In order to improve the thermoelectric and mechanical properties of p-type Bi_(2)Te_(3) thermoelectric material,Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3)/Ni&Cu core/shell powders were electroless plated with the same content of Ni and different content of Cu,and then reduced by hydrogen,and finally sintered into bulk by spark plasma *** composite electroless plating with Ni&Cu,for the bulk sample with 0.3 wt% Ni and 0.15 wt% Cu,the power factor rises significantly and the highest value increases from 25 to 33 μW·cm^(-1)· K^(-2) at room ***,the thermal conductivity decreases to about 0.80 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1) at 623 ***,the composite electroless plating with Ni&Cu can obviously improve the electrical and thermal transport performance of p-type Bi_(2)Te_(3) based thermoelectric ***,the ZT value enhances significantly and the highest value increases over 3 times,from 0.35 to 1.16 at 473 K in Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3) with 0.3 wt% Ni and 0.15 wt% Cu bulk *** the same time,the mechanical properties have also been improved after composite electroless plating with Ni&Cu.

This paper is devoted to the study of the vortex dynamics of the Cauchy problem for a parabolic Ginzburg Landau system which simulates inhomogeneous type II superconducting materials and three-dimensional superconducting thin films having variable thickness. We will prove that the vortex of the problem is moved by a codimension k mean curvature flow with external force field. Besides, we will show that the mean curvature flow depends strongly on the external force, having completely different phenomena from the usual mean curvature flow.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the underlying mechanism of action of Tongxieyaofang decoction in rats with visceral hypersensitivity using proteomics ***: Twenty-four female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: control group, irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) group and Tongxieyaofang treatment group. An IBS model, characterized as visceral hypersensitivity, was established using the odour of mothballs as conditional stimulation and colorectal distension combined with classic physical restraint as non-conditional stimulation. Rats were intragastrically treated with Tongxieyaofang(2 or 4 m L · kg^(-1)· d^(-1))for 4 weeks. On the 45 th day, the rats were dissected and the colonic mucosal proteins were extracted. Differential protein spots were screened by fluorescent two-dimensional differential gel electrophoresis(2 D-DIGE), and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS). Western blotting experiments were performed to verify the changes observed in 2 D-DIGE and ***: It was found that the visceral sensitivity of rats in the Tongxieyaofang treatment group(4 m L/kg) was lower than that in the IBS group(P <0.01). Sixty-one protein spots were differentially expressed between the IBS group and the Tongxieyaofang treatment group. Of these, 23 spots were upregulated in the Tongxieyaofang treatment group, while 38 spots were downregulated. Three specific proteins were successfully identified from the five protein spots with the most obvious changes. The two upregulated proteins were transgelin(TAGLN) and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2(Aldh2) and the downregulated protein was cytokeratin 8(CK8).CONCLUSION: Tongxieyaofang can dose-dependently ameliorate visceral hypersensitivity in rats and the mechanism of action may involve the upregulation of TAGLN and Aldh2 and the downregulation of CK8.

Cross-Correlation Detection of Point Sources in the WMAP First Year Data

We apply a Cross-Correlation （CC） method developed previously for detecting gamma-ray point sources to the WMAP first year data by using the Point-Spread Function of WMAP and obtain a full sky CC coefficient map. We find that the CC method is a powerful tool to examine the WMAP foreground residuals which can be further cleaned accord- ingly. Evident foreground signals are found in the WMAP foreground cleaned maps and the Tegmark cleaned map. In this process 101 point sources are detected, and 26 of them are new sources additional to the originally listed WMAP 208 sources. We estimate the flux of these new sources and verify them by another method. As a result, a revised mask file based on the WMAP first year data is produced by including these new sources.

Strain rate sensitivity and deformation mechanism of integral-forming aluminum foam sandwich(IFAFS)under quasi-static and dynamic compression were *** Hopkinson pressure bar experiments with high-speed video cameras were conducted to analyze strain rate dependency and actual deformation mechanism of IFAFS.X-ray microtomography technique(Micro-CT)based on 3D finite element(FE)was used to study stress and plastic strain contours of IFAFS sample and to predict stress distribution and deformation history under both dynamic and quasi-static ***-inertia effect of typical cell structures was quantitatively analyzed by FE *** results showed that IFAFS is sensitive to strain rate where the deformation mode under dynamic loading is different from that observed under quasi-static *** strain rate increasing,good metallurgical bonding of face sheet and foam core layer contributed to improving the elastic modulus and peak stress of ***,finite element model confirmed that micro-inertia effect of IFAFS can be ignored during dynamic loading.
