Ependymal cells line the wall of cerebral ventricles and ensure the unidirectional cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)flow by beating their motile cilia *** ependymal denudation or ciliary dysfunction causes ***,we report that the deficiency of regulator of Gprotein signaling 22(RGS22)results in severe congenital hydrocephalus in both mice and ***,RGS22 is specifically expressed in ependymal cells within the *** conditional knock-out mice,we further demonstrate that the deletion of Rgs22 exclusively in nervous system is sufficient to induce ***,we show that Rgs22 deficiency leads to the ependymal denudation and impaired *** phenomenon can be attributed to the excessive activation of lysophosphatidic acid receptor(LPAR)signaling under Rgs22^(-/-)condition,as the LPAR blockade effectively alleviates hydrocephalus in Rgs22^(-/-)***,our findings unveil a previously unrecognized role of RGS22 in the central nervous system,and present RGS22 as a potential diagnostic and therapeutic target for hydrocephalus.

In the era of time-domain,multi-messenger astronomy,the detection of transient events on the high-energy electromagnetic sky has become more important than *** gravitational wave high-energy electromagnetic counterpart all-sky monitor(GECAM)is a dedicated mission to monitor gamma-ray transients,launched in December,2020.A real-time on-board trigger and location software,using the traditional signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)method for blind search,is constrained to relatively bright signals due to the limitations in on-board computing resources and the need for real-time *** this work,we developed a ground-based pipeline for GECAM to search for various transients,especially for weak bursts missed by on-board *** pipeline includes both automatic and manual mode,offering options for blind search and targeted *** targeted search is specifically designed to search for interesting weak bursts,such as gravitational wave-associated gamma-ray bursts(GRBs).From the ground search of the data in the first year,GECAM has been triggered by 54 GRBs and other transients,including soft gamma-ray repeaters,X-ray binaries,solar flares,terrestrial gamma-ray *** report the properties of each type of triggers,such as trigger time and light *** this search pipeline and assuming a soft Band spectrum,the GRB detection sensitivity of GECAM is increased to about 1.1×10^(-8)erg cm^(-2)s^(-1)(10-1000 ke V,burst duration of 20 s).These results demonstrate that the GECAM ground search system(both blind search and targeted search)is a versatile pipeline to recover true astrophysical signals which were too weak to be found in the on-board search.

Long-period fiber gratings have the advantages of small size,corrosion resistance,anti-electro-magnetic interference,and high sensitivity,making them widely used in biomedicine,the power industry,and *** paper develops a long-period fiber grating sensor based on periodic ***,a series of linear structures were etched in the cladding of a single-mode fiber by femtosecond laser ***,the laser-modified region was selectively eroded by selective chemical etching to obtain the periodic microchannel ***,the channels were filled with polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)to im-prove the spectral *** experimental results show that the sensor has good sensitivity in the measure-ment of various parameters such as temperature,stress,refractive index(RI),and *** has a temperat-ure sensitivity of−55.19 pm/℃,a strain sensitivity of−3.19 pm/με,a maximum refractive index sensitivity of 540.28 nm/RIU,and a bending sensitivity of 2.65 dB/m^(-1).All of the measurement parameters show good lin-ear *** sensor has strong application prospects in the field of precision measurement and sensing.

To unravel the intricacies of two-phase gas-liquid flow characteristics and heat transfer behavior,an array mini-channel gravity plate heat pipe(AMGPHP)is proposed in this work,which allows for observing the internal changes in the state of the working *** flow patterns such as pool flow,columnar flow,and slug flow,are experimentally explored and analyzed in *** is found that the optimal volume fill ratio is 20%by utilizing start-up time and thermal resistance as performance evaluation *** this fill ratio,a medium optimization strategy by blending ethanol within R141b is proposed and *** comparison to pure working fluids,the heat transfer performance of AMGFHP in the binary fluid has been significantly augmented due to temperature and concentration shifts resulting from disparate boiling *** the 10%volume fraction ethanol blending condition,the equivalent thermal conductivity of the heat pipe is dramatically elevated,with a value of 3110 W/(m·℃),along with the reduction of the minimum start-up power to 4 *** general,applying such a medium to heat pipes has considerable potential in practical applications.

