New fossil mayflies （Insecta： Ephemeroptera） from the Middle Jurassic of Daohugou, Inner Mongolia, China

Abstract Jurassonurus amoenus, a new genus and species of Siphlonuridae s. I. is described from the Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation of the Daohugou Village, Shantou Township, Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia, China. The new species is estab- lished by more than 20 imago and subimago specimens in relatively good condition. Detailed description and illustration of the specimens along with a review of fossil Siphlonuridae s. I. are given. Comparing with two known dominant nymph species Fuyous gregarious Zhang and Kluge, 2007 and Shantous lacustri Zhang and Kluge, 2007 from the same locality, we could not find any relationship among them. The new species is another dominant species in Daohugou beds.

Development of metal-organic framework(MOF)films is of great importance to expand their ***,we report a facile and universal method of liquid-phase epitaxial(LPE)layer by layer(LBL)brushing approach for fabricating MOF films on various substrates in a high-throughput *** MOF films preparation method offers a great prospective to cost-effectively construct films with short preparation time and little reagent ***,this LBL brushing approach has been implemented successfully to assemble various MOF films,including HKUST-1,zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8),Cu(bdc),and Cu_(2)(L)_(2)P(L=bdc,ndc,and cam;P=dabco and bipy).Afterwards,the classic MOF HKUST-1 and ZIF-8 films were grown on sensor chip electrode and porous fiber support for good volatile organic compounds(VOCs)selective sensing and water purification *** study demonstrates that this LBL brushing preparation method can be employed to synthesize various MOF films with a variety of characteristics to realize their sensing and separation applications.

The principles and molecular mechanisms underlying biological pattern formation are difficult to elucidate in most cases due to the overwhelming physiologic complexity associated with the natural context. The understanding of a particular mechanism, not to speak of underlying universal principles, is difficult due to the diversity and uncertainty of the biological systems. Although current genetic and biochemical approaches have greatly advanced our understanding of pattern formation, the progress mainly relies on experimental phenotypes obtained from time- consuming studies of gain or loss of function mutants. It is prevailingly considered that synthetic biology will come to the application age, but more importantly synthetic biology can be used to understand the life. Using periodic stripe pattern formation as a paradigm, we discuss how to apply synthetic biology in understanding biological pattern formation and hereafter foster the applications like tissue engineering.

The Cretaceous bird trackway originally labeled Aquatilavipes anhuiensis, in 1994, had previously been examined, photographed and replicated, but never described or illustrated in detail. However, it has been part of a widening discussion about the distribution of Aquatilavipes and Koreanaornis in China(and Korea). Here we illustrate and formally describe the holotype in detail and assign it to Koreanaornis(Koreanaornis anhuiensis) as informally proposed by previous authors. We also demonstrate that most authenticated reports of Koreanaornis, including the Anhui occurrence, are from the Lower Cretaceous, not from the Upper Cretaceous as previously reported.

Background:The decrease of glomerular filtration rate has been theoretically supposed to be the result of low perfusion in renal artery stenosis (RAS).But the gap between artery stenosis and the glomerular filtration ability is still ***:Patients with selective renal artery angiogram were divided by the degree of renal artery narrowing,level of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),*** different levels of eGFR,renal microcirculation markers,and RAS severity were compared with each other,to determine the relationships among ***:A total of 215 consecutive patients were enrolled in the prospective cohort *** of microcirculation markers had no significant difference between RAS group (RAS ≥ 50％) and no RAS group (RAS ＜ 50％) or did not change correspondingly to RAS *** value of eGFR in RAS group was lower than that in the no RAS group,but it did not decline parallel to the progressive severity of *** microcirculation markers presented integral difference if grouped by different eGFR level with negative tendency,especially that plasma cystatin C (cysC) and urinary microalbumin to creatinine ratio (mACR) increased with the deterioration of eGFR,with strong (r =-0.713,P ＜ 0.001) and moderate (r =-0.580,P ＜ 0.001) *** the subgroup analysis of severe RAS (RAS ≥ 80％),the levels of plasma cysC and urinary mACR demonstrated stronger negative associations with eGFR,(r =-0.827,P ＜ 0.001) and (r =-0.672,P ＜ 0.001) correlations,***:Severity of RAS could not accurately predict the value of eGFR,whereas microcirculation impairment may substantially contribute to the glomerular filtration loss in patients with RAS.

Recently,the self-assembly of functionalized small molecular photosensitizes(PSs) into "one-for-all" nanoparticles has drawn great attention in phototheranostic cancer treatment because of their high tumor specificity,switchable photoactivity,multifunctional design,and relatively simple component(s). The regulation of self-assembled nanoparticles of different sizes is highly interesting,but it is still very rare thus ***,we have develop herein a novel strategy for size-tunable self-assembled nanophotosensitizers with targeting-triggered photoactivities based on an amphiphilic phthalocyanine-biotin *** particle sizes of the nanophotosensitizers could be changed from 10 nm to 90 nm through the regulation of the amount of Cremophor EL.

The weakness of visible and near-infrared light penetration depth limits the application of photodynamic therapy(PDT)in deep-seated *** on the high penetrability of X-rays,X-ray-induced PDT(X-PDT)is a promising new method for treating deep-seated ***,it requires the development of suitable X-ray-induced sensitizers that could employ X-ray energy to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS)*** this study,a novel X-rayinduced sensitizer(NanoSRF)was developed through a microemulsion method,in which copper iodine cluster compound Cu_(2)I_(2)(tpp)2(2,5-dm-pz)(CIP)and rose bengal(RB)worked as scintillator and photosensitizer,*** was synthesized by a simple mechanical grinding method,and subsequently folic acid(FA)-modified albumin was introduced to enable its alliance with *** exhibited excellent dispersion stability and generated a large amount of ROS under X-ray *** results of in vitro studies demonstrated its high selectivity for FA receptor-positive cancer *** systemic administration,NanoSRF accumulated in H22 tumors of xenograft-bearing mice,and Xray irradiation(5.46 Gy)induced a significant inhibition rate of 96.7%in tumor *** study pioneers the use of copper iodide cluster as a scintillator in X-PDT,presenting new possibilities for designing scintillators with exceptional X-ray absorption and efficient X-PDT capabilities.
