This article reviews the literature concerning rheu-matic manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD),including common immune-mediated pathways,frequency,clinical course and therapy. Musculoskel-etal complications are frequent and well-recognized manifestations in IBD,and affect up to 33% of pa-tients with IBD. The strong link between the bowel and the osteo-articular system is suggested by many clinical and experimental observations,notably in HLA-B27 transgenic rats. The autoimmune pathogenic mechanisms shared by IBD and spondyloarthropathies include genetic susceptibility to abnormal antigen pre-sentation,aberrant recognition of self,the presence of autoantibodies against specific antigens shared by the colon and other extra-colonic tissues,and increased intestinal permeability. The response against microor-ganisms may have an important role through molecular mimicry and other mechanisms. Rheumatic mani-festations of IBD have been divided into peripheral arthritis,and axial involvement,including sacroiliitis,with or without spondylitis,similar to idiopathic anky-losing spondylitis. Other periarticular features can oc-cur,including enthesopathy,tendonitis,clubbing,peri-ostitis,and granulomatous lesions of joints and *** and osteomalacia secondary to IBD and iatrogenic complications can also occur. The manage-ment of the rheumatic manifestations of IBD consists of physical therapy in combination with local injection of corticosteroids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; caution is in order however,because of their possible harmful effects on intestinal integrity,perme-ability,and even on gut inflammation. sulfasalazine,methotrexate,azathioprine,cyclosporine and lefluno-mide should be used for selected indications. In some cases,tumor necrosis factor-α blocking agents should be considered as first-line therapy.

We introduce the differential polynomial of a graph. The differential polynomial of a graph G of order n is the polynomial B(G; x) :=∑?(G)k=-nB_k(G) x^(n+k), where B_k(G) denotes the number of vertex subsets of G with differential equal to k. We state some properties of B(G;x) and its *** particular, we compute the differential polynomial for complete, empty, path, cycle, wheel and double star graphs. We also establish some relationships between B(G; x) and the differential polynomials of graphs which result by removing, adding, and subdividing an edge from G.

Glacial cirques are typical landscape features of mid-latitude mountain environments like the Central Pyrenees. Their morphology as well as their spatial distribution provides insights about past glaciers and climates. In this study, we examine the distribution, morphometrical and topographical characteristics of glacial cirques in two U-shaped glacial valleys located in the Central Pyrenees – the Aran and the Boí valleys. They are located in different aspects of this mountain range(north vs south) under different climatic influences that promoted distinct glaciation patterns during the late Pleistocene. The spatial mapping of these landforms was carried out using high-resolution imagery and field observations. We analysed the data of the morphometrical and topographical variables of the glacial cirques by using different statistical and geospatial methods in order tounveil the factors controlling their formation and development. A total of 186 glacial cirques were mapped in the study area, including 119 in the Aran and 67 in the Boí valleys. The local topography and microclimate conditions lead to substantial differences in both areas in terms of the morphology and dimensions of the cirques. Glacial cirques in Boí are distributed at slightly higher elevations than in Aran and they are also larger, though their dimensions decrease with elevation in both valleys. Aran cirques are mostly oriented NE, while Boí landforms do not show any prevailing aspect. Even though lithology does not control the distribution of the glacial cirques, some specific lithological settings may favour the development of larger cirques. In general, glacial cirques in the Aran and the Boí valleys show morphometrical properties similar to those reported in other mid-latitude mountain ranges.

In this paper,the influence of oxidation of automatic transmission fluids(ATFs)and sliding distance on the friction coefficients of a wet clutch in approached running-in conditions was *** ATFs were oxidized by a laboratory process approaching oxidation occurred in actual *** was evaluated by means of increase in carbonyl compounds and depletion of zinc dialkyldithiophosphates(ZDDPs)***,the changes in kinematic viscosity and viscosity index were ***-ondisk tests were conducted to replicate the actual sliding contact in a wet *** pin specimens were cut from friction material composite plates and the disks were actual steel separators both from an automotive wet *** coefficient, μ,was measured at progressive sliding velocity,ν,to obtain μ–νcurves at 26 and 100°*** μ–νtests were consecutively run using the same pair of specimens and *** cumulative sliding distance for each μ–νtest generated surface flattening using the *** friction coefficients of the wet clutch increased due to the ATFs oxidation meanwhile the dm/dv values decreased in most *** suggests that ATF oxidation can enhance torque capacity of the wet clutch,but it could reduce anti-shudder *** sliding distance improved the slopes in the μ–νresults using fresh ATFs meanwhile it generated a slope decrease by using aged ATFs.

