Application of traditional indexes and adverse events in the ophthalmologic perioperative medical quality evaluation during 2010-2012

AIM: To evaluate the medical quality of ophthalmologic perioperative period during 2010-2012 in our hospital. METHODS: The relevant data of perioperative period were collected in our hospital during 2010-2012, and the medical quality of perioperative period was evaluated by using the traditional evaluation indexes and adverse events. Whereby, the traditional indicators include vision changes, improving of intraocular pressure, diagnostic accordance rate before and after operation, cure improvement rate, successful rescue rate, and incidence of surgical complications, etc Adverse events are associated with ophthalmologic perioperative events including pressure sores, postoperative wound infection, drug adverse events, and equipment related adverse events. RESULTS: There were 1483, 1662 and 1931 ophthalmic operations in our hospital in the year 2010, 2011 and 2012, respectively. From traditional index analysis, the proportions of vision improvement for each year were 96.43%, 96.76% and 97.32%, respectively; the rates of intraocular pressure improvement were 87.50%, 85.72% and 90.17%, respectively ( P <0.05); the diagnostic accordance rates before and after operation were 99.86%, 99.94% and 99.90%, respectively; cure improvement rates were 99.73%, 99.93% and 99.84%, respectively; the successful rescue rates were 82.98%, 81.46% and 76.66%, respectively; the complications incidence rates were 18.44%, 17.52% and 17.97%, respectively. The negative factor analysis results showed that: among all the patients of ophthalmic surgeries in our hospital during 2010 and 2012, only one case of postoperative wound infection was found in 2011, and also only one case of tumbling in 2010. The adverse drug events for each year were 1 case (0.07%), 2 cases (0.12%), and 4 cases (0.21%), respectively; the medical device adverse events for each year were 3 cases (0.20%), 5 cases (0.30%), and 6 cases (0.31%), respectively. 随着全球航运业的快速增长和智能航运技术的兴起,对高素质航海人才的需求急剧上升。传统的航海人才培养模式已难以满足现代航运业对人才的多样化需求,特别是在确保职业技能与岗位需求相匹配、提供充足实习机会和加强教师队伍建设等方面存在显著不足。为应对这些挑战,提出并实践了“三融合、三贯通”的智能航海人才培养体系。通过课程与证书的融合、产教融合、校企协同,以及重视理论与实践相结合的教学方法。同时,有效地整合了教育质量监督体系、能力标准与教育理念,旨在全面提升航海人才的专业技能和实践能力。自2009年实施以来,已显著提高了学生的实践技能、综合素质及国际竞争力,为智能航运时代培养出了一批高素质的航海技术人才,得到了国内外船东和航运界的广泛认可。

We present the design, fabrication, and characterization of a barrier-tunable superconducting quantum interference device（SQUID） qubit for the study of Maxwell＇s demon experiment. In this work, a compound Josephson junction（CJJ）radio-frequency（RF）-SQUID qubit with an overdamped resistively shunted direct-current（DC）-SQUID magnetometer is used to continuously monitor the state of the qubit. The circuit is successfully fabricated with the standard Nb/Al-Al Ox/Nb trilayer process of our laboratory and characterized in a low noise measurement system, which is capable of measuring coherent dynamics of superconducting qubits, in an Oxford dilution refrigerator. All circuit parameters are determined accurately by fitting experimental data to theoretical analysis and simulation, which allows us to make a quantitative comparison between the results of the experiment and theory.

The kinetics of voluminal reduction of chromium ore fines containing coal （COFCC） by microwave heating was studied. When the molar ratio of carbon to oxygen was 0.84 and that of CaO to SiO2 was 0.39 in COFCC, the temperature rising rate of COFCC by microwave heating was 62.5 ℃/min, 68.75 ℃/min, 70. 59 ℃/min, and 72.22 ℃/min at 1 000 ℃, 1 100 ℃, 1 200 ℃, and 1 300 ℃, respectively. The results show that the voluminal re duction of COFCC by microwave heating at solid-solid phase is first order reaction, with the apparent activation energy of 51. 480 kJ/mol. The limiting step of reaction rate for the overall reaction is the mass transfer of CO in the reduced product layer between dielectric particles of chromium ore and coal.

A methylated-DNA-binding complex required for plant development mediates transcriptional activation of promoter methylated genes

Although the mechanism of DNA methylationmediated gene silencing is extensively studied, relatively little is known about how promoter methylated genes are protected from transcriptional silencing. SUVH1, an Arabidopsis Su(var)3-9 homolog, was previously shown to be required for the expression of a few promoter methylated genes. By chromatin immunoprecipitation combined with sequencing, we demonstrate that SUVH1 binds to methylated genomic loci targeted by RNA-directed DNA methylation. SUVH1 and its homolog SUVH3 function partially redundantly and interact with three DNAJ domain-containing homologs, SDJ1, SDJ2, and SDJ3, thus forming a complex which we named SUVH-SDJ. The SUVH-SDJ complex components are co-localized in a large number of methylated promoters and are required for the expression of a subset of promoter methylated genes. We demonstrate that the SUVHSDJ complex components have transcriptional activation activity. SUVH1 and SUVH3 function synergistically with SDJ1,SDJ2, and SDJ3 and are required for plant viability. This study reveals how the SUVH-SDJ complex protects promoter methylated genes from transcriptional silencing and suggests that the transcriptional activation of promoter methylated genes mediated by the SUVH-SDJ complex may play a critical role in plant growth and development.

