Linitis plastica is a rare condition showing circumferentially infiltrating intramural anaplastic carcinoma in a hollow viscus, resulting in a tissue thickening of the involved organ as constricted, inelastic, and rigid. While most secondary rectal linitis plastica(RLP) is caused by metastasis from stomach, breast, gallbladder, or bladder cancer, we report an extremely rare and unique case of secondary RLP due to prostate cancer with computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) findings, including diffusion weighted imaging(DWI). A 78-year-old man presented with approximately a 2-mo history of constipation and without cancer history. On sigmoidoscopy, there was a luminal narrowing and thickening of rectum with mucosa being grossly normal in its appearance. On contrast-enhanced CT,marked contrast enhancement with wall thickening of rectum was noted. On pelvic MRI, rectal wall thickening showed a target sign on both T2-weighted imaging and DWI. A diffuse infiltrative lesion was suspected in the prostate gland based on low signal intensity on T2-weighted imaging and restricted diffusion. A transanal full-thickness excisional biopsy revealed metastasis from a prostate adenocarcinoma invading the submucosa to the muscularis propria consistent with metastatic RLP. We would like to emphasize the CT and MRI findings of metastatic RLP due to prostate cancer.

In the paper, we study a compressible two-fluid model in ℝ3, where γ±>1. The pressure of the two fluids is equal. Different from previous research, we consider that viscosity coefficient both μand λare functions of density. The global well-posedness of the three-dimensional compressible two-phase flow model is an open problem due to its dissipative, nonlinear structure. In the paper, setting m±=M±and Z=P−P¯, by exploiting the dissipation structure, we obtain energy estimates for (Z,w,n)and its derivatives, then we obtain the time decay rates for (Z,w,n). So we derive global well-posedness and large time behavior to the three dimensional compressible two-fluid model.

All-solid-state batteries(ASSBs)are pursued due to their potential for better safety and high energy ***,the energy density of the cathode for ASSBs does not seem to be satisfactory due to the low utilization of active materials(AMs)at high *** small amount of solid electrolyte(SE)powder in the cathode,poor electrochemical performance is often observed due to contact loss and non-homogeneous distribution of AMs and SEs,leading to high tortuosity and limitation of lithium and electron transport ***,we propose a novel cathode design that can achieve high volumetric energy density of 1258 Wh L^(-1)at high AM content of 85 wt%by synergizing the merits of AM@SE core–shell composite particles with conformally coated thin SE shell prepared from mechanofusion process and small SE *** core–shell structure with an intimate and thin SE shell guarantees high ionic conduction pathway while unharming the electronic *** addition,small SE particles play the role of a filler that reduces the packing porosity in the cathode composite electrode as well as between the cathode and the SE separator *** systematic demonstration of the optimization process may provide understanding and guidance on the design of electrodes for ASSBs with high electrode density,capacity,and ultimately energy density.

Multimode fibers (MMFs) have great potential for endoscopic imaging due to the high number of modes and a small core diameter. Deep learning based on neural networks has received increasing attention in the field of scattering image reconstruction. However， most studies focus on designing complex network architectures to improve reconstruction， but these network models struggle to reconstruct images in a weak laser field. In the paper， a lightweight generative adversarial network model combined with a histogram specification algorithm is designed to reconstruct speckles in the weak laser field through MMF. Experimental results show that the reconstruction results of our algorithm have better metrics. Moreover， the model demonstrates excellent cross-domain generalization ability with regards to the Fashion-MNIST dataset. It is worth mentioning that we found that the speckles after inactivation still retain the ability to be reconstructed， which enhances the robustness of the model

Although deep learning methods have been widely applied in slam visual odometry over the past decade with impressive improvements， the accuracy remains limited in complex dynamic environments. In this paper， a composite mask-based generative adversarial network is introduced to predict camera motion and binocular depth maps. Specifically， a perceptual generator is constructed to obtain the corresponding parallax map and optical flow from between two neighboring frames. Then， an iterative pose improvement strategy is proposed to improve the accuracy of pose estimation. Finally， a composite mask is embedded in the discriminator to sense structural deformation in the synthesized virtual image， thereby increasing the overall structural constraints of the network model， improving the accuracy of camera pose estimation， and reducing drift issues in the Visual Odometer. Detailed quantitative and qualitative evaluations on the KITTI dataset show that the proposed framework outperforms existing conventional， supervised learning and unsupervised depth VO methods， providing better results in both pose estimation and depth estimation.