soil erosion is one of the most serious environmental issues,especially in vulnerable areas such as the Pisha sandstone regions located in the Loess Plateau(China).In these types of reliefs,long-term studies monitoring runoff and soil loss are scarce,and even more considering the efficiency of different soil management techniques applied to reduce land *** this study,seven years(2014-2020)of in-situ measurements of surface runoff and soil loss for different land uses(forestland,shrubland,grassland,farmland,and bare land)in a Pisha sandstone environment at the Loess Plateau were *** applied the Water Erosion Prediction Project(WEPP)model combining the large database with the precipitation *** results showed that runoff volume coming from observed and simulated data exhibited significant differences among them depending on the different vegetation *** and soil loss were different among diverse land use types as follows:farmland>grassland>shrubland>*** conducting a calibration,we found satisfactorily simulated surface runoff and sediment yield based on precipitation regimes and land uses at sandstone *** performance of surface runoff was better than sediment *** range of standard error of the model simulation for event and annual values of runoff were 4.71 mm and 12.19 mm,*** standard error for event and annual values of soil loss were 4.19 t/hm^(2)and 21.86 t/hm^(2).In the calibration group,R2 of runoff and soil loss were 0.92 and 0.86 respectively,while Nash-sutcliffe coefficient(E)reached 0.90 and 0.85,*** the validation group,the R2 for both runoff and soil loss were 0.82 and 0.56,***-sutcliffe coefficient(E)were 0.77 and 0.54 for the runoff and sediment *** concluded that using a detailed monitoring dataset,the WEPP model could accu-rately simulate and predict water erosion in the hillslopes of Pisha sandstone area.

The nuclear factor kappaB(NF-κB)family of transcription factors regulates immune and inflammatory responses and controls cell survival,proliferation,differentiation,and apoptosis.1 The five subunits of the NF-κB family,(RelA,RelB,c-Rel,p105/p50,and p100/p52),are categorized as activating(RelA,RelB,and c-Rel),or inhibitory(p105/p50 and p100/p52),based on the presence or absence of the transactivation domain and form homo-and ***-dependent activation of NF-κB,either by the classical pathway involving the degradation of the inhibitor of NF-κB(IκB)or by the alternative pathway involving the partial degradation of p100 to p52 and formation of the p52/RelB dimer,has emerged as a central theme in the regulation of NF-κBdependent genes.2–4 However,in sertoli cells and some neurons,lymphocytes,and malignant cells,NF-κB has been shown to be constitutively active in the nucleus5,6(***/nf-kb).Moreover,several recent studies have also identified disease-associated mutations in the NF-κB subunits that affect their expression level and transcriptional activity.2,7 Our understanding of the ways in which the changes in the basal level of NF-κB affect the subsequent basal regulation of the expression of NF-κBdependent genes remain poorly defined.

Aroma is central to the worldwide success of truffles as gourmet food and the high prices paid for these edible *** this study,volatile organic compounds(VOCs)from fruiting bodies of two Chinese truffles of commercial relevance,Tuber indicum and Tuber pseudohimalayense,were analyzed using headspace solid-phase microextraction(Hs-sPME)coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-Ms).We aimed to characterize the aroma profile and determine whether it would be influenced by provenance and stage of *** thus collected and analyzed young,middle mature and mature fruiting bodies of each species from different locations in Yunnan and sichuan provinces,located in southwestern ***,76 VOCs were identified,belonging to different chemical classes,*** and phenols,aldehydes and ketones,benzenes and methoxy compounds,hydrocarbons and amines.A large number of volatiles identified in *** and *** are reported here for the first time for these *** more than 50%of identified VOCs were produced by both truffle species,considerable differences were present in the aroma profiles of fruiting bodies collected at various maturation stages,revealing a dynamic pattern in the biosynthesis of ***,truffles of different provenance had distinct proportions of volatile constituents,suggesting that,besides genetic factors,edaphic and microclimatic conditions influence the synthesis of VOCs in a complex manner.

In recent decades,the rapid climate warming in polar and alpine regions has been accompanied by an expan-sion of shrub ***,little is known about how changes in shrub distribution will change as the distribution of tree species and snow cover changes as temperatures *** this work,we analyzed the main environmental factors influencing the distribution and structure of Juniperus sibir-ica,the most common shrub species in the southern Ural *** mapping and digital elevation models,we demonstrated that *** forms a well-defined vegeta-tion belt mainly between 1100 and 1400 m *** this zone,the abundance and cover of *** are influenced by factors such as rockiness,slope steepness,water regime and tree(Picea obovata)*** analysis of data spanning the past 9 years revealed an upward shift in the distribution of *** with a decrease in its *** primary limit-ing factors for the distribution of *** were the removal of snow cover by strong winter winds and competition with *** a consequence of climatic changes,the tree line and forest limit have shifted upward,further restricting the distribution of *** to higher elevations where com-petition for light with trees is reduced and snow cover is sufficiently deep.
