Background:The downstaging of hepatocellular carcinoma(hcC)has been confirmed to benefit liver transplantation(LT)patients whose tumors are beyond the transplantation *** criteria(MC),a tumor size and number-based assessment,is currently used as the endpoint in these ***,many studies believe that tumor biological behavior should be added to the evaluation criteria for downstaging ***,this study aimed to explore the feasibility of Hangzhou criteria(hc),which introduced tumor grading and alpha-fetoprotein in addition to tumor size and number,as an endpoint of ***:We performed a multicenter and retrospective study of 206 patients accepted locoregional therapy(LRT)as downstaging/bridge treatment prior to LT in three centers of ***:Recipients were divided into four groups:failed downstaging to the hc(group A,n=46),successful downstaging to the hc(group B,n=30),remained within the hc all the time(group C,n=113),and tumor progressed(group D,n=17).The 3-year hcC recurrence probabilities of groups B and C were not significantly different(10.3%vs.11.6%,P=0.87).The hcC recurrent rate was significantly higher in group A(52.3%)compared with that in group B/C(Phc were successfully downstaged to the MC,and 39.5%(30/76)to the the *** group B,23 patients remained beyond the MC and their survivals were as well as those of patients within the ***:Compared to the MC,hc downstaging criteria can give more hcC patients access to LT and furthermore,the outcome of these patients is the same as those matching MC downstaging *** downstaging criteria therefore is applicable in clinical practice.

Dear Editor,Chikungunya virus(CHIKV),an arbovirus in the family of Togaviridae,genus Alphavirus,is transmitted by the *** or *** mosquito,and causes disease in humans characterized by fever,rash,and arthralgia(Silva and Dermody 2017;Suhrbier 2019).It was first reported in 1953 in Tanzania,and caused only a few outbreaks and sporadic cases in Africa and Asia in last ***,in the epidemic in 2004,CHIKV acquired mutations that conferred enhanced transmission by the *** mosquito(Schuffenecker et al.2006).Since then,it has successively caused outbreaks in Africa,the Indian Ocean,South East Asia,the South America,and Europe(Zeller et al.2016).

Building-integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) is an important application way of solar photovoltaic power. The electric vehicle(EV) charging and parking shed of BIPV is the regeneration energy intellectual integration demonstration application system collection of photovoltaic(PV) grid power,PV off- grid power,EV charging and parking shed,and any part of the functions and their combination will be engaged in practical application on demand. The paper describes the PV shed system structure and design in detail with the present of its actual photos. The shed is 50 m long and 5.5 m wide and capable of parking 18 cars. Under the control of system intellectual controller,the power produced by PV from sunlight will charge the parking EV car prior to charging the storage battery,charging the storage battery prior to grid power,grid power at last,and charge the EV by utility grid when it is a cloudy or rainy day.

Somatic cell genetics is a powerful approach for unraveling the regulatory mechanism ofcholesterol ***,it is difficult to identify the mutant gene(s)due to cellsare usually mutagenized chemically or *** identify important genes controllingcholesterol biosynthesis,an unbiased forward genetics approach named validation-basedinsertional mutagenesis(VBIM)system was used to isolate and characterize the 25-hydroxycholesterol(25-hc)-resistant and SR-12813-resisitant *** we report thatfive mutant cell lines were *** which,four sterol-resistant mutants either containa truncated NH2-terminal domain of sterol regulatory element-binding protein(SREBP)-2 terminating at amino acids(aa)400,or harbor an overexpressed SREBP cleavage-activating protein(SCAP).Besides,one SR-12813 resistant mutant was identified tocontain a truncated COOH-terminal catalytic domain of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutarylcoenzymeA reductase(HMG-CoA reductase).This study demonstrates that the VBIM systemcan be a powerful tool to screen novel regulatory genes in cholesterol biosynthesis.

