Objective:To evaluate the anti-allergic effect of boeravinone B against ovalbumin-induced allergic rhinitis in mice and explore its possible ***:For the induction of allergic rhinitis,mice were intraperitoneally sensitized and intranasally challenged with ovalbumin,as well as orally received various concentrations of boeravinone *** mucosal inflammation,and the levels of nitric oxide,β-hexosaminidase,IFN-γ,LTC-4,myeloperoxidase,Nrf2,HO-1,GATA-3,ROR-γ,T-bet,antioxidant parameters,and allergen-specific cytokines were ***:Boeravinone B markedly reduced ovalbumin-induced increase in the number of episodes of nasal sneezing,rubbing,and discharge,as well as the levels of IgE,IgG1,andβ-hexosaminidase(P<0.05).It also significantly reduced differential cell count,myeloperoxidase,oxide-nitrosative stress,and the levels of IL-1β,IL-4,IL-5,IL-6,IL-13,IL-17,tumor necrosis factor-α,GATA-3,and ROR-γwhile enhancing the level of ***:Boeravinone B is a potential therapeutic agent for allergic rhinitis by modulating various inflammatory mediators and immune responses.

Hydrogels are cross-linked polymers suitable for various applications,but the thermal conductivities of hydrogel-based composites have not been thoroughly *** this study,agarose hydrogel-based composites with various boron nitride(BN)fillers were synthesized and their thermal conductivities were systematically *** the increase in the agarose content from 1.5 wt%to 3.0 wt%,the thermal conductivity of the composite *** composites with BN micropowder had larger thermal conductivities than those of the composites with BN nanopowder at the same filler loading,as the BN micropowder provided better thermal conduction pathways in the hydrogel matrix than those provided by the *** maximum thermal conductivity of 2.69 W m-1·K-1 was achieved when 15 wt%microscale BN fillers were added into 1.5 wt%agarose hydrogel,which was 3.5 times larger than that of the pure agarose ***,a theoretical model was used to calculate the thermal conductivities of the BN/agarose hydrogel composites;a good agreement was achieved between the experimental and fitting *** study demonstrated that the thermal conductivities of hydrogel-based materials can be efficiently and significantly enhanced using BN fillers.

Reducing coke use is an effective measure to reduce carbon emission and energy consumption in the blast furnace(BF)***,BF is a high-temperature moving bed reactor,where complex physical transformations coupled with complicated reactions *** makes it challenging to investigate the factors determining BF performance with the conventional method.A multi-physical field coupling mathematical model of BF was thus developed to describe its mass and heat transfer as well as its intrinsic ***,the proposed model was validated with the production *** coupling conditions,influences of dominating reactions on BF performance(temperature distribution,gas distribution,iron formation reaction,and direct reduction degree)were *** results indicated that coke combustion,indirect reduction,and direct reduction of iron ore mainly took place nearby the shaft tuyere,cohesive zone,and dripping zone,***,the rate of coke solution loss reaction was increased with the rising coke porosity in the cohesive *** the effect of coke porosity on the efficiency and stability of BF,the coke porosity of 0.42 was regarded as a reasonable value.

Black phosphorus(BP)has attracted an ever-growing interest due to its unique anisotropic two-dimensional structure,impressive photoelectronic properties and attractive application ***,the tools for bandgap engineering and passivation via covalent modification of BP nanosheets remain limited to diazonium salt and nucleophilic addition methods,so that developing new modification strategies for BP nanosheets is crucial to explore its physical and chemical properties and enrich the toolbox for ***,we report the covalent modification of liquid-phase exfoliated BP nanosheets based on a rational analysis of BP *** modification of BP is achieved via carbene,a highly reactive organic *** carbene modification improves the solubility and stability of BP *** microscopic and spectroscopic characterizations including infrared spectra,Raman spectra,X-ray photoelectron spectra,SEM and TEM were conducted to provide insights for the *** proof of the existence of covalent bonds between BP nanosheets and organic moieties confirms the successful ***,theoretical calculations were conducted to unveil the reaction mechanism of the two different types of bonds and the chemical property of two-dimensional BP.

Motif-based graph local clustering(MGLC)is a popular method for graph mining tasks due to its various ***,the traditional two-phase approach of precomputing motif weights before performing local clustering loses locality and is impractical for large *** some attempts have been made to address the efficiency bottleneck,there is still no applicable algorithm for large scale graphs with billions of *** this paper,we propose a purely local and index-free method called Index-free Triangle-based Graph Local Clustering(TGLC^(*))to solve the MGLC problem w.r.t.a ***^(*)directly estimates the Personalized PageRank(PPR)vector using random walks with the desired triangleweighted distribution and proposes the clustering result using a standard sweep *** demonstrate TGLC^(*)’s scalability through theoretical analysis and its practical benefits through a novel visualization ***^(*)is the first algorithm to solve the MGLC problem without precomputing the motif *** experiments on seven real-world large-scale datasets show that TGLC^(*)is applicable and scalable for large graphs.

