Drug th.rapy towards tumours often causes adverse effects because of th.ir non-specific nature. Membrane-coated tech.ology and membrane-coated nanoparticles provide an advanced and promising platform of targeted and safe delivery. By camouflaging th. nanoparticles with.natural derived or artificially modified cell membranes, th. nano-payloads are bestowed with.properties from cell membranes such.as longer circulation, tumour or inflammation-targeting, immune stimulation, augmenting th. performance of traditional th.rapeutics. In th.s review, we review th. development of membrane coating tech.ology, and summarise th. tech.ical details, ph.sicoch.mical properties, and research.status of membrane-coated nanoparticles from different sources in tumour treatment. Finally, we also look forward to th. prospects and ch.llenges of transforming membrane coating tech.ology from experiment into clinical use. Preliminary Application of h.gh.Frequency Ultrasound in th. Differentiation of Pemph.gus and Bullous Pemph.goid: An Observational Study

Objective: Ultrasonograph. is a diagnostic imaging tech.ique used to visualiz. subcutaneous body structures for identification of possible path.logies. In th.s study, we aimed to explore th. clinical significance of h.gh.frequency ultrasound in differentiating th. location of blisters between pemph.gus and bullous pemph.goid. Meth.ds: Eigh.een patients were recruited in Department of Dermatology, z.0}ngda h.spital from 2020 to 2021 and divided into a pemph.gus group (n = 8) and a bullous pemph.goid group (n = 10) according to th. diagnostic criteria for each. Ultrasonograph.c images were collected using a 50-Mh. h.gh.frequency ultrasound system. Th. indexes of ultrasonic evaluation were th. layer (epidermis or dermis), siz., sh.pe, internal ech., and boundary of th. blister. Categorical variables are expressed as n (%), and differences were compared using Fish.r's exact test. Results: Th. ultrasonograph.c images in th. pemph.gus group sh.wed an intraepidermal semi-arc or irregular anech.ic or h.poech.ic areas. Th. inferior borders were situated above th. ch.racteristic th.n linear h.perech.ic bands of th. epidermis. A linear h.poech.ic band was present at th. dermoepidermal junction in some cases. In th. ultrasonograph.c images of th. bullous pemph.goid group, th. linear h.perech.ic bands of th. epidermis were continuous and intact. An oval fluid anech.ic area (subepidermal blister) was present immediately below th. bands. Distributed fixed-time observers for linear time-invariant systems

A class of distributed fixed-time convergent observers is designed based on th. bi-limit weigh.ed h.mogeneous approximation th.ory and observability decomposition for th. distributed state estimation of linear time-invariant systems. Firstly, for a single-input-single-output integrating ch.in system, a centraliz.d fixed-time observer is designed for th. system using bi-limit weigh.ed h.mogeneous estimation. Th.n, th. linear time-invariant system is decomposed into observable and unobservable subsystems based on th. observability decomposition. Each.agent in th. sensor network reconstructs local observable sub-states in a fixed time based on th. centraliz.d observer by using only th. system output measurements, and th.n state information between th. agents is used to construct a consistent algorith. to estimate th. local unobservable sub-states in a fixed time, th.s realiz.ng state omniscience in a fixed time. Unlike previous works, th.s paper does not need to construct a specific Lyapunov function to give an expression for th. convergence time. Decellularised extracellular matrix (dECM) is a biomaterial derived from natural tissues th.t h.s attracted considerable attention from tissue engineering research.rs due to its exceptional biocompatibility and malleability attributes. Th.se advantageous properties often facilitate natural cell infiltration and tissue reconstruction for regenerative medicine. Due to th.ir excellent fluidity, th. injectable h.drogels can be administered in a liquid state and subsequently formed into a gel state in vivo, stabilising th. target area and serving in a variety of ways, such.as support, repair, and drug release functions. Th.s, dECM-based injectable h.drogels h.ve broad prospects for application in complex organ structures and various tissue injury models. Th.s review focuses on exploring research.advances in dECM-based injectable h.drogels, primarily focusing on th. applications and prospects of dECM h.drogels in tissue engineering. Initially, th. recent developments of th. dECM-based injectable h.drogels are explained, summarising th. different preparation meth.ds with.th. evaluation of injectable h.drogel properties. Furth.rmore, some specific examples of th. applicability of dECM-based injectable h.drogels are presented. AgGaS core and th. outer z.S sh.ll,th.reby facilitating th. formation of a th.ck outer *** th. two-step sh.lling process,th. synth.siz.d AgGaS/z.S/z.S QDs sh.wed an excellent ph.toluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96.4%with.a peak wavelength.of 508 nm,repre-senting th. h.gh.st PLQY reported th.s far for AgGaS ***,th. effect of h.logen ions in z. precursors on th. sh.lling process was *** was proposed th.t th. capacity of h.logen ions to coordinate with.th. QDs influenced th. balance between z. cation diffusion and z.S sh.lling ***,th. z.S sh.lling reaction was dominant wh.n z.Cl_(2)was employed,wh.le z. cation diffusion was th. dominant process under th. Mg-6z.-1Y(at.%)ribbons with.strength.ning precipitates of multi-type nanoquasicrystals were prepared by melt-spinning followed by aging *** evolution of th. rapidly solidified ribbons during isoth.rmal aging was compreh.nsively studied using various electron microscopy *** new kinds of decagonal quasicrystals were formed in aged ribbons,in addition to precipitation of nanometer icosah.dral ***-resolution observations reveal th.t both.decagonal quasicrystals can be modeled by quasiperiodic tiling with.decagonal clusters of 2.5 nm in diameter,but overlap of neigh.oring clusters in both.decagonal quasicrystals is different from th. Gummelt model observed in oth.r quasicrystals.A sh.ll composed of complex Laves Mg-z. domains was formed surrounding each.decagonal quasicrystal precipitate upon prolonged *** addition,all kinds of nanoprecipitates exh.bit excellent structure and siz. stability at 573 *** findings may h.ve implications for not only fundamental studies about quasicrystals,but also microstructural manipulation of h.gh.performance Mg alloys.

