An online detection technology must be developed for realizing the real-time control of friction stir *** this study,the three-dimensional force exerted on a material during friction stir welding was collected synchronously and the relationship between the forces and welding quality was *** results indicated that the fluctuation period of the traverse force was equal to that of the lateral force during the stable welding *** phase difference between two horizontal forces wasπ/*** values of the horizontal forces increased with welding speed,whereas their amplitudes remained the *** proposed force model showed that the traverse and lateral forces conformed to an elliptical curve,and this result was consistent with the behavior of the measured *** variational mode decomposition was used to process the plunge *** intrinsic mode function that represented the real fluctuation in the plunge force varied at the same frequency as the spindle rotational *** tunnel defects occurred,the fluctuation period features were consistent with those obtained during normal welding,whereas the ratio parameter defined in this study increased significantly.

Comparative Experimental Study on Heat Transfer Characteristics of Building Exterior Surface at High and Low Altitudes

The external surface heat transfer coefficient of building envelope is one of the important parameters necessary for building energy saving design,but the basic data in high-altitude area are ***,the authors propose a modified measurement method based on the heat balance of a model building,and use the same model building to measure its external surface heat transfer coefficient under outdoor conditions in Chengdu city,China at an altitude of 520 m and Daocheng city at an altitude of 3750 m *** results show that the total heat transfer coefficient(h_(t))of building surface in high-altitude area is reduced by 34.48%.The influence of outdoor wind speed on the convective heat transfer coefficient(h_(c))in high-altitude area is not as significant as that in low-altitude *** fitting relation between convection heat transfer coefficient and outdoor wind speed is also *** the same heating power,the average temperature rise of indoor and outdoor air at highaltitude is 41.9%higher than that at low altitude,and the average temperature rise of inner wall is 25.8%higher than that at low *** shows that high-altitude area can create a more comfortable indoor thermal environment than low-altitude area under the same energy consumption *** is not appropriate to use the heat transfer characteristics of the exterior surface of buildings in low-altitude area for building energy saving design and related heating equipment selection and system terminal matching design in high-altitude area.

Design method and experimental study of a cathode tool with an extremely high leveling ratio for electrochemical machining of blisk

To obtain final parts with the desired dimensional accuracy and repeatability via electrochemical machining(ECM), the machining process must enter an ECM balanced state. However,for the ECM processing of blisk, a key component of aerospace engines, the surface of the blade blank often has an uneven allowance distribution due to the narrow passage of the cascade. It is difficult to remedy this issue in subsequent processing steps, which is necessary to ensure the dimensional accuracy and repeatability of the final blade profile. To solve this problem, electrolytic machining must be preceded by electrolytic shaping, which requires cathode tools with large leveling ratios to quickly homogenize the blank surface of the blade. In this study, to obtain a cathode tool with an extremely high leveling ratio, a design method based on the variation in the electrode gap in the non-equilibrium electrolytic state is proposed, and a dissolution model based on the nonequilibrium state is established. In this design method, the allowance on the blank to be machined is first divided into many discrete allowances with the normal direction. The initial machining clearance, feed rate, and total machining time are then calculated using classical ECM equilibrium state theory based on the maximum allowance. Meanwhile, the point coordinates of the cathode tool at maximum allowance can be determined. The non-equilibrium model can then be used to calculate the relative coordinate positions corresponding to the remaining discrete allowances. Finally, the entire cathode tool profile is designed. Simulations, fundamental experiments, and blisk unit workpiece experiments were carried out to validate the design approach. In the simulated processing of the plane workpiece, the leveling ratio of the cathode tool designed by the proposed method(0.77)was 83% higher than that of the cathode tool designed using the traditional method. Safety issues related to flammable electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) remain a major challenge for their extended *** use of non-flammable phosphate-based electrolytes has proved the validity in inhibiting the combustion of ***,the strong interaction between Li^(+) and phosphate leads to a dominant solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) with limited electronic shielding,resulting in the poor Li^(+) intercalation at the graphite(Gr) anode when using high-phosphate-content *** mitigate this issue and improve Li^(+) insertion,we propose an “In-N-Out” strategy to render phosphates “noncoordinative”.By employing a combination of strongly polar solvents for a “block effect” and weakly polar solvents for a “drag effect”,we reduce the Li^(+)–phosphate *** a result,phosphates remain in the electrolyte phase(“In”),minimizing their impact on the incompatibility with the Gr electrode(“Out”).We have developed a non-flammable electrolyte with high triethyl phosphate(TEP) content(>60 wt.%),demonstrating the excellent ion conductivity(5.94 mS cm^(-1) at 30 ℃) and reversible Li^(+) intercalation at a standard concentration(~1 mol L^(-1)).This approach enables the manipulation of multiple electrolyte functions and holds the promise for the development of safe electrochemical energy storage systems using non-flammable electrolytes.