Effects of hepatotrophic factors on the liver after portacaval shunt in rats with portal hypertension

Background Portacaval shunt （PCS） prevent hepatotrophic factors from flowing into the liver, but they enter directly the systemic circulation and worsen liver injury. This study was designed to investigate the effects of hepatotrophic factors through the portal vein on the liver in rats with portal hypertension after portacaval shunt. Methods Intrahepatic portal hypertension （IHPH） was induced by intragastric administration of carbon tetrachloride, and end-to-side PCS was performed. Eight normal rats served as controls, and eight rats with IHPH served as IHPH model （IHPH group）. Another 32 rats with IHPH-PCS were randomly subdivided into 4 groups： normal saline （NS） given to 8 rats, hepatocyte growth factor （HGF） 8, insulin （INS） 8, hepatocyte growth factor and insulin （HGF＋INS） 8. Hepatotrophic factors were infused into the portal vein through an intravenous catheter. Portal venous pressure （PVP） was measured. The levels of serum alanine aminotransferase （ALT） and aspartate aminotransferase （AST） were tested biochemically and those of hyaluronic acid （HA） and laminin （LN） were measured by radioimmunoassay. Hepatic fibrosis was assessed histologically and the expression of collagens type I and In were detected immunohistochemically. Ultrastructural change of hepatocytes and the number of mitochondria were observed under an electron microscope. The data were compared between groups and subgroups by Student-Newman-Keuls procedure with SPSS 10.0.Results PVP was significantly higher in the IHPH rats than in the control rats （P〈0.05）. The levels of serum ALT, AST, HA, and LN, hepatic fibrosis score, the amount of collagen deposition, collagens type I and III increased more significantly in the IHPH group than in the control rats （P〈0.05）. The number of mitochondria decreased more significantly in the IHPH rats than in the control rats （P〈0.05）. We present a case of severe persisting unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia in a Uigur infant boy, eventually diagnosed as Crigler-Najjar syndrome type I. DNA analysis of his blood of the UGTIA1 gene sequence demonstrated that he was homozygous for an insertion mutation causing a change of the coding exons with a frame-shift, resulting in the substitution of 27 abnormal amino acid residues in his hepatic bilirubin uridine diphosphoglucuronyl transferase enzyme. Both of his parents were heterozygous for the same mutation. A novel frame-shifting mutation of the UGTIA1 gene was found, confirming the diagnosis of Crigler-Najjar syndrome type I for this patient.

Arthrogryposis, renal dysfunction and cholestasis (ARC) syndrome is a rare genetic disorder and has not been described in China. We present a female infant with neonatal intrahepatic cholestasis from a Chinese family with ARC syndrome. All 23 coding exons and flanking introns of the VPS33B gene were amplified and sequenced using peripheral lymphocyte genomic DNA of the patient and her parents. Genetic testing revealed two novel mutations (c.1033delA and c.1567C>T) in the VPS33B gene. The patient is a compound heterozygote and her parents were heterozygous for each of the mutations.

【目的】实现对结球甘蓝叶片含水量的无损检测,为结球甘蓝田间水分管理提供参考依据。【方法】在结球甘蓝的整个生长季设置23.33 L/株(CK)、11.33 L/株(W1)、15.33 L/株(W2)、19.33 L/株(W3)、27.33 L/株(W4)、28.33 L/株(W5)共6个灌水量处理,收集结球甘蓝莲座期和结球期各99个结球甘蓝叶片样本光谱数据,采用卷积平滑法(Savitzky-Golay)、移动平均法(Moving average)、归一化法(Normalization)和多元散射矫正(Multiple scattering correction)进行预处理,连续投影算法(Successive project-ion algorithm)进行特征提取,多元线性回归模型(Multiple linear regression)进行建模。【结果】在波段400~1000 nm,不同灌水量的结球甘蓝叶片含水量模型的预测精度差异明显。经过预处理的原始光谱建立的预测模型精度均有一定程度提高,其中Savitzky-Golay预处理效果最好。特征提取方法提高了光谱数据质量和准确性;在结球甘蓝莲座期和结球期优选出连续投影算法进行特征波段提取最佳,分别筛选出5和6个特征波长,2个时期筛选出的特征波长基本都在一定的水分敏感波段范围。在结球甘蓝莲座期和结球期,通过多元线性回归建模方法建立的结球甘蓝叶片含水量预测模型都取得了比主成分回归和偏最小二乘回归更高的预测精度;多元线性回归模型的校正集相关系数和均方根误差在莲座期为0.8927和0.8757,在结球期为0.9167和0.9014。【结论】高光谱技术可成功监测结球甘蓝叶片在不同生育期的含水量,为农田水分管理提供依据,为精准灌溉提供技术支撑。
