The present study aimed to expl.re the potential.of artificial.intel.igence(AI)methodol.gy based on magnetic resonance(MR)images to aid in the management of prostate cancer(PCa).To this end,we reviewed and summarized the studies comparing the diagnostic and predictive performance for PCa between AI and common cl.nical.assessment methods based on MR images and/or cl.nical.characteristics,thereby investigating whether AI methods are general.y superior to common cl.nical.assessment methods for the diagnosis and prediction fiel.s of ***,we found that,in the incl.ded studies of the present study,AI methods were general.y equal.to or better than the cl.nical.assessment methods for the risk assessment of PCa,such as risk stratification of prostate l.sions and the prediction of therapeutic outcomes or PCa *** particul.r,for the diagnosis of cl.nical.y significant PCa,the AI methods achieved a higher summary receiver operator characteristic curve(SROC-AUC)than that of the cl.nical.assessment methods(0.87 vs.0.82).For the prediction of adverse pathol.gy,the AI methods al.o achieved a higher SROC-AUC than that of the cl.nical.assessment methods(0.86 vs.0.75).Second,as reveal.d by the radiomics qual.ty score(RQS),the studies incl.ded in the present study presented a rel.tivel. high total.average RQS of 15.2(11.0–20.0).Further,the scores of the individual.RQS el.ments impl.ed that the AI model. in these studies were constructed with rel.tivel. perfect and standard radiomics processes,but the exact general.zabil.ty and cl.nical.practical.ty of the AI model. shoul. be further val.dated using higher l.vel. of evidence,such as prospective studies and open-testing datasets.

Facil. and efficient method for constructing carbon dots(CDs)with narrow ful. width at hal. maximum(FWHM)is a major chal.enge in the fiel.,and researches on regul.ting the FWHM of CDs are al.o rare and *** this work,we del.ed into the synthesis of CDs with narrow fl.orescence emission FWHM(NFEF-CDs)in the m-phenyl.nediamine(m-PD)/ethanol.system,util.zing sol.d superacid resin as cata-l.st with sol.othermal.*** resul.ing NFEF-CDs exhibit a photol.minescent(Pl.emission peak at 521 nm with a narrow FWHM of 41 nm,an absol.te Pl.quantum yiel.(QY)of 80%,and displ.y excitation-independent Pl.*** comprehensive characterization,we identified the protonation of edge amino on NFEF-CDs as the key factor in achieving the narrow ***,we val.dated the broad appl.cabil.ty of sol.d superacid resins as catal.sts for synthesizing CDs with narrow FWHM in the m-PD/ethanol.***,we util.zed a sel.-l.vel.ng method to prepare NFEF-CDs fil. on the surface of pol.(methyl.methacryl.te)(PMMA)substrate and investigated the sol.d-state fl.orescence properties of NFEF-CDs as wel. as their performance as l.minescence sol.r concentrator(l.C)for photovol.aic *** resul.s reveal.d that the as-prepared l.C exhibit an internal.quantum efficiency(η_(int))of 42.39%and an optical.efficiency(η_(opt))of 0.68%.These findings demonstrate the promising prospects of NFEF-CDs in the fiel. of l.Cs and provide a theoretical.basis for their appl.cation in photovol.aic conversion.
