Impact of continuous care on cardiac function in patients with lung cancer complicated by coronary heart disease

Mechanism of AsperosaponinⅥRelated to EGFR/MMP9/AKT/PI3K Pathway in Treatment of Rheumtoid Arthritis

By combining experimental α-decay energies and half-lives, the α-particle preformation factor for nuclei around neutron magic numbers N of 126, 152, and 162 were extracted using the two-potential approach. The nuclei around the shell closure were more tightly bound than adjacent nuclei. Additionally, based on the WS4 mass model (Wang et al., Phys. Lett.B 734, 215 (2014)), we extended the two-potential approach to predict the α-decay half-lives of nuclei around N values of178 and 184 with Z of 119 and 120. We believe that our findings will serve as guidelines for future experimental studies.

Effects of acupuncture combined with bone-setting therapy to treat tourette syndrome:a three-arm randomized controlled trial

OBJECTIVE: To explore the efficacy and safety of acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone-setting therapy for the treatment of Tourette syndrome. METHODS: We randomly divided 600 patients at a ratio of 1∶1∶1 into three groups: group A(acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone setting therapy group), group B(acupuncture group), and group C(tiapride group). After two months of treatment, the Yale global tic severity scale(YGTSS) score reduction, improvement in social function impairment, clinical efficacy, and long-term efficacy in the three groups were compared. RESULTS: After treatment, in the analysis of YGTSS score reduction, social function impairment improvement, the clinical control rate, and long-term efficacy, the results were all Group A > Group B > Group C, with a statistically significant difference(P lantoaxial joint bone setting therapy has better clinical and long-term efficacy. This treatment strategy can improve the social function of children and prevent adverse reactions to drugs.

High-dimensional large-scale mixed-type data imputation under missing at random

Missingness in mixed-type variables is commonly encountered in a variety of areas. The requirement of complete observations necessities data imputation when a moderate or large proportion of data is ***, inappropriate imputation would downgrade the performance of machine learning algorithms, leading to bad predictions and unreliable statistical inference. For high-dimensional large-scale mixed-type missing data, we develop a computationally efficient imputation method, missing value imputation via generalized factor models（MIG）, under missing at random. The proposed MIG method allows missing variables to be of different types,including continuous, binary, and count variables, and are scalable to both data size n and variable dimension p while existing imputation methods rely on restrictive assumptions such as the same type of missing variables,the low dimensionality of variables, and a limited sample size. We explicitly show that the imputation error of the proposed MIG method diminishes to zero with the rate Op(max{n-1/2, p-1/2}) as both n and p tend to infinity. Five real datasets demonstrate the superior empirical performance of the proposed MIG method over existing methods that the average normalized absolute imputation error is reduced by 5.3%–34.1%.

The gut microbiome promotes locomotion of Drosophila larvae via octopamine signaling

The gut microbiome is a key partner of animals, influencing various aspects of their physiology and behaviors. Among the diverse behaviors regulated by the gut microbiome, locomotion is vital for survival and reproduction, although the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we reveal that the gut microbiome modulates the locomotor behavior of Drosophila larvae via a specific neuronal type in the brain. The crawling speed of germ-free (GF) larvae was significantly reduced compared to the conventionally reared larvae, while feeding and excretion behaviors were unaffected. Recolonization with Acetobacter and Lactobacillus can fully and partially rescue the locomotor defects in GF larvae, respectively, probably due to the highest abundance of Acetobacter as a symbiotic bacterium in the larval gut, followed by Lactobacillus. Moreover, the gut microbiome promoted larval locomotion, not by nutrition, but rather by enhancing the brain levels of tyrosine decarboxylase 2 (Tdc2), which is an enzyme that synthesizes octopamine (OA). Overexpression of Tdc2 rescued locomotion ability in GF larvae. These findings together demonstrate that the gut microbiome specifically modulates larval locomotor behavior through the OA signaling pathway, revealing a new mechanism underlying larval locomotion regulated by the gut microbiome.

The circadian clock affects starvation resistance through the pentose phosphate pathway in silkworm, Bombyx mori

Disruption of the circadian clock can affect starvation resistance, but the molecular mechanism is still unclear. Here, we found that starvation resistance was significantly reduced in the core gene BmPer deficient mutant silkworms (Per(-/-)), but the mutant's starvation resistance increased with larval age. Under natural physiological conditions, the weight of mutant 5th instar larvae was significantly increased compared to wild type, and the accumulation ability of triglycerides and glycogen in the fat bodies was upregulated. However, under starvation conditions, the weight consumption of mutant larvae was increased and cholesterol utilization was intensified. Transcriptome analysis showed that beta-oxidation was significantly upregulated under starvation conditions, fatty acid synthesis was inhibited, and the expression levels of genes related to mitochondrial function were significantly changed. Further investigations revealed that the redox balance, which is closely related to mitochondrial metabolism, was altered in the fat bodies, the antioxidant level was increased, and the pentose phosphate pathway, the source of reducing power in cells, was activated. Our findings suggest that one of the reasons for the increased energy burden observed in mutants is the need to maintain a more robust redox balance in metabolic tissues. This necessitates the diversion of more glucose into the pentose phosphate pathway to ensure an adequate supply of reducing power.

中华文化作为中华民族的精神支柱与集体记忆,是铸牢中华民族共同体意识的重要文化基石。在数字技术的深度赋能下,中华文化隐匿的媒介性逐渐彰显,其不再是传统视角下的静态内容和等待被发现、被认知的被动角色,而是越来越成为意义、意象与意识的“积极行动者”及“有序组织者”。中华文化的媒介性特质,为铸牢中华民族共同体意识提供了新的视角。因此,文章提出要正视中华文化的媒介本质,并以媒介本体论阐释了中华文化可供性机制、可见性架构、具身性形态、生成性内核的四大媒介特性。在此基础上,文章进一步提出中华文化的媒介性建构路径,即激活共同体认知的文化质料、深化共同体情感的虚拟在场、形塑共同体认同的叙事路径、提供共同体行为取向的动能,从而为铸牢中华民族共同体意识打牢文化基础,提供文化动力。