Hydrolytic rate constants of p-substituted phenol esters of carboxylic acids with various chain lengths were measured in 1:1 （v/v） Me2SO-H2O. Amylose accelerates the hydrolytic rates of all substrates, but the catalytic patterns are different for long and short chain substrates, i. e., acetates （2-X） show 2nd order kinetics, dodecanoates, （12-X） and hexadecanoates （16-X） follow Michaelis- Menten saturation kinetics. The dissociation constants Kdof inclusion complexes are dependent on the chain length of substrates. The rate constants kun, kobs, k2and kcof 12-X and 2-X conform to the Hammett relation, the ρ values are almost the same, whether in the presence or absence of amylose. But kun, kobsand kcvalues of 16-X all cannot be correlated by the Hammett equation because of the aggregation and self-coiling of 16-X in this poor solvent. Thermodynamic parameters ΔHiand ΔSiof the inclusion process and activation parameters Δhc≠and ΔSc≠were obtained from the temperature dependence of Kdand kc. The results indicate that the formation of inclusion com- plexes between amylose and substrates is an entropy disfavored and enthalpy favored process. Com- parison of Δhc≠, ΔSc≠with ΔHun≠and ΔSun≠shows that the acceleration of hydrolysis of long chain substrates by amylose is caused by the formation of helical inclusion complexes.

Recently, 12442 system of Fe-based superconductors has attracted considerable attention owing to its unique double-Fe As-layer structure. A steep increase in the in-plane upper critical field with cooling has been observed near the superconducting transition temperature, Tc, in KCa2Fe4As4F2 single crystals. Herein, we report a high-field investigation on upper critical field of this material over a wide temperature range, and both out-of-plane(H∥c, hc2c) and in-plane(H∥ab, hc2ab ) directions have been measured.A sublinear temperature-dependent behavior is observed for the out-of-plane hc2c , whereas strong convex curvature with cooling is observed for the in-plane hc2ab . Such behaviors could not be described by the conventional Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg(WHH) model. The data analysis based on the WHH model by considering the spin aspects reveals a large Maki parameter α=9,indicating that the in-plane upper critical field is affected by a very strong Pauli paramagnetic effect.

Inthomycins are polyketide antibiotics which contain a terminal carboxamide group and a triene chain. Inthomycin B(1) and its two new analogues 2 and 3 were isolated from the crude extract of Streptomyces pactum L8. Identification of the gene cluster for inthomycin biosynthesis as well as the ^(15)N-labeled glycine incorporation into inthomycins are described. Combined with the gene deletion of the rare P450 domain in the NRPS module, a formation mechanism of carboxamide moiety in inthomycins was proposed via an oxidative release of the assembly chain assisted by the P450 domain.

Objectives: To obtain very end full-length cDNA ofhepatitis C virus (hcV) 5’ untranslated region(5’UTR) and analyze its primary and ***: A patient infected genotype 2a hcV wasidentified by reverse transcription-nested polymerasechain reaction (RT-PCR) and restriction fragmentlength polymorphism (RFLP). Total RNA isolatedfrom the serum was used as template, and the cDNAof the 5’ untranslated region was amplified using rap-id amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). The frag-ments were recombinated by A-T clone strategy, andthe recombinants were confirmed by RFLP andPCR, and sequenced subsequently. Secondary struc-tures were analysed by ***: Very end full-length cDNA of genotype 2ahcV 5’ UTR was obtained by RACE. In five clonesobtained, three contained full-length 5’UTR cDNA;A21G, G170A, T222C, T247C, C339T substitutionswere found as compared to hc-J6. Homological re-sults of hcV-1, hc-J6, hc-C2, hc-J8 were 93.6%-94.4%, 92.1%-93%, 98.8%-99.7%, 96.2%-96.5%, respectively; however, the substitutions didnot alter secondary structure. Two of 5 clones weredeletions of 53bp and 135bp at the 5’terminal ofhcV 5’UTR, ***: RACE can be used to obtain the full-length cDNA of 2a genotype hcV 5’UTR. Genes de-leted at the 5’ terminal of hcV circulate in hepatitisC patients.
