Anchoring heterometallic cluster on P-doped carbon nitride for efficient photocatalytic nitrogen fixation in water and air ambient

Light-driven nitrogen fixation to produce ammonia is a green and economical technology of nitrogen reduction but is still quite challenging, especially in an air atmosphere without any sacrificial ***, we demonstrate efficient photocatalytic nitrogen fixation using water and air directly by loading lanthanide–transition metal(4f–3d) cluster NdCo_(3) on two-dimensional P-doped graphitic carbon nitrides(PCN) material surface. Benefiting from the increase in the number of nitrogen vacancies(NVs) and highly matched band gap structure and excellent hole trapping ability of clusters, the NdCo_(3)/PCN photocatalyst exhibits efficient nitrogen reduction activity with 371(in air) and 825 μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)(in pure nitrogen)without any sacrificial reagents. The introduction of potassium sulfate inhibits hydrogen production and promotes nitrogen reduction activation. This work suggests that anchoring precisely structured clusters on 2D materials may enhance photocatalytic nitrogen reduction under normal temperature and pressure.

In this paper,we study spatial cross-sectional data models in the form of matrix exponential spatial specification(MESS),where MESS appears in both dependent and error *** empirical likelihood(EL)ratio statistics are established for the parameters of the MESS *** is shown that the limiting distributions of EL ratio statistics follow chi-square distributions,which are used to construct the confidence regions of model *** experiments are conducted to compare the performances of confidence regions based on EL method and normal approximation method.

Upper-rim-modified thioether thiacalix[4]arene used for liquid-liquid extraction of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)in hydrochloric acid medium

Gold(Au)and palladium(Pd)play an increasing role in the production and human life;Therefore,it is of great significance to study their recovery.A 5,11,17,23-tetra-ethylthio-25,26,27,28-tetra-hydroxyl thiacalix[4]arene(TCAET)was synthesized specifically for the capture of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from HCl medium by liquid-liquid *** a 0.1 mol·L^(-1)HCl medium,the transfer of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from the aqueous phase to the organic phase was highly efficient,with a transfer ratio of 100%for Au(Ⅲ)and 98%for Pd(Ⅱ).Furthermore,the extraction equilibrium time for Au(Ⅲ)was just 5 ***'s method data demonstrated that TCAET formed complexes with Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)in a ratio of 2:3 and 1:1,respectively,during the extraction *** showed high selectivity toward Pd(Ⅱ)and Au(Ⅲ)over other competing metal ***,both Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)could be successfully stripped from the loaded organic phases with a 1.0 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl and 0.5 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl,*** obtained from five consecutive extraction-stripping cycles showed good reusability of TCAET toward Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)*** conclusion can provide a certain reference for thiacalixarene in the recovery of precious metal species.

Infiltrating immune cells in the tumor microenvironment(TME)play critical roles in the initiation,progression,and metastasis of cancer[1].Previous studies have reported that the infiltration levels of various immune cell types are significantly associated with patient prognosis in different cancers[2,3].Specifically,in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)the prognostic associations of major immune cell types have been investigated[4–6],however,some of the reported associations are inconsistent and remain debated[7].Limited by technical issues,most studies focused on a few immune cell lineages or relied on inferred immune cell levels from computational *** investigate the prognostic effects of all major immune cell types unbiasedly,more systematic high-quality immune cell profiling data with matched patient survival information are needed.

Creep-Resistant Covalent Adaptable Networks with Excellent SelfHealing and Reprocessing Performance via Phase-Locked Dynamic Covalent Benzopyrazole-Urea Bonds

Covalent adaptive networks(CANs)are capable of undergoing segment rearrangement after being heated,which endows the materials with excellent self-healing and reprocessing performance,providing an efficient solution to the environment pollution caused by the plastic *** main challenge remains in developing CANs with both excellent reprocessing performance and creep-resistance *** this study,a series of CANs containing dynamic covalent benzopyrazole-urea bonds were developed based on the addition reaction between benzopyrazole and isocyanate *** calculation confirmed that relatively low dissociation energy is obtained through undergoing a five-member ring transition state,confirming excellent dynamic property of the benzopyrazole-urea *** verified by the FTIR results,this nice dynamic property can be well maintained after incorporating the benzopyrazole-urea bonds into polymer *** self-healing and reprocessing performance is observed by the 3-ABP/PDMS elastomers owing to the dynamic benzopyrazole-urea *** separation induced by the aggregation of the hard segments locked the benzopyrazole-urea bonds,which also makes the elastomers display excellent creep-resistance *** hard phase locking strategy provides an efficient approach to design CANs materials with both excellent reprocessing and creep-resistance performance.

