BACKGrOUND Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)is a prodrug of a nucleotide *** an antiviral drug,TDF has been proposed in the first-line treatment of chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Qingzhong,a brand name of TDF,commercialized by jiangsu Chia-tai Tianqing pharmaceutical Co Ltd.,and Viread,another brand name of TDF,commercialized by GlaxoSmithKline,have both been ap.r.ved by the State Food and Drug Administration,*** To investigate the efficacy and safety of the two TDF agents in the treatment of Chinese CHB *** This trial was registered at *** with the identifier number of NCT02287857.A total of 330 Chinese CHB patients,among which 232 were hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive,were included in this 5-year-long,multicenter,double-blinded,double-dummy,randomized-controlled,noninferiority phase III *** p.r.icipants were initially randomized into two groups:Group A(n=161),in which the p.r.icipants received 300 mg Qingzhong once a day for 48 wk;and Group B,in which the p.r.icipants received 300 mg Viread once a day for 48 *** from week 49,all the p.r.icipants in Groups A and B received 300 mg Qingzhong once a day until the 96th *** this study,the primary endpoint was the decrease in plasma level of hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA at the 96th week,while the secondary endpoints were sup.r.ssion of HBV replication,alanine aminotransferase(ALT)normalization,HBeAg loss,and HBeAg seroconversion *** For the p.r.icipants with HBeAg-positive CHB,the decrease in mean HBV DNA level relative to the baseline value was comp.r.ble between Groups A and B(5.77 vs 5.73 log10 IU/mL,p>0.05)at the 96th *** addition,similar p.r.entages of HBeAg-positive p.r.icipants in the two groups exhibited undetectable levels of HBV DNA,HBeAg loss,and HBeAg seroconversion(71.05%vs 77.97%,31.00%vs 27.27%,and 20.22%vs 15.79%,respectively,in Group A vs Group B;p>0.05).For the p.r.icipants with HBeAg-negative CHB,the decrease in mean HBV DNA level r

Background:Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is associated with altered brain development,but it is unclear which specific structural changes may serve as potential diagnostic markers,p.r.icularly in young children at the age when symptoms become fully ***,such brain markers need to meet the requirements of precision medicine and be accurate in aiding diagnosis at an individual rather than only a group ***:This study aimed to identify and model brain-wide differences in structural connectivity using diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in young ASD and typically developing(TD)***:A discovery cohort including 93 ASD and 26 TD children and two independent validation cohorts including 12 ASD and 9 TD children from three different cities in china were ***-wide(294 regions)structural connectivity was measured using DTI(fractional anisotropy,FA)together with symptom severity and cognitive development.A connection matrix was constructed for each child for comp.r.sons between ASD and TD *** classification was p.r.ormed on the discovery dataset and the resulting model was tested on the two independent validation ***:Thirty-three structural connections showed increased FA in ASD comp.r.d to TD children and associated with both autistic symptom severity and impaired general cognitive *** majority(29/33)involved the frontal lobe and comprised five different networks with functional relevance to default mode,motor control,social recognition,language and ***,clas-sification achieved very high accuracy of 96.77%in the discovery dataset,and 91.67%and 88.89%in the two independent validation ***:Identified structural connectivity differences primarily involving the frontal cortex can very accurately distinguish novel individual ASD from TD children and may therefore represent a robust early brain biomarker which can address the requirements of precision medicine.

Cholangiocarcinoma refers to malignant tumors that develop in epithelial lining of biliary system, and it is divided into two categories according to tumor location, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma （ICC） and extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma （ECC）. ICC occurs from the epithelial cells of the intrahepatic bile duct, its branches and interlobular biliary tree; and ECC is divided into hilar cholangiocarcinoma and distal cholangiocarcinoma by the circumscription at the confluence of cystic duct and the common hepatic duct.