In this paper,we investigate local properties in the system of completely integral mapping *** introduce notions of injectivity,local reflexivity,exactness,nuclearity,finite-represent ability and WEP in the system of completely integral mapping *** we obtain that any finite-dimensional operator space is injective in the system of completely integral mapping *** we prove that C is the unique nuclear operator space and the unique exact operator space in this *** also show that C is the unique operator space which is finitely representable in{T_(n)}n∈Nin this *** corollaries,Kirchberg’s conjecture and QWEP conjecture in the system of completely integral mapping spaces are false.

Background To investigate the effects of lighting conditions and accommodation on the three-dimensional position of Visian implantable collamer lens(ICL V4c).Methods This observational study recruited 62 eyes of 31 myopia patients underwent ICL V4c *** segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT)assessed the anterior chamber depth(ACD),ACD-ICL(distance from the corneal endothelium to anterior surface of the ICL V4c),vault(distance between the posterior ICL V4c surface and anterior crystalline lens surface),and crystalline lens tilt under various lighting conditions and accommodation relative to the corneal topographic axis at one year after ICL V4c *** was defined as the scotopic condition,which was also the non-accommodative stimulus *** ICL V4c tilt was analyzed using *** significance level was set at P<*** The ACD-ICL values were similar under various lighting conditions(P=0.978)but decreased during accommodation(P<0.001).The vault was significantly smaller under mesopic and photopic conditions than the baseline(P=0.044 and P<0.001,respectively)but remained unchanged during accommodation(P=0.058).The inferotemporal proportion of ICL V4c(88.7%,55 eyes)and crystalline lens(74.2%,46 eyes)tilts were not significantly different(P=0.063).Crystalline lens under various lighting conditions and accommodation exhibited similar *** vertical tilt of ICL V4c was significantly larger under photopic conditions than the baseline(P=0.038).The horizontal and total tilts were significantly decreased during accommodation(P=0.043 and 0.013,respectively).Conclusions The axial position of ICL V4c in the anterior chamber was stable under various lighting *** conditions and accommodation may influence vertical,horizontal and total tilts of ICL V4c.

To enable the experimental assessment of the seismic performance of full-scale nonstructural elements with multiple engineering parameters(EDPs),a three-layer testbed named Nonstructural Element Simulator on Shake Table(NEST)has been *** testbed consists of three consecutive floors of steel *** bottom two floors provide a space to accommodate a full-scale *** fully explore the flexibility of NEST,we propose a novel control strategy to generate the required shake table input time histories for the testbed to track the target floor motions of the buildings of interest with high *** control strategy contains two parts:an inverse dynamic compensation via simulation of feedback control systems(IDCS)algorithm and an offline iteration procedure based on a refined nonlinear numerical model of the *** key aspects of the control strategy were introduced in this *** tests were conducted to simulate the seismic responses of a full-scale office room on the 21^(st)floor of a 42-story high-rise *** test results show that the proposed control strategy can reproduce the target floor motions of the building of interest with less than 20%errors within the specified frequency range.

The grain boundary(GB)damage of long-term crept HR3C(25Cr–20Ni–Nb–N)austenitic steel with solid solution state was investigated by nanoindentation test accompanied with in-situ electron back-scattered *** corresponding microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** show that the increase in nanoindentation hardness at the GBs and triple grain junctions may be related to the dislocation accumulation and carbide growth during the *** M23C6 and dislocations piling-up at the GB accelerate the nucleation and coalescence of creep cavity along the *** nanoindentation hardness in grains varies with orientation of the stress *** orientation difference of neighbor grains may induce local high geometrically necessary dislocation densities and strain gradients near the GB,consequently causing stress concentration and subsequent crack growth at specific GBs.

Cerasus humilis is a kind of economic fruit tree peculiar to China,which is widely used in the food,landscape,and pharmaceutical *** are a phenolic metabolite that plays an essential role in fruit ***,the regulatory network of *** in anthocyanin biosynthesis is still *** this study,the R2R3-MYB transcription factor ChMYB1 was isolated from the full genome of the *** one-hybrid,dual-luciferase assays,and GUS staining showed that ChMYB1 significantly increased anthocyanin contents in *** fruit by promoting the expression of ChCHS and ChUFGT by binding MBS(MYB-binding elements).ChMYB1 interacted with ChbHLH42and ChTTG1 to form the MBW complex and further enhanced the expression of *** addition,abscisic acid(ABA)treatment promoted the expression of ChMYB1 and anthocyanin accumulation in *** ***,ABA treatment enhanced the interaction between ChMYB1 and ***,ChABI5 inhibited the interaction between ChMYB1 and *** data elucidated the primary molecular mechanism of anthocyanin biosynthesis in *** fruit,deepening the understanding of the regulatory network affecting anthocyanin metabolism in edible fruit crops.
