β-ray-induced X-ray spectroscopy(BIXS)is a promising method for tritium detection in solid materials because of its unique advantages,such as large detection depth,nondestructive testing capabilities,and low requirements for sample ***,high-accuracy reconstruction of the tritium depth profile remains a significant challenge for this *** this study,a novel reconstruction method based on a backpropagation(BP)neural network algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy,broad applicability,and robust noise resistance is *** average reconstruction error calculated using the BP network(8.0%)was much lower than that obtained using traditional numerical methods(26.5%).In addition,the BP method can accurately reconstruct BIX spectra of samples with an unknown range of tritium and exhibits wide applicability to spectra with various tritium ***,the BP network demonstrates superior accuracy and stability compared to numerical methods when reconstructing the spectra,with a relative uncertainty ranging from 0 to 10%.This study highlights the advantages of BP networks in accurately reconstructing the tritium depth profile from BIXS and promotes their further application in tritium detection.

RBOE is a new type of DNAN-based high-energy melt-cast mixed explosive,whose safety under thermal stimulation is significantly affected by heating conditions and venting area of the *** on the thermal decomposition reaction characteristics and combustion characteristics of each component of RBOE explosive,the cook-off calculation models of RBOE warhead before and after ignition were *** addition,closed and vented warheads were designed,as well as fast and slow cook-off test *** cook-off characteristics and thermal safety venting area of RBOE warhead were extensively *** results showed that the closed RBOE warhead underwent deflagration reaction under both slow and fast cook-off *** calculation result of the shell wall temperature before slow cookoff ignition response of the warhead was 454.06 K,with an error of+1.75%compared to the test result of462.15 K,and the temperature rise rate calculated was in good agreement with the *** calculated ignition time of RBOE warhead under fast cook-off was 161 s,with an error of+8.8%compared to the test result of 148 s,which verified the accuracy of cook-off model of RBOE warhead before *** to the cook-off calculation model of the warhead after ignition and cook-off test of the vented warhead,it was determined that the thermal safety venting area was 1124.61 mm^(2)for fast cook-off and 530.66 mm~2 for slow cook-off,effectively preventing the reaction of warhead above ***,this study provides a scientific basis for the thermal safety design and evaluation of insensitive warheads.

In indirect drive, reducing peak intensity of a single beam and controlling overlap of multi-beams are two opposite requirements for laser focal spot design. In this paper, an improved laser spot design technique for indirect drive built upon the geometric structures of laser propagation into hohlraum has been introduced. The proposed technique is able to generate appropriate continuous phase plate(CPP) producing a special shaped spot that can balance the opposite requirements. The corresponding CPP does not bring difficulties to the design and fabrication. Phase aberrations are more sensitive to the special shaped spot; however, it can be tolerable for the current beam control level.

B2-CuZr phase reinforced amorphous alloy matrix composites has become one of the research hotspots in the field of materials science due to the“transformation-induced plasticity”phenomenon,which makes the composites show better macroscopic plastic deformability and obvious work-hardening behavior compared to the conventional amorphous alloy matrix composites reinforced with ductile ***,the in-situ metastable B2-CuZr phase tends to undergo eutectoid decomposition during solidification,and the volume fraction,size,and distribution of B2-CuZr phase are difficult to control,which limits the development and application of these *** date,much efforts have been made to solve the above problems through composition optimization,casting parameter tailoring,and post-processing *** this study,a review was given based on relevant studies,focusing on the predictive approach,reinforcing mechanism,and microstructure tailoring methods of B2-CuZr phase reinforced amorphous alloy matrix *** research focus and future prospects were also given for the future development of the present composite system.

Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) is a biodegradable and eco-friendly polymer that is increasingly being incorporated into various applications in contemporary society. However, the limited stability of PLA-based products remains a significant challenge for their broader use in various applications. In this study, poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)/poly(D-lactic acid) (PDLA) melt-blown nonwovens were prepared by melt spinning. The structure, thermal properties, thermal stability, biodegradability and crystalline morphology of the melt-blown nonwovens were investigated. DSC and WAXD confirmed the formation of stereocomplex (SC) crystallites in the PLLA matrix. The storage modulus (G '), loss modulus (G ''), and complex viscosity (divided by eta*divided by) of the PLLA/PDLA blend increased with an increase in SC crystallite content. The thermal degradation temperatures of PLLA/PDLA melt-blown nonwovens increased with the incorporation of SC crystallites, and the maximum rate of decomposition increased to 385.5 degrees C, thus enhancing the thermal stability. Compared with neat PLLA melt-blown nonwovens, the hydrophobicity of PLLA/PDLA melt-blown nonwovens was improved, and WCA increased to 139.7 degrees. The SC crystallites were more resistant to degradation by proteinase K compared to neat PLLA. However, the degradation rate of PLLA/PDLA melt-blown nonwovens remained at a high level. This work provides an effective strategy to obtain high-performance PLLA melt-blown nonwovens.

