A new kind of photodetector based on a double-walled carbon nanotube （DWCNT） film and a TiO2 nanotube array with hetrodimensional non-ohmic contacts has been fabricated. Due to the dimensionality difference effect, the DWCNT film/TiO2 nanotube array photodetector exhibits a much higher photocurrent-to-dark current ratio and photoresponse relative to an Au film/TiO2 nanotube array device, even at small bias voltage. The photocurrent-to-dark current ratio reached four orders of magnitude and a high photoresponse of 2467 A/W was found upon irradiation at 340 nm. Furthermore, the photosensitive regions could be extended into the visible range. The photocurrent-to-dark current ratio reached approximately three orders of magnitude upon irradiation at 532 nm, where the photon energy is much lower than the band gap of TiO2.

The COVID-19 outbreak has shocked the world’s economies in the year of *** this pandemic spreads around the globe,many experts feared that the global food supplies might start running short,especially if supply chains were ***-19 also added to the uncertainty of the business ***,it is critical to understand how COVID-19 pandemic affected global food supply and *** this study,we investigate the impact of COVID-19 on agricultural export companies in China using a unique firm-level survey *** found that although on average agricultural businesses experienced declines in the exports,exports of some agricultural products especially grain and oil held strong and even increased,implying the essential demand for staple food during the *** surprisingly,exports of medicinal herb also increased significantly during the ***,exports of goods such as edible fungus and horticultural products sharply *** results also showed that in general,impact of COVID-19 on smaller firms was more severe than that on larger *** results of this study can provide useful guidance and implications for agricultural businesses and policy makers on their COVID-19 mitigation efforts to navigate this global pandemic.

In order to meet government supervision of pork production safety as well as consumer＇s right to know what they buy and protect the public safety of pork food, this study adopts animal identification, intelligent personal digital assistant （PDA） reading and writing, general packet radio service （GPRS）, and other information technologies, proposes a pork tracking and traceability inferstructure based on pork production substrace flow and data flow, designs the metadata structure and related datatbases for farming, slaughtering, and retailing sector based on intensive pig farming and smallhold pig farming, develops three different data-recording systems, and finally establishes a public network platform for the information inquiry in light of ＂the administrative rules on identification and rearing files for animal and poultry＂ in China. The farming process information system supplies early warning for the usage of drugs and feed additives based on data of every individual pig and timely uploading all events data to remote traceability database when pigs are sold; the PDA data collecting system can collect farming events data for pigs fed by farmers and submit to the center database by GPRS; the web-based Tianjin＇s pork traceability platform can integrate all identifications and related pork quality data from farming, slaughtering to marketing by online, and achieve pork tracking from product origin to consumption and tracing in the turnover direction. It is feasible to realize pork quality traceability by identification technologies developed and/or integrated, metadata specifications designed, three data-recording systems deyeloped, and web-inquiring platform established. Some individual technical bottlenecks will be resolved with the development of communication technologies. The full implementation in Tianjin, China, will supply technical support for guaranteeing the quality and safety of pork production and meeting consumer＇s demands.

A novel photodetector based on double-walled carbon nanotube （DWCNT） film/TiO2 nanotube array （TNA） heterojunctions was fabricated, which exhibited high photoresponse in a broad spectral range. The photoresponse of the detector was dramatically dependent on the length of the TNAs. High photocurrent-to-dark current ratio with a value of 3360 was observed in the visible range by optimizing the lengths of the TNAs. The photosensitive regions could be extended into the near-infrared range. These results reveal that DWCNT film/TNA heterojunctions show potential applications for broad band photodetectors.

Content-centric network （CCN） is a new Inter- net architecture in which content is treated as the primitive of communication. In CCN, routers are equipped with con- tent stores at the content level, which act as caches for fre- quently requested content. Based on this design, the Internet is available to provide content distribution services without any application-layer support. In addition, as caches are inte- grated into routers, the overall performance of CCN will be deeply affected by the caching efficiency. In this paper, our aim is to gain some insights on how caches should be designed to maintain a high performance in a cost-efficient way. We try to model the two-layer cache hi- erarchy composed of CCN touters using a two-dimensional discrete-time Markov chain, and develop an efficient algo- rithm to calculate the hit ratios of these caches. Simulations validate the accuracy of our modeling method, and convey some meaningful information which can help us better un- derstand the caching mechanism of CCN.

Noise-induced hearing loss is the primary non-genetic factor contributing to auditory ***,there are currently no effective pharmacological interventions for patients with noise-induced hearing ***,we present evidence suggesting that the lysine-specific demethylase 1 inhibitor–tranylcypromine is an otoprotective agent that could be used to treat noise-induced hearing loss,and elucidate its underlying regulatory *** established a mouse model of permanent threshold shift hearing loss by exposing the mice to white broadband noise at a sound pressure level of 120 d B for 4 *** found that tranylcypromine treatment led to the upregulation of Sestrin2(SESN2)and activation of the autophagy markers light chain 3B and lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 1 in the cochleae of mice treated with *** noise exposure group treated with tranylcypromine showed significantly lower average auditory brainstem response hearing thresholds at click,4,8,and 16 k Hz frequencies compared with the noise exposure group treated with *** findings indicate that tranylcypromine treatment resulted in increased SESN2,light chain 3B,and lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 1 expression after noise exposure,leading to a reduction in levels of 4-hydroxynonenal and cleaved caspase-3,thereby reducing noise-induced hair cell ***,immunoblot analysis demonstrated that treatment with tranylcypromine upregulated SESN2 expression via the autophagy *** treatment also reduced the production of NOD-like receptor family pyrin domaincontaining 3(NLRP3)*** conclusion,our results showed that tranylcypromine treatment ameliorated cochlear inflammation by promoting the expression of SESN2,which induced autophagy,thereby restricting NLRP3-related inflammasome signaling,alleviating cochlear hair cell loss,and protecting hearing *** findings suggest that inhibiting lysine-specific demethylase 1 is a

The dynamic soil-tunnel interaction is studied by indirect boundary element method （IBEM）, using the model of a rigid tunnel in layered half-space, which is simplified to a single soil layer on elastic bedrock, subjected to incident plane SH waves. The accuracy of the results is verified through comparison with the analytical solution. It is shown that soil-tunnel interaction in layered half-space is larger than that in homogeneous half-space and this interaction mechanism is essentially different from that of soil-foundation-superstructure interaction.