The titanium alloys with highly chemical activity require stable crucible refractories that can withstand the erosion of alloy *** phase composition and microstructure are crucial factors that affect the stability of the refractory *** effect of Y_(2)O_(3) on the composition and microstructure of BaZrO_(3) crucible was systematically investigated,and the improved mechanism of the stability of BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible was clarified in comparison with the BaZrO_(3) *** results showed that the erosion layer thickness of the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible was only 63μm,which was far less than that in the BaZrO_(3) crucible(485μm),and the erosion layer in the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible also exhibited a higher density than that in the BaZrO_(3) *** the sintering,Y_(2)O_(3) could improve the densification of the BaZrO_(3) crucible due to the solid solution effect between Y_(2)O_(3) and ZrO_(2),which also caused the evaporation of BaO,resulting in the generation of a Y_(2)O_(3)(ZrO_(2))film on the surface of the ***,the Y_(2)O_(3)(ZrO_(2))had higher thermodynamic stability than Y_(2)O_(3),confirming that the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible with high density exhibited a superior erosion resistance to titanium *** dual-phase structure provides a strategy to design a long-life and stable refractory for melting titanium alloys.

Snowpack variations and their hazardous effects under climate warming in the central Tianshan Mountains

Climate change alters snowpack evolution,which in turn influences the likelihood of snow avalanches and flood *** lack of systemic observational data on key snow characteristics in high mountains remains a scientific challenge in terms of systematically elucidating the dynamic chain of variations in climate-snowpack-snow *** restricts our understanding and poses challenges in the prediction of snow-related disaster *** such,this study analysed the variations of temperature and snowfall and the physical characteristics of snowpacks based on ground-based observations from the Kunse River Valley situated in the Tianshan Mountains from 1967 to *** results reveal that the temperature increased significantly by 0.32°C per decade(p<0.01)during the snow season,along with more extreme snowfall *** snow-cover duration was observed to have been shortened by 4.77 d per decade(p<0.01)from 1967 to 2021,which is characterised by later snow-cover onset and earlier ***,average and maximum snow depths increased along with an increase in peak snow water equivalent,thus indicating a higher frequency of extremely scarce or abundant snow *** low snowpack temperature gradient and earlier snowmelt dates in spring lead to earlier occurrences of snowmelt floods and wet *** the risks of these events increase,they pose greater threats to farmlands,road transportation,water-electricity infrastructure and several other human ***,these insights are critical for providing vital information that can deepen our understanding of the impact of climate change on snowpack characteristics and improve management strategies for snow-related disaster prevention and mitigation.

CP violation of baryon decays with Nπrescatterings

There is a long-standing puzzle that the CP violation(CPV)in the baryon systems has never been wellestablished in experiments,while the CPV of mesons have been observed by *** this paper,we propose thatthe CpV of baryon decays can be generated with the rescatterings of a nucleon and a pion into some final states,i.e Nπ→Nπor Nππ.Benelited by the fruitful data of Nπscatterings,we can model-independently analyse the strongphases of b-baryon decays using the partial wave amplitudes of Nπ*** the most difficult problemof non-perturbative dynamics,it makes a great advantage to predict the CpV of baryon decays with a relatively *** understanding of the decay *** study the processes of∧_(b)^(0)→(pπ^(+)π^(-))h^(-)and(pπ^(0))h^(-)with h=πor *** is found that the global CPV of the above processes in the invariant mass regions of Nπscatterings are at theorder of several *** importantly,the local CPV in some regions of the Dalitz plots can reach the order of 10%,or be even *** the predicted results and the experimental data samples,we strong suggest tomeasure the CPV of∧_(b)^(0)→(pπ^(+)π^(-))K^(-),which has a large possibility to achieve the first observation of CPV in thebaryon system.
