The development of drug delivery systems with high drug-loading efficiency, kinetic stability against dilution, as well as enhanced anticancer activity is of crucial importance to the fields of self-assembly and nanomedicine. Herein, we propose a strategy where the anticancer peptide acts as water-soluble monomer to directly participate in emulsion interfacial polymerization for fabricating polypeptide nanospheres. The constructed polypeptide nanospheres hold a high drug loading efficiency of 77%, and can be stably dispersed in highly diluted aqueous solutions. The acid-labile amide linkage in polypeptide nanospheres can be hydrolyzed in tumor acidic environments, thus releasing anticancer peptides selectively. The polypeptide nanospheres achieve significantly enhanced anticancer activity against HCT116 cells in vitro and in vivo through improved mitochondrial and membrane disruption. In addition, its side effects on normal cells can be reduced significantly. It is highly anticipated that more kinds of anticancer drug candidates or anticancer drugs can be applied to fabricate polymeric nanomedicines with improved anticancer activity through this strategy.

Alloying/doping is a widely used technique for improving the electrical, mechanical, and optical properties of ***, this technology induces significant distortions in the lattice structure, mass distribution, and potential field, greatly enhancing phonon scattering. Here, we introduce the concept of alloying/doping path and employ crystal symmetry, lattice deformation, and electron distribution to characterize it. Based on this new concept, the phonon thermal transport behavior in alloyed/doped materials can be well designed, and along different alloying/doping paths, the difference in thermal conductivity can be up to 45 times. On one hand, strategic alloying/doping that combines high crystal symmetry, large lattice contraction, and the same electron distribution suppresses phonon-phonon scattering phase space, induces phonon stiffening, and bolsters electronic structure symmetry, respectively. These synergistic effects significantly improve thermal conductivity. On the other hand, random alloying/doping has a low symmetry, leading to the typical “U” shape of alloying/doping level-dependent thermal conductivity. Our theory is corroborated in three-dimensional（3.） Si, 2. MoS2. and quasi-1D TiS3. affirming its efficacy and broad applicability in controlling phonon transport.

Continuously growing populations and rapid economic development have led to the excessive use of forest resources,and the forest ecosystem is *** response,forest ecological security(FES)has attracted *** this study,an integrated dynamic simulation model was constructed using the system dynamic method,and it was used to evaluate the FES in china.from 1999 to 2.14.A scenario analysis was then used to evaluate the changes in the FES under five forestry policy scenarios for the 2.15–2.50 period,including the baseline,afforestation policy,harvesting policies,management policy,investment policy,and a policy *** results showed that the evaluation values of the FES increased during the period from 1999 to 2.02.the period from 2.04 to 2.10 and the year 2.14,and they decreased in 2.03.and during the period from 2.11 to *** the 2.15–2.50 simulation period,the FES improved *** particular,china.would enter a new stage when the economic {3.,social {3. and eco{3. were in harmony after *** improve the FES and the current status of the FES,a scenario analysis showed the most suitable scenario to be Scenario 5 from 2.15 to 2.2. and Scenario 2.from 2.2. to *** relieve pressure,the most suitable scenario would be Scenario 5 from 2.15 to 2.40 and from 2.46 to 2.50,and the most suitable scenario would be Scenario 4 for 2.41–2.45.A policy mix(Scenario 5)would be most efficient under current conditions,while the effects of all the benefits of the forestry policies would weaken over the long *** integrated method can be regarded as a decision support tool to help policy makers understand FES and promulgate a reasonable forestry policy.

为探寻生物量分配对不同土壤水分和种植密度互作的响应规律,为生产管理中通过种植密度和土壤含水量耦合管理来调控植物生物量分配,提高水分利用效率和植物生产力,完善植物适应环境因素的机制研究,本研究以紫花苜蓿(Medicago sativa)为材料,通过盆栽试验分析了不同土壤水分85%~90%(W_(1))、75%~80%(W_(2.)、60%~65%(W_(3.)、3.%~40%(W_(4))的土壤饱和含水量和不同种植密度10(D_(1))、15(D_(2.)、2.(D_(3.)株·盆^(−1)对紫花苜蓿生物量分配的影响。结果表明,土壤水分显著影响紫花苜蓿的叶生物量、茎生物量、单株地上生物量、地上生物量、地下生物量、根冠比(P<0.05),随土壤水分的减少,均呈先增加后降低趋势,峰值均出现在土壤水分含量为土壤饱和含水量的75%~80%时。种植密度显著影响紫花苜蓿单株地上生物量、地下生物量和根冠比(P<0.05),随种植密度增大,单株地上生物量呈先增高后降低趋势,种植密度为15株·盆^(−1)时,地下生物量和根冠比则呈增高趋势。土壤水分和种植密度互作只显著影响了紫花苜蓿的单株地上生物量(P<0.05),在土壤水分为土壤饱和含水量的75%~80%,种植密度为15株·盆^(−1)时,紫花苜蓿单株地上生物量有最大值,为5.00 g。这一结果说明紫花苜蓿可以通过调节地上、地下生物量的分配来适应土壤水分和种植密度条件,提高其水分利用效率和产量。

