in summer 2017 in the YS and ECS were assessed using ZooScan imaging *** abundance and biovolume ranged 2.94–1187.14 inds./m^(3)and 3.13–3438.51 mm^(3)/m^(3),*** on the biovolume data of the categorized size classes of 26 identified taxonomic groups,the zooplankton community was classified into five groups,and each group was coupled with distinctive oceanographic *** the influence of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass,the Yellow Sea offshore group featured the lowest bottom temperature(10.84±3.42℃)and the most abundant Calanoids(mainly in the 2–3 mm size class).In the Yellow Sea inshore group,Hydrozoans showed the largest biovolume and dominated in the 3–4-mm and>5-mm size *** East China Sea offshore group,which was affected by the Kuroshio Branch Current,featured high temperature and salinity,and the lowest bottom dissolved oxygen(2.58±0.5 mg/L).The lowest values of zooplankton abundance and biovolume in the East China Sea offshore group might be attributed to the bottom dissolved oxygen *** East China Sea inshore group,which was mainly influenced by the Zhejiang-Fujian Coastal Current and Changjiang Diluted Water,was characterized by high chlorophyll a and the largest biovolume of carnivorous Siphonophores(280.82±303.37 mm^(3)/m^(3)).The Changjiang River estuary offshore group showed the most abundant Cyclopoids,which might be associated with the less turbid water mass in this *** temperature was considered the most important factor in shaping the size compositions of Calanoids in different groups.