AIM: To investigate the relationship of serum levels of polyunsaturated fatty acid(pUFA) with kinds of cytokines in colorectal cancer(CrC).METHODS: Serum samples of 100 CrC patients were collected. The concentration of total n-3 pUFA which included C18:3 n-3, C20:5 n-3, C22:5 n-3, C22:6 n-3 and the total n-6 pUFA included C18:2 n-6, C18:3 n-6, C20:3 n-6, C20:4 n-6, and C22:5 n-6 were detected onGC-2010 plus Gas Chromatograph with a Omegawax TM 250 column. Cytokines were detected by Mag plex TM-C microspheres. p values for the trend were estimated by creating a continuous variable using the median value within ***: Interleukin-6(IL-6) showed significantly positive association with the C20:4 n-6(p for trend = 0.004). Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) showed significant positive association with the C22:5 n-3(p for trend = 0.035). IL-8 and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMp-9) showed significant inverse association with the C22:6 n-3(p for trend = 0.049, and 0.021). MMp-2 showed significant inverse association with the C20:5 n-3(p for trend = 0.008). MMp-7 showed significantly positive association with the ratio of n-6 pUFA and n-3 pUFA(p for trend = 0.008). MMp-7 also showed significantly inverse association with the ratio of C20:4 n-6 and(n-6 pUFA + n-3 pUFA)(p for trend = 0.024). IL-10(p for trend = 0.023) and IL-6(p for trend = 0.036) showed significantly positive association with the ratio of C20:4 n-6 and C20:5 ***: Our data suggested that serum levels of pUFA is related to the inflammation of CrC, and also play different role in regulation of immune response.

A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copp.r.foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented *** growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene *** achievements were realized by a temp.r.ture-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temp.r.ture sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. It is very likely that this ap.r.ach can be scaled up to achieve exceptionally large and high-quality graphene films with single crystallinity, and thus realize various industrial-level applications at a low cost.

中子辐射俘获反应在反应堆运行、核装置设计及核天体物理研究中起重要的作用.4πBaF_(2)探测装置有着高时间分辨能力、低中子灵敏度、高探测效率等优点,适合开展中子辐射俘获反应截面数据的测量.中国原子能科学研究院核数据重点实验室建立了伽马全吸收装置(Gamma total absorption facility,GTAF),该装置用28块六棱BaF_(2)晶体和12块五棱BaF_(2)晶体构成了外径25 cm,内径10 cm的球壳,覆盖了95.2%的立体角.利用GTAF在中国散裂中子源Back-n束线上,测量了197Au(n,γ)的反应截面数据.测量数据通过能量筛选、pSD方法、晶体多重性筛选进行了初步本底扣除,随后结合对^(nat)C及空样品的测量数据对本底进行了分析及扣除,获得了197Au俘获反应的产额,利用SAMMY程序拟合得到了^(197)Au在1—100 e V的共振能量、中子共振宽度和伽马共振宽度参数.实验测量结果与ENDF/B-VIII.0数据库符合良好,其共振参数存在一定差异,分析原因可能与GTAF能量分辨率、Back-n的中子能谱测量精度、以及实验本底扣除方法相关,这也是下一步工作的重点.

Thalidomide inducesγ-globin expression in erythroid progenitor cells,but its efficacy on patients with transfusion-dependentβ-thalassemia(TDT)remains *** this phase 2,multi-center,randomized,double-blind clinical trial,we aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of thalidomide in TDT patients.A hundred patients of 14 years or older were randomly assigned to receive placebo or thalidomide for 12 weeks,followed by an extension phase of at least 36 *** primary endpoint was the change of hemoglobin(Hb)level in the *** secondary endpoints included the red blood cell(rBC)units transfused and adverse *** the placebo-controlled p.r.od,Hb concentrations in patients treated with thalidomide achieved a median elevation of 14.0(range,2.5 to 37.5)g/L,whereas Hb in patients treated with placebo did not significantly *** the 12 weeks,the mean rBC transfusion volume for patients treated with thalidomide and placebo was 5.4±5.0 U and 10.3±6.4 U,respectively(prse events of drowsiness,dizziness,fatigue,p.r.xia,sore throat,and rash were more common with thalidomide than *** the extension phase,treatment with thalidomide for 24 weeks resulted in a sustainable increase in Hb concentrations which reached 104.9±19.0 g/L,without blood *** increase in Hb concentration and reduction in rBC transfusions were associated with nonβ0/β0 and HBS1L-MYB(rs9399137 C/T,C/C;rs4895441 A/G,G/G)*** results demonstrated that thalidomide is effective in patients with TDT.
