Background:As a surrogate marker of systemic inflammation,the lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio(LMR) is an independent prognostic factor for various *** study investigated the prognostic significance of the pre-chemotherapy LMR in patients with previously untreated metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC) receiving ***:The present study included newly diagnosed mCRC patients treated between January 2005 and December 2013 with FOLFOX chemotherapy,specifically oxaliplatin 180 mg/m^2 on day 1,with leucovorin 400 mg/m^2administered as a 2-hour infusion before the administration of 5-fluorouracil 400 mg/m^2 as an intravenous bolus injection,and 5-fluorouracil 2400 mg/m^2 as a 46-h infusion immediately after 5-fluorouracil bolus *** LMR was calculated as the absolute count of lymphocytes divided by the absolute count of *** proportional hazards analysis was performed to evaluate the association of LMR with survival ***:A total of 488 patients were *** with high pre-chemotherapy LMR experienced significant improvements in progression-free survival(PFS,9.2 vs.7.6 months,P 3.11) was an independent favorable prognostic factor for PFS and ***,patients whose LMR remained high(high-high subgroup),increased(low-high subgroup),or decreased(high-low subgroup) following chemotherapy showed better results in terms of PFS and OS than patients whose LMR remained low(low-low subgroup) after ***:For patients with previously untreated mCRC receiving FOLFOX chemotherapy,an elevated pre-chemotherapy LMR is an independent favorable prognostic factor for PFS and OS,and changes in the LMR before and after chemotherapy seem to predict the benefit of chemotherapy.

Biofouling has been a persistent problem in marine riser system, resulting in energy waste and equipment damage. Inthis study, a kind of water wave-driven contact-mode flexible triboelectric nanogeneration has been prepared byusing graphene-doped PDMS as dielectric friction material. When the graphene content is 2%, the average outputvoltage can reach 46 V under the contact frequency 10 Hz. The flexible triboelectric nanogeneration encapsulationmodule is impinged by water waves to generate alternating microelectric field on the riser surface and destroy theadhesion conditions of microorganisms during the biofilm stage. In the biofouling experiments at different stages, thebiofouling area of the platymonas subcordiformis has been reduced by 53%, 62% and 61%. It provides a new ideafor effective treatment of biofouling of mussels, oysters and barnacles attached to risers.

Ionic conductivity is one of the crucial parameters for inorganic solid-state *** explore the relationship between porosity and ionic conductivity,a series of Li_(6.4)Ga_(0.2)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12) garnet type solid-state electrolytes with different porosities were prepared via solid-state *** on the quantified data,an empirical decay relationship was summarized and discussed by means of mathematical model and dimensional analysis *** suggests that open porosity causes ionic conductivity to decrease *** pre-exponential factor obeys the Arrhenius Law quite well with the activation energy of 0.23 eV,and the decay constant is averaged to be 2.62%.While the closed porosity causes ionic conductivity to decrease *** slope and intercept of this linear pattern also obey the Arrhenius Law and the activation energies are 0.24 and 0.27 eV,***,the total porosity is linearly dependent on the open porosity,and different sintering conditions will lead to different linear patterns with different slopes and intercepts.

Autonomous indoor humidity control is gaining more and more attention but is limited by the trade-offs among pore volume,pore size and water stability of water *** solve this problem by using a unique coordination network topology combined with hydrolytically stable M(Ⅲ)carboxylate *** extending the ligand length from 9.0 to 11.2 and 13.7?,the pore volume significantly increases from 0.99 to 1.40 and 1.78 cm^(3)g^(-1),which proportionally increases the saturated water adsorption ***,the pore size slightly increases from 10.4 to 11.0 and 13.5A,which restricts the isotherm inflection pressure and hysteresis width to meet the requirement of indoor humidity *** single-crystals suitable for Xray diffraction studies were obtained by using Fe(Ⅲ)salts,while isostructural frameworks with sufficiently high water stabilities were synthesized by using Cr(Ⅲ)salts,which offer record working capacity of 0.90 and 1.10 g g^(-1)for indoor humidity control.