A series of red-emitting Ca2_xA12SiOT：xEu^3＋（x = 1 mol.%-10 tool.%） phosphors were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The effects of annealing temperature and doping concentration on the crystal structure and luminescence properties of Ca2A12SiO7：Eu^3＋ phosphors were investigated. X-ray diffraction （XRD） profiles showed that all peaks could be attributed to the tetragonal Ca2A12SiO7 phase when the sample was annealed at 1000℃. Scanning electron microscopy （SEM） micrographs indicate that the phosphors have an irregularly rounded mor- phology with particles of about 200 nm. Excitation spectra showed that the strong broad band at around 258 nm and weak sharp lines in 350-490 nm were attributed to the charge transfer band of Eu^3＋-O^2- and f-f transitions within the 4f^6 configuration of Eu^3＋ ions, respectively. Emission spectra implied that the red luminescence could be attributed to the transitions from the ^5D0 excited level to the 7Fj （J = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4） levels of Eu3＋ions with the main electric dipole transition ^5D0→^7F2 （618 and 620 nm）, and Eu^3＋ ions prefer to occupy a lower symmetry site in the crystal lattice. Moreover, the photoluminescence （PL） intensity was strongly dependent on both the sintering temperature and doping concentration, and the highest PL intensity was observed at an Eu^3＋ concentration x = 7 mol.% after annealing at ll00℃. The obtained Ca2A12SiO7：Eu^＋3＋ phosphor may have potential application for the red lamp phosphor.

面向太赫兹行波管高可靠、高稳定工作的需求，对折叠波导慢波结构开展了热分析。采用Workbench和Fluent软件对不同热耗分布状态下的慢波结构散热性能进行了仿真对比，并探讨了微通道液冷方法对慢波结构散热性能的优化效果。仿真结果表明，在集中热载荷下，折叠波导慢波结构内部温度梯度极高，孤岛结构存在极大的烧蚀风险，且微通道液冷方法对该风险的缓解作用十分有限；在较为均匀热载荷下，折叠波导慢波结构整体温度分布较均匀，内部结构损坏风险低，但存在磁体易发生温漂的问题，微通道液冷方法对此改善效果显著，对实现太赫兹行波管高占空比下稳定工作提供了一定参考。

Plant trichomes serve as a highly suitable model for investigating cell differentiation at the single-cell level. The regulatory genes involved in unicellular trichome develop- ment in Arabidopsis thaliana have been intensively studied, but genes regulating multicellular trichome development in plants remain unclear. Here, we characterized Cucumis sativus （cucumber） trichomes as representative multicellular and unbranched structures, and identified Micro-trichome （Mict）, using map-based cloning in an F2 segregating population of 7,936 individuals generated from a spontaneous mict mutant. In mitt plants, trichomes in both leaves and fruits, are small, poorly developed, and denser than in the wild type. Sequence analysis revealed that a 2,649-bp genomic deletion, spanning the first and second exons, occurred in a plant-specific class I homeodomain-leucine zipper gene. Tissue-specific expression analysis indicated that Mict is strongly expressed in the trichome cells. Transcriptome profiling identified potential targets of Mict including putative homologs of genes known in other systems to regulate trichome development, meristem determinacy, and hormone responsiveness. Phylo- genic analysis charted the relationships among putative homologs in angiosperms. Our paper represents initial steps toward understanding the development of multicellular trichomes.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs) have been attracting great attentions and widely been exploited due to the abundant sodium/potassium ***,the preparation of high-powered anode materials for SIBs/PIBs plays a decisive role for the commercial applications of SIBs/PIBs in the *** selenides are a class of potential anode materials for SIBs/PIBs because of their small band gap and high electrical *** this work,MnSe and ReS_(2) core-shell nanowires connecting by polydopamine derived carbon nanotube(MnSe@NC@ReS_(2)) have been successfully synthesized from growing ReS_(2) nanosheets array on the surface of MnSe@NC nano wires,which present excellent Na^(+)/K^(+) storage *** applied as SIBs anode,the specific capacity of 300 mAh·g^(-1) was maintwined after 400 cycles at the current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1).Besides,it could also keep 120 mAh·g^(-1) specific capacity after 900 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(-1) for the anode of *** heterogeneous engineering and one-dimensional-two-dimensional(1D-2D) hybrid strategies could provide an ideal strategy for the synthesis of new hetero-structured anode materials with outstanding battery performance for SIBs and PIBs.

In this study,the deformable titanium(Ti)particles reinforced AZ91 composite was successfully prepared by powder metallurgy and subsequent *** mechanical properties and microstructural evolution of pure AZ91 and 5 Ti/AZ91 composite were *** yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of 5 Ti/AZ91 composite are measured to be 212 MPa,323 MPa,and 10.1%,*** analysis revealed that Ti particles are elongated along the extrusion direction,forming a discontinuous strip Ti particles,fine precipitated Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase inhibits dynamic recrystallization(DRX)behavior through Zener pinning effect and hinders the growth of matrix grains,resulting in refiner grains of 5 Ti/AZ91 *** deformed Ti particles and magnesium(Mg)matrix to generate additional heterogeneous deformation-induced(HDI)*** deformation-induced strengthening mainly contributed to the increment of yield strength for 5 Ti/AZ91 composite.