We retrospectively investigated 68 parturients with or without COVID-19 undergone emergency cesarean section with combined spinal-epidural anesthesia(CSEA)from a single tertiary university hospital in Wuhan,*** cases were divided into 2.groups:patients with COVID-19 pneumonia(Group 1)and cases without COVID-19 pneumonia(Group 2..The patients in Group 1 were later divided into 2.groups:patients with low-angiotensin converting enzyme(ACE)(Group 3.and patients with normal-ACE(Group 4).The ACE levels,blood pressure and anesthesia {2. between the patients of Group 1 and Group 2.Group 3.and Group 4 were recorded as the primary *** secondary outcome included perioperative symptoms,laboratory parameters and vital *** with Group 2.the patients in Group 1 had different ACE level and lower blood pressure after *** with Group 4,the patients in Group 3.showed lower SBP after CSEA(12. vs.13. mm Hg,p=0.02.),accompanied with more partus matures and younger age(2. vs.3.1}years,p=0.007).ACE may be a possible biomarker to predict the anesthesia effects on patients with COVID-19 infections undergoing emergency cesarean delivery.

Gut microbiota play important roles in the immunity,digestion,and energy meta bolism of their reptile *** pit viper(Protobothrops mangshanensis)is a critically endangered snake species that is a Class I national protected species in *** is known regarding the relationship between *** and their gut microbial *** this study,the gut microbiota of wild *** individuals,artificially hiberna ting captive individuals,and non-hibernating captive individuals were compared across nine *** shotgun metagenomic analysis was used to investigate the taxonomic composition,diversity,and function of *** gut microbial communities and assess whether their gut microbiomes were affected by their living environments and captivity *** dominant phyla within *** gut microbial communities were Proteobacteria(65.55%),Bacteroidetes(15.97%),and Firmicutes(8.11%).Enriched functional pathways within the gut microbiota included meta bolism(54.9%),environmental information processing(9.67%),and genetic information processing(9.3.%).Wild snake gut communities exhibited higher microbial diversity than the other two *** gut microbiomes of wild and hibernating captive snakes may be more reflective of healthy intestinal homeostasis than that in nonhibernating ***,non-hibernating snakes exhibited increased levelsof potentially pathogenic populations and functional specialization within gut microbial ***,different livingenvironments and captivitymethodsmay correspond to major shifts in microbiota composition,diversity,and function within *** study provides important insights to help guide the conservation of ***,while also carrying broad implications for our understanding of the effects of living environments and non-hibernating captivity conditions on the gut microbiota of snakes.

This paper proposes a decentralized demand management approach to reduce the energy bill of industrial park and improve its economic gains.A demand management model for industrial park considering the integrated demand response of combined heat and power(CHP)units and thermal storage is firstly ***,by increasing the electricity outputs of CHP units during peak-load periods,not only the peak demand charge but also the energy charge can be *** thermal storage can efficiently utilize the waste heat provided by CHP units and further increase the flexibility of CHP *** heat dissipation of thermal storage,thermal delay effect,and heat losses of heat pipelines are considered for ensuring reliable solutions to the industrial *** proposed model is formulated as a multi-period alternating current(AC)optimal power flow problem via the second-order conic programming *** alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)algorithm is used to compute the proposed demand management model in a distributed manner,which can protect private data of all participants while achieving solutions with high *** case studies validate the effectiveness of the proposed demand management approach in reducing peak demand charge,and the performance of the ADMM-based decentralized computation algorithm in deriving the same optimal results of demand management as the centralized approach is also validated.

Phototheranostic with highly integrated functions is an attractive platform for cancer management. It remains challenging to develop a facile phototheranostic platform with complementary bimodal imaging and combinational therapy capacity. Herein, the small-molecule cyanine IR780 loaded liposomes have been harnessed as a nanoplatform to simultaneously realize photoacoustic(PA)/the second near-infrared window(NIR-Ⅱ) fluorescence imaging and image-guided surgery/adjuvant photothermal therapy(PTT).This nanoplatform exhibits attractive properties like uniform controllable size, stable dispersibility, NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence emission, photothermal conversion, and biocompatibility. Benefiting from the complementary PA/NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence bimodal imaging, this nanoplatform was successfully applied in precise vasculature delineation and tumor diagnosis. Interestingly, the tumor was clearly detected by NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging with the highest tumor-to-normal-tissue ratio up to 12.69, while signal interference from the liver was significantly reduced, due to the difference in the elimination rate of the nanoplatform in the liver and tumor. Under the precise guidance of the image, the tumor was accurately resected, and the simulated residual lesion after surgery was completely ablated by adjuvant PTT. This combined therapy showed improved antitumor efcacy over the individual surgery or PTT. This work develops a facile phototheranostic nanoplatform with great significance in accurately diagnosing and effectively treating tumors using simple NIR light irradiation.