The poor thermal stability and high sensitivity severely hinder the practical application of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane(CL-20).Herein,a kind of novel core@double-shell CL-20 based energetic composites were fabricated to address the above *** coordination complexes which consist of natural polyphenol tannic acid(TA) and Fe~Ⅲ were chosen to construct the inner shell,while the graphene sheets were used to build the outer *** resulting CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites exhibited simultaneously improved thermal stability and safety performance with only 1 wt% double-shell content,which should be ascribed to the intense physical encapsulation effect from inner shell combined with the desensitization effect of carbon nano-materials from outer *** phase transition(ε to γ) temperature increased from 173.70 ℃ of pure CL-20 to 191.87℃ of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene ***,the characteristic drop height(H_(50)) dramatically increased from 14.7 cm of pure CL-20 to112.8 cm of CL-20/TA-Fe~Ⅲ/graphene composites,indicating much superior safety performance after the construction of the double-shell *** general,this work has provided an effective and versatile strategy to conquer the thermal stability and safety issues of CL-20 and contributes to the future application of high energy density energetic materials.

Fast neutron absorption spectroscopy is widely used in the study of nuclear structure and element analysis. However,due to the traditional neutron source pulse duration being of the order of nanoseconds, it is difficult to obtain a high-resolution absorption spectrum. Thus, we present a method of ultrahigh energy-resolution absorption spectroscopy via a high repetition rate, picosecond duration pulsed neutron source driven by a terawatt laser. The technology of single neutron count is used, which results in easily distinguishing the width of approximately 20 keV at 2 MeV and an asymmetric shape of the neutron absorption peak. The absorption spectroscopy based on a laser neutron source has one order of magnitude higher energy-resolution power than the state-of-the-art traditional neutron sources, which could be of benefit for precisely measuring nuclear structure data.

The shuttle effect of polysulfides is one of the key factors hindering the commercialization of lithiumsulfur batteries(LSBs).Owing to their high conductivity and advantageous structure,heterostructures can be used in sulfur fixation and catalysis of *** this study,a flower-shaped ZnO/ZnS heterostructure on a nitrogendoped porous carbon(NPC) sulfur host was *** ZnO/ZnS heterostructure regulates the electronic structure of the material and exhibits higher metal-like ***,the ZnO/ZnS heterostructure combines the strong adsorption property of ZnO and the high catalytic ability of ZnS to realize the anchoring-diffusionconversion of lithium poly sulfides(LiPSs).Results reveal that the developed ZnO/ZnS@NPC/S cathode has excellent electrochemical performance in LSBs,achieving a high discharge specific capacity of 1365.3 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1C and excellent rate capability(719 mAh·g^(-1) at 2C;the capacity decay rate is only 0.042% per cycle after 1000 cycles).Even under a high sulfur loading-E/S(electrolyte/sulfur)ratio of 5.1 mg·cm^(-2)-6 μl·mg^(-1),a high specific capacity of 723.7 mAh·g^(-1) is maintained after 60 *** study provides a new strategy for a multifunctional sulfur host that can effectively alleviate the shuttle effect of LiPSs and improve the utilization of sulfur active substances.

In extended-reach or long-horizontal drilling,cuttings usually deposit at the bottom of the *** cuttings accumulate to a certain thickness,complex problems such as excessive torque and drag,tubing buckling,and pipe stuck probably occur,which results in a lot of non-productive time and remedial *** bed remover can efficiently destroy deposited cuttings in time through hydraulic and mechanical stirring *** paper aims to build a method for hole cleaning evaluation and installation spacing optimization of cuttings bed remover to improve the wellbore cleaning ***,a Computational Fluid Dynamics approach with Eulerian—Eulerian multiphase model was utilized to investigate the mechanism of cuttings transportation,and a new type of cuttings bed remover was ***,an evaluation method of hole cleaning effect of remover was *** that,the effects of several drilling parameters on hole cleaning including flow rate of drilling fluid,rotational speed of drillpipe,rate of penetration,wellbore size,rheological property of drilling fluid,and remover eccentricity on the performance of cuttings bed remover were *** results demonstrate that the new type of remover with streamline blade performs better than conventional *** efficiency of hole cleaning is greatly improved by increasing the rotational speed of drillpipe,flow rate of drilling fluid,remover eccentricity,and 6 rpm Fann dial reading for drilling *** higher rate of penetration and large wellbore size result in worse hole *** findings can serve as an important guide for the structure optimization design of cuttings bed remover and installation spacing of removers.
