The conformational conversion of 1,3-dioxane guest encapsulated inside a cylindrical capsular host was investigated with PM3 method and single point energies were evaluated by B3LYP method. When entrapped in the capsule, the guest tumbles were slower than that in the free condition. The influences of the inner phase of the capsule on the guest conformational conversion were discussed in detail.

The conversion process from bicyclo[4.1.0]heptatriene （BCT） to 1,2,4,6-cycloheptatetraene （CHTE） within a molecular container was studied with AM1 method, and single point energies for all stationary points were evaluated by B3LYP and HF methods. The conversion potential barrier for the encapsulation complex became smooth when compared with that for the rearrangement in free state. The influences of the inner phase of the molecular container on the conversion process were discussed.

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S cm-1and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS cm-1and low areal resistance of 1.17Ω***,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6from 0.8 to 1.35 mA *** resultant LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g-1and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g-1and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

The most common interventional therapies for liver cancer at present include transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization （TACE）, percutaneous ethanol injection and radiofrequency ablation, but all these therapies have some intrinsic disadvantages. Since the advent of electrochemotherapy （EChT）, it has been accepted as a safe and effective therapy for malignant tumors There are only a few experimental studies reporting the use of EChT in the treatment of liver cancer in the foreign medical literature. However, there have been some clinical studies, and even fewer reports of experimental studies on EChT for liver cancer in China. We used a rat implanted liver cancer animal model to monitor changes in tumour size, tumour necrosis, cellular apoptosis, expression of peripheral immunological markers （IL-2, slL-2R, IL-6 and TNF-α） and survival.

Background Sensitization in transplant candidates increases risk of irreversible immunologic injury of graft in the early period postoperatively. Elimination of anti-human leukocyte antigen （HLA） antibodies using protein A immunoadsorption （IA） might benefit these *** Protein A IA was used in 21 patients with high panel reactive antibody （PRA）. The patients had IA 1-6 times （median 5 times） with the interval period was 2-5 days （median 2.5 days）.Results Total 67 IA procedures were carried out smoothly in all patients. IA treatment reduced PRA I （pre （31.4±3.8）% vs. post （24.4±3.4）%, P 〈0.01） and II （pre （37.1±4.3）% vs. post （34.1±3.9）%, P 〈0.01）. However, PRA did not change in some patients after the treatment. The serum immunoglobulin （IgG, IgM and IgA） and complement C3, C4 level were decreased significantly. Hemoglobin and albumin levels were slightly decreased associated with IA procedures. Flu-like symptoms were observed in a few of cases during the procedure but generally mild and *** Protein A IA is capable to efficiently remove serum immunoglobulin and complement, reduce HLA class I and class II PRA in high sensitized transplant candidates, which is likely to benefit the kidney transplantation in these patients.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-metal batteries （AZMBs） are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems due to their low cost and high ***,their performance and sustainability are significantly hindered by the sluggish desolvation kinetics at the electrode/electrolyte interface and the corresponding hydrogen evolution reaction where active water molecules tightly participate in the Zn（H2O）62+solvation ***,learnt from self-generated solid electrolyte interphase （SEI） in anodes,the dielectric but ion-conductive zinc niobate nanoparticles artificial layer is constructed on metallic Zn surface （ZNB@Zn）,acting as a rapid desolvation *** zincophilic and dielectric-conductive properties of ZNB layer accelerate interfacial desolvation/diffusion and suppress surface corrosion or dendrite formation,achieving uniform Zn plating/stripping behavior,as confirmed by electronic/optical microscopies and interface spectroscopical measurements together with theoretical ***,the as-prepared ZNB@Zn electrode exhibits excellent cycling stability of over 2000 h and robust reversibility （99.54%） even under high current density and depth of discharge ***,the assembled ZNB@Zn-based full cell displays high capacity-retention rate of 80.21%after 3000 cycles at 5 A g-1and outstanding rate performance up to 10 A *** large-areal pouch cell is stabilized for hundreds of cycles,highlighting the bright prospects of the dielectric but ion-conductive layer in further application of AZMBs.

Studies on ultrafine particle catalyst have attracted many researchers' attention by its large surface area,higher activity and *** on the mechanism of α-Fe and Fe_xC_y as the catalytical active species this paper reports for the first time the preparation method of Fe_3C ultrafine parti- cle catalyst,from highly dispersed amorphous Fe powder and free *** Fe powder and free car- bon,prepared by laser pyrolysis technique,was then treated by washing and heating at high tempera- ture protected with N_*** catalyst prepared under different experimental conditions was characterazed by means of XRD,electronic diffraction and *** shows that the crystlline grain size is in a range of 1-4nm and composed of Fe_3C and α-*** has been found that the ultrafine particle iron-carbonide catalyst exhibited much higher activity and selectivity to light *** the standard atmosphere and 380℃ reaction temperature,the conversion of CO reached a maximum of 80%.

Currently the main components of treatment for irritable bowel syndrome （IBS） include patienteducation and reassurance, dietary modification, symptomatic treatment, and psychological treatment, but little evidence exists that the current pharmaceutical agents routinely used in treating IBS patients are efficacious.1 Partly from lack of effective conventional therapeutics and in search of better treatment options, many patients with IBS in both the east and west have turned to complementary and alternative approaches, including traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）.

High-entropy materials have become high-activity electrocatalysis owing to their high-entropy effect and multiple active ***,we synthesize a series of carbon-supported nano high-entropy oxides（HEOs/C）,specifically （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C,using a carbothermal shock （CTS） method for application as a cathode catalyst in direct borohydride fuel cells （DBFCs）.The microstructure of the prepared catalysts was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray absorption fine structure,and transmission electron *** prepared （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C,with particle sizes ranging from 2 to 4 nm,demonstrates 3.94 transferred electrons towards the oxygen reduction reaction in an alkaline environment,resulting in a minimal H2O2yield of 2.6%.Additionally,it exhibits a Tafel slope of 61 mV dec-1,surpassing that of commercial Pt/C (82 mV dec-1).Furthermore,after 40,000 cycles of cyclic voltammetry（CV） testing,the half-wave potential of （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C shows a positive shift of 3 mV,with no notable decline in the limiting current *** （PtFeCoNiCu）O/C is used as a cathode catalyst in DBFCs,the DBFC achieves a maximum power density of 441 mW cm-2at 60°C and sustains a cell voltage of approximately 0.73 V after 52 h at 30°*** findings confirm that HEO/C is a promising cathode catalyst for DBFCs.