Objective: To examine the effectiveness of Chinese medicine(CM) Lianhua Qingwen Granule(LHQW) and jingyin Gubiao Prescription(JYGB) in asymptomatic or mild patients with Omicron infection in the shelter hospital. Methods: This single-center retrospective cohort study was conducted in the largest shelter hospital in Shanghai, China, from April 10, 2022 to May 30, 2022. A total of 56,244 asymptomatic and mild Omicron cases were included and divided into 4 groups, i.e., non-administration group(23,702 cases), LHQW group(11,576 cases), JYGB group(12,112 cases), and dual combination of LHQW and JYGB group(8,854 cases). The length of stay(LOS) in the hospital was used to assess the effectiveness of LHQW and JYGB treatment on Omicron infection. Results: Patients aged 41–60 years, with nadir cycle threshold(CT) value of N gene <25, or those fully vaccinated preferred to receive CM therapy. Before or after propensity score matching(PSM), the multiple linear regression showed that LHQW and JYGB treatment were independent influence factors of LOS(both P<0.001). After PSM, there were significant differences in LOS between the LHQW/JYGB combination and the other groups(P<0.01). The results of factorial design ANOVA proved that the LHQW/JYGB combination therapy synergistically shortened LOS(P=0.032). Conclusions: Patients with a nadir CT value <25were more likely to accept CM. The LHQW/JYGB combination therapy could shorten the LOS of Omicron-infected individuals in an isolated environment.

BACKGROUND The International Study Group of Pancreatic Surgery has established the defi-nition and grading system for postpancreatectomy acute pancreatitis(PPAP).There are no established machine learning models for predicting PPAP following pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD).AIM To explore the predictive model of PPAP,and test its predictive efficacy to guide the clinical *** Clinical data from consecutive patients who underwent PD between 2016 and 2024 were retrospectively *** analysis of PPAP risk factors was performed,various machine learning algorithms[logistic regression,random forest,gradient boosting decision tree,extreme gradient boosting,light gradient boosting machine,and category boosting(CatBoost)]were utilized to develop predictive *** feature elimination was employed to select several variables to achieve the optimal machine *** The study included 381 patients,of whom 88(23.09%)developed *** patients exhibited a significantly higher incidence of postoperative pancreatic fistula(55.68%vs 14.68%,P<0.001),grade C postoperative pancreatic fistula(9.09%vs 1.37%,P=0.001).The CatBoost algorithm outperformed other algorithms with a mean area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.859[95%confidence interval(CI):0.814-0.905]in the training cohort and 0.822(95%CI:0.717-0.927)in the testing *** to shapley additive explanations analysis,pancreatic texture,main pancreatic duct diameter,body mass index,estimated blood loss,and surgery time were the most important variables based on recursive feature *** CatBoost algorithm based on selected variables demonstrated superior performance,with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.837(95%CI:0.788-0.886)in the training cohort and 0.812(95%CI:0.697-0.927)in the testing *** We developed the first machine learning-based predictive model for PPAP following *** predictive model can assist surgeons in an

对于存在较大姿态测量误差、宽视场角和弱交会情况的卫星影像,传统有理函数模型区域网平差方法的误差补偿能力有限。虽然从物方角度去建立误差模型能够避免传统方法的局限性,但现有方法的模型构造都较为复杂。首先通过有理函数模型恢复像点的视线向量,求解视线指向角并构建指向角误差模型,然后通过区域网平差求解模型参数,最后根据模型参数更新有理多项式系数。仿真和真实的高分一号宽幅卫星影像实验表明,对比传统方法,所提方法在不同的角元素误差和控制点数量条件下可以取得更优且更稳定的定位结果;对交会角仅有0.05°的高分二号卫星影像进行实验,结果表明,所提方法无需数字高程模型辅助和弱交会检测就能得到收敛的结果,像方定位精度可达到1.89像素。
