Fungal phytochemicals derived from higher fungi,particularly those from the culinary-medicinal genus Hericium,have gained significant attention in drug discovery and *** review aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the chemical structures,biosynthetic pathways,biological activities,and pharmacological properties of monomeric compounds isolated from Hericium *** the past 34 years,253 metabolites have been identified from various Hericium species,including cyathane diterpenes,alkaloids,benzofurans,chromenes,phenols,pyrones,steroids,and other miscellaneous *** investigations into the biosynthesis of erinacines,a type of cyathane diterpene,have led to the discovery of novel cyathane *** research has highlighted the biological activities and pharmacological properties of Hericium-derived compounds,with particular emphasis on their neuroprotective and neurotrophic effects,immunomodulatory capabilities,anti-cancer activity,antioxidant properties,and antimicrobial *** A,in particular,has been extensively ***,transcriptomic,and proteomic analyses of Hericium species have facilitated the discovery of new compounds and provided insights into enzymatic reactions through genome *** diverse chemical structures and biological activities of Hericium compounds underpin their potential applications in medicine and as dietary *** review not only advances our understanding of Hericium compounds but also encourages further research into Hericium species within the realms of medicine,health,functional foods,and agricultural *** broad spectrum of compound types and their diverse biological activities present promising opportunities for the development of new pharmaceuticals and edible products.

Indole diterpenoids(IDTs)are an essential class of structurally diverse fungal secondary metabolites,that generally appear to be restricted to a limited number of fungi,such as Penicillium,Aspergillus,Claviceps,and Epichloe species,*** compounds share a typical core structure consisting of a cyclic diterpene skeleton of geranylgeranyl diphos-phate(GGPP)and an indole ring moiety derived from indole-3-glycerol phosphate(IGP).3-geranylgeranylindole(3-GGI)is the common precursor of all *** this basis,it is modified by cyclization,oxidation,and prenylation to generate a large class of compounds with complex *** compounds exhibit antibacterial,anti-insect,and ion channel inhibitory *** summarized 204 compounds of IDTs discovered from various fungi over the past 50 years,these compounds were reclassified,and their biological activities were *** review will help to understand the structural diversity of IDTs and provide help for their physiological activities.

Cyathane diterpenoids, a class of natural products derived from fungal sources, exhibit a prominent 5/6/7 tricyclic ring structure. Some cyathane diterpenoids are intricately fused with xylose to form complex polycyclic cyathane-xylosides [1]. These compounds exhibit excellent neuroprotective and neurotrophic activities, as well as significant anti-neuroinflammatory properties, showing great potential in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases [2]. Previous studies have shown that the biosynthesis of cyathane diterpenoids involves the formation of the 5/6/7 tricyclic skeleton followed by subsequent modifications by cytochrome P450, acyltransferases and glycosyltransferases. In recent years, the increasing pressure of an aging society has aroused considerable interest in the chemistry, biology, biosynthesis, and total synthesis of cyathane diterpenoids. This growing interest has led to a rapid expansion of research in this field. Our team has conducted systematic research on the natural products of cyathane diterpenoid types found in various macrofungal species, including the genus Cyathus, Hericium, Sarcodon, and others. More than 200 compounds of this class have been isolated and identified, of which more than 80 are newly discovered cyathane diterpenoids, accounting for one-fifth of the total. These structurally diverse cyathane diterpenoids include different types such as polycyclic cyathane-xylosides, 1-4 macrocycles, and 4-9 macrocycles, and their activities against neurodegenerative diseases have been extensively characterized. Currently, over 20 papers on this topic have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Pharmacol Res, J. Agric. Food, and J. Nat. Prod.

Indole alkaloids are remarkable diversity of specialized secondary metabolites from filamentous fungi with extensive structural diversity,which play diverse ecological roles in fungal defense,virulence,and *** diterpenes are representative myotoxic natural substances in indole alkaloids,which have a wide range of biological activities,such as inhibition of calcium-activated potassium channels,progesterone receptor agonistic activity,and tremorgenic ***,many of the pathways and mechanisms for Indole diterpenes biosynthesis have been elucidated by heterologous expression in the Aspergillus *** method has attracted the interest of many research laboratories [1,2].In this report,a fungal strain was isolated previously from Fu brick tea by our group and identified by ITS as Eurotium *** metabolites were detected via liquid chromatography–high-resolution mass spectrometry after liquid culture,and a series of compounds including cristatumins with a cyclic dipeptide backbone formed by tryptophan and alanine were identified using the Global Natural Product Social Molecular Networking(GNPS).Analysis of the genome lead to discover the gene that may be responsible for the diketopiperazines backbone,which was cloned and introduced into *** NSAR1 for heterologous expression,resulting in the production of a cyclic dipeptide formed by tryptophan and *** study is the first to use the *** system to achieve the heterologous production of an important molecular backbone cyclic dipeptide.

Electromagnetic Environmental Impact of 500-kV Double -Circuit Transmission Lines

The strength of the power frequency electric intensity and magnetic field of the 500-kV double circuit transmission lines was calculated by using the equivalent charge method and the Ampere's Law, and the environmental impact factors of the fields were evaluated. By optimizing the phase sequence, the frequency electric intensity and magnetic field strength can be reduced. Within a distance of 25 m from the center of the transmission line, the power frequency electric intensity and magnetic field strength fall off sharply with the distance increase. Finally, the best phase sequence and the minimum ground clearance of the transmission lines were obtained to meet the requirements of the least impact on envionment.

Friction between Strongly Compressed Polymer Brushes

We present the results of molecular dynamics simulations of steady shear between a pair of neutral polymer brushes,as well as a pair of charged polymer brushes in the strongly compressed *** results of the molecular dynamic simulations of neutral and polyelectrolyte brushes in implicit solvent including normal forces,shear forces,viscosities and friction coefficients as a function of separation between brushes,are presented in the *** comparison of the simulation results of neutral and charged brushes shows that the charged brushes is in the quasi-neutral regime,and the dependence of viscosity on the separation distance show the similar power law of neutral *** simulation results confirm that the implicit solvent simulations of polyelectrolyte brushes that ignore hydrodynamics interaction are in agreement with the scaling predictions qualitatively because of screening of hydrodynamic interaction and long-range electrostatic interactions on the correlation length *** of neutral and charged brushes show the lubrication properties that the friction coefficient decreases with the separation decreases at enough large ***,a maximum of friction coefficients is observed for polyelectrolyte brushes,which is in contrast to the neutral brushes with monotonical dependence.
