Ethylene glycol(EG)plays a pivotal role as a primary raw material in the polyester industry,and the syngas-to-EG route has become a significant technical route in *** carbon monoxide(CO)gas-phase catalytic coupling to synthesize dimethyl oxalate(DMO)is a crucial process in the syngas-to-EG route,whereby the composition of the reactor outlet exerts influence on the ultimate quality of the EG product and the energy consumption during the subsequent separation ***,measuring product quality in real time or establishing accurate dynamic mechanism models is *** effectively model the DMO synthesis process,this study proposes a hybrid modeling strategy that integrates process mechanisms and data-driven *** CO gas-phase catalytic coupling mechanism model is developed based on intrinsic kinetics and material balance,while a long short-term memory(LSTM)neural network is employed to predict the macroscopic reaction rate by leveraging temporal relationships derived from archived *** proposed model is trained semi-supervised to accommodate limited-label data scenarios,leveraging historical *** integrating these predictions with the mechanism model,the hybrid modeling approach provides reliable and interpretable forecasts of mass *** investigations unequivocally validate the superiority of the proposed hybrid modeling approach over conventional data-driven models(DDMs)and other hybrid modeling techniques.

Observation-based method for O_(3)formation sensitivity research is an important tool to analyze the causes of ground-level O_(3)pollution,which has broad application potentials in determining the O_(3)pollution formation mechanism and developing prevention and control *** paper outlined the development history of research on O_(3)formation sensitivity based on observational methods,described the principle and applicability of the methodology,summarized the relative application results in China and provided recommendations on the prevention and control of O_(3)pollution in China based on relevant study results,and finally pointed out the shortcomings and future development prospects in this field in *** overview study showed that the O_(3)formation sensitivity in some urban areas in China in recent years presented a gradual shifting tendency from the VOC-limited regime to the transition regime or the NO_(x)-limited regime due to the implementation of the O_(3)precursors emission reduction policies;O_(3)pollution control strategies and precursor control countermeasures should be formulated based on local conditions and the dynamic control capability of O_(3)pollution control measures should be *** are still some current deficiencies in the study field in ***,it is recommended that a stereoscopic monitoring network for atmospheric photochemical components should be further constructed and improved;the atmospheric chemical mechanisms should be vigorously developed,and standardized methods for determining the O_(3)formation sensitivity should be established in China in the near future.

Biomineralization through microbial process has attracted great attention in the field of geotechnical engineering due to its ability to bind granular materials,clog pores,and seal *** minerals formed by biomineralization are generally the same as that by mineralization,their mechanical behaviors show a significant *** study aims to figure out the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes by visualizing and tracking the formation of minerals using *** biomineralization and mineralization processes occurred in the Y-shaped sandcontaining microchip that mimics the underground sand *** from different areas in the reaction microchannel of microchips were captured to directly compare the distribution of *** size and numbers from different reaction times were measured to quantify the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes in terms of crystal *** showed that the crystals were precipitated in a faster and more uncontrollable manner in the mineralization process than that in the biomineralization process,given that those two processes presented similar precipitation *** addition,a more heterogeneous distribution of crystals was observed during the biomineralization *** precipitation behaviors were further explained by the classical nucleation crystal growth *** present microfluidic tests could advance the understanding of biomineralization and provide new insight into the optimization of biocementation technology.

Exposure to heat stress causes diminished work performance and leads to economic *** the last two decades,China has experienced both rapid economic development and environmental warming;however,the spatiotemporal variations of association between environmental heat and labor loss have been rarely investigated behind this double ***,we evaluated the variation in China's heat-induced labor productivity loss and related economic cost from 2001 to 2019 and investigated the effect of economic development and regional *** found that decline in labor productivity because of heat stress increased significantly(pruction and manufacturing,contributed to larger proportions of economic *** transformation of industrial structure made economic sectors more vulnerable to heat exposure,and increasingly preventive effects of air-conditioning use were noted on economic damage due to heat-induced productivity decline(36.0%relative economic benefits in 2019 compared to 9.7%in 2001).Our findings could provide a deep insight into heat burden on occupational health and heat adaptation strategies regionally under climate change,especially in developing areas with higher temperature and humidity environment.

Podostemaceae(riverweed family),one of the largest aquatic plant families in the world,comprises about 350 species in 51 genera placed in three subfamilies,Podostemoideae,Weddellinoideae,and Tristichoideae(Koi et al.,2022).Most Podostemaceae genera(~38)are monotypic or oligotypic,with a high level of endemism(Koi et al.,2018,2022).Members of Podostemaceae adhere to rocks in fast-flowing rivers,streams,or waterfalls in the subtropics and tropics(Koi et al.,2018).As an adaptation to fastrunning currents,the morphological structure of river-weeds tends to be extremely reduced,including a loss or reduction of primary shoots or roots(Koi and Kato,2007).The vegetative mass of these plants resembles lichens or bryophytes,and are thus known commonly as“dream bryophytes”(Philbrick and Retana,1998).Podostemaceae plants flower when the water level drops during the dry *** recent years,anthropogenic factors and climate change have severely affected river weed habitats,decreasing populations of these plants.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common multifactorial skin disease characterized by chronic inflammation， unbearable itching， and significant physical and mental burden on patients. In recent years， there has been extensive studied on the use of natural polysaccharides in anti-inflammatory therapy， due to their low toxicity and multi-target pharmacological activity. The unique biological activities of polysaccharides from natural sources as functional food additives and cosmeceuticals present a new option for the treatment of AD. This review aims to summarize the pathogenesis of AD， the therapeutic effects， and the mechanisms of natural polysaccharides， as well as discuss the limitations and prospects of these compounds in the treatment of AD. The insights provided in this review can serve as references and inspiration for the development of applications of natural polysaccharides in the treatment of AD.