Heterogeneous oxidation by gas-phase oxidants is an important chemical transformation pathway of secondary organic aerosol(SOA)and plays an important role in controlling the abundance,properties,as well as climate and health impacts of ***,our knowledge on this heterogeneous chemistry remains *** this study,the heterogeneous oxidation ofα-pinene ozonolysis SOA by hydroxyl(OH)radicals was investigated under both low and high relative humidity(RH)conditions,with an emphasis on the evolution of molecular composition of SOA and its RH *** is found that the heterogeneous oxidation of SOA at an OH exposure level equivalent to 12 hr of atmospheric aging leads to particle mass loss of 60%at 25%RH and 95%at 90%*** heterogeneous oxidation strongly changes the molecular composition of *** dimer-to-monomer signal ratios increase dramatically with rising OH exposure,in particular under high RH conditions,suggesting that aerosol water stimulates the reaction of monomers with OH radicals more than that of *** addition,the typical SOA tracer compounds such as pinic acid,pinonic acid,hydroxy pinonic acid and dimer esters(e.g.,C17H26O8 and C19H28O7)have lifetimes of several hours against heterogeneous OH oxidation under typical atmospheric conditions,which highlights the need for the consideration of their heterogeneous loss in the estimation of monoterpene SOA concentrations using tracer-based *** study sheds lights on the heterogeneous oxidation chemistry ofmonoterpene SOA andwould help to understand their evolution and impacts in the atmosphere.

Hard carbon(HC)is widely used in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),but its performance has always been limited by lowinitial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)and cycling *** compensation agent is a favorable strategy to make up for the loss of active sodium ions consumed *** it lacks agent that effectively decomposes to increase the active sodium ions as well as regulate carbon defects for decreasing the irreversible sodium ions ***,we propose 1,2-dihydroxybenzene Na salt(NaDB)as a cathode compensation agent with high specific capacity(347.9 mAh g^(-1)),lower desodiation potential(2.4–2.8 V)and high utilization(99%).Meanwhile,its byproduct could functionalize HC with more C=O groups and promote its reversible ***,the presodiation hard carbon(pHC)anode exhibits highly reversible capacity of 204.7 mAh g^(-1) with 98%retention at 5 C rate over 1000 ***,with 5 wt%NaDB initially coated on the Na3V2(PO4)3(NVP)cathode,the capacity retention of NVP + NaDB|HC cell could increase from 22%to 89%after 1000 cycles at 1 C *** work provides a new avenue to improve reversible capacity and cycling performance of SIBs through designing functional cathode compensation agent.

There is considerable potential for integrating transarterial chemoembolization(TACE),programmed death-(ligand)1(PD-[L]1)inhibitors,and molecular targeted treatments(MTT)in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).It is necessary to investigate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of TACE combined with PD-(L)1 inhibitors and MTT in real-world *** this nationwide,retrospective,cohort study,826 HCC patients receiving either TACE plus PD-(L)1 blockades and MTT(combination group,n=376)or TACE monotherapy(monotherapy group,n=450)were included from January 2018 to May *** primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS)according to modified *** secondary outcomes included overall survival(OS),objective response rate(ORR),and *** performed propensity score matching approaches to reduce bias between two *** matching,228 pairs were included with a predominantly advanced disease *** PFS in combination group was 9.5 months(95%confidence interval[CI],8.4-11.0)versus 8.0 months(95%CI,6.6-9.5)(adjusted hazard ratio[HR],0.70,P=0.002).OS and ORR were also significantly higher in combination group(median OS,19.2[16.1-27.3]vs.15.7 months[13.0-20.2];adjusted HR,0.63,P=0.001;ORR,60.1%vs.32.0%;P<0.001).Grade 3/4 adverse events were observed at a rate of 15.8%and 7.5%in combination and monotherapy groups,*** results suggest that TACE plus PD-(L)1 blockades and MTT could significantly improve PFS,OS,and ORR versus TACE monotherapy for Chinese patients with predominantly advanced HCC in real-world practice,with an acceptable safety profile.