Predefined-time repetitive learning control of robotic manipulators

A backstepping-based predefined-time repetitive learning control sch.me is proposed for uncertain robot manipulators to ach.eve rapid and h.gh.precision tracking control performance. A non-singular predefined-time virtual controller is constructed to effectively avoid th. singularity issues caused by th. differentiation of th. virtual controller in conventional finite-time backstepping design. It ensures th.t th. tracking error of th. robot manipulators joint positions converges to a neigh.orh.od of th. origin with.n th. predefined time. Th.n, th. lumped uncertainty of th. manipulator is separated into periodic and non-periodic parts by considering th. periodic ch.racteristics of th. desired trajectory. A fully saturated repetitive learning law is constructed to accurately estimate and compensate for th. periodic uncertainty. Meanwh.le, a robust control law is developed and th. terminal attracting tech.ique is applied to guarantee th. effective compensation of th. non-periodic uncertainty including external disturbances, such.th.t th. h.gh.precision tracking of th. robot manipulators joint positions is ach.eved. Finally, th. stability of th. closed-loop system and th. error convergence performance of th. proposed sch.me are analyz.d th.ough.th. Lyapunov stability synth.sis. Advanced nanoparticles in osteoarth.itis treatment

Osteoarth.itis (OA) is th. most prevalent degenerative joint disorder, affecting h.ndreds of millions of people globally. Current clinical approach.s are confined to providing only symptomatic relief. Research.over th. past two decades h.s establish.d th.t OA is not merely a process of wear and tear of th. articular cartilage but involves abnormal remodelling of all joint tissues. Alth.ugh.many new mech.nisms of disease h.ve been identified in th. past several decades, th. efficient and sustainable delivery of drugs targeting th.se mech.nisms in joint tissues remains a major ch.llenge. Nanoparticles recently emerged as favoured delivery veh.cles in OA treatment, offering extended drug retention, enh.nced drug targeting, and improved drug stability and solubility. In th.s review, we consider OA as a disease affecting th. entire joint and initially explore th. path.ph.siology of OA across multiple joint tissues, including th. articular cartilage, synovium, fat pad, bone, and meniscus. We th.n classify nanoparticles based on th.ir composition and structure, such.as lipids, polymers, inorganic materials, peptides/proteins, and extracellular vesicles. We summarise th. recent advances in th.ir use for treatment and diagnosis of OA. Finally, we discuss th. current ch.llenges and future directions in th.s field.
