为获得有抗氧化活性的工业用酵母菌株,对2株来源于原料乳中有较强抗氧化活性的酵母菌进行鉴定.根据菌株的表型、生理生化特征和基因型的特性,初步将这2株菌鉴定为毕赤氏发酵酵母(Pichia fermentans).将这2株酵母菌在高温灭菌(UHT)牛乳中培养以研究其对牛乳主要成分的影响,结果表明:这2株酵母能在UHT牛乳中产乙醇,具有促进蛋白水解活性与脂肪水解活性的能力,能有效提高乳中的游离氨基酸和脂肪酸的含量.

Wireless Mesh Network is presented as an appealing solution for bridging the digital divide between developed and under-developed regions. But the planning and deployment of these networks are not just a technical matter, since the success depends on many other factors tied to the related region. Although we observe some deployments, to ensure usefulness and sustainability, there is still a need of concrete design process model and proper network planning approach for rural regions, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. This paper presents a design methodology to provide network connectivity from a landline node in a rural region at very low cost. We propose a methodology composed of ten steps, starting by a deep analysis of the region in order to identify relevant constraints and useful applications to sustain local activities and communication. Approach for planning the physical architecture of the network is based on an indoor-outdoor deployment for reducing the overall cost of the network.

Lannea kerstingii is known for its multiple therapeutic and biological activities. Despite of many traditional uses of this plant, scientific research on the content of its chemical compounds is still limited. This study aims to isolate the chemical compounds contained in the n-butanol fraction of Lannea kerstingii leaves. The chemical investigation of the leaves of Lannea kerstingii led to isolation of three undescribed C-13 norisoprenoids, lankerstinol A-C (1-3), together with six (4-9) known flavonoid glycosides. The structures of these compounds were established by spectroscopic analyses.

Sand is an important natural material for the construction of houses, work buildings and other public spaces. This work, which is one of the first contributions to the environmental quality of construction materials, concerns the measurement of natural radioactivity in the lagoon sands collected in the district of Abidjan. Nineteen (19) samples of these sands are analyzed by gamma-ray spectrometry equipped with HPGe detector. The mean values obtained for 226Ra, 232Th and 40K are respectively 7.76 ± 1.84 Bq·kg-1, 5.21 ± 1.36 Bq·kg-1, and 217.31 ± 5.03 Bq·kg-1. The estimated average value of radium equivalent (Raeq) is 31.94 Bq·kg-1. The results show that the average values obtained are far lower than the global limits of 35, 30, and 400 Bq·kg-1 for the concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K, respectively, and 370 Bq·kg-1 for the equivalent radium established by the United Nations Scientiﬁc Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR). Therefore, the use of the analyzed lagoon sand samples in the different construction sectors should not cause serious radiological effects on the populations living in the District of Abidjan. Our results provide new data on building materials radioactivity in Côte d’Ivoire and all over the World. They can also be used as a reference for future work.

AIM To prospectively evaluate the performance of Dopplerultrasonography(US) for the detection of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS) dysfunction within a multicenter cohort of cirrhotic *** This study was conducted in 10 french teaching hospitals. After TIPS insertion, angiography and liver Doppler-US were carried out every six months to detect dysfunction(defined by a portosystemic gradient ≥ 12 mm Hg and/or a stent stenosis ≥ 50%). The association between ultrasonographic signs and dysfunction was studied by logistic random-effects models, and the diagnostic performance of each Doppler criterion was estimated by the bootstrap method. This study was approved by the ethics committee of *** Two hundred and eighteen pairs of examinations performed on 87 cirrhotic patients were analyzed. Variables significantly associated with dysfunction were: The speed of flow in the portal vein(P = 0.008), the reversal of flow in the right(P = 0.038) and left(P = 0.049) portal branch, the loss of modulation of portal flow by the right atrium(P = 0.0005), ascites(P = 0.001) and the overall impression of the operator(P = 0.0001). The diagnostic performances of these variables were low; sensitivity was < 58% and negative predictive value was < 73%. Therefore, dysfunction cannot be ruled out from Doppler-US. CONCLUSION The performance of Doppler-US for the detection of TIPS dysfunction is poor compared to angiography. New tools are needed to improve diagnosis of TIPS dysfunction.

研究了Pichia fermentans酵母菌产多糖YP5的单糖组成和结构。将酵母菌进行超声破碎后,采用乙醇沉淀法得到粗多糖,然后进行DEAE-纤维素色谱柱分离,得到均一的水溶性多糖YP5。经气相色谱分析表明,糖基由鼠李糖、阿拉伯糖、木糖、甘露糖、葡萄糖与半乳糖组成,其摩尔比为9.51∶1.33∶2.31∶0.94∶84.93∶0.96。乌氏粘度计法测得多糖的分子量为8.3×104。结合红外光谱和核磁共振1HNMR分析表明,该多糖YP5具有多糖特征性的红外吸收峰,存在酰胺结构,主要由β-D-葡聚糖组成。

Totally laparoscopic trans-hiatal gastroesophagectomy for benign diseases of the esophago-gastric junction

AIM: To prospectively present our initial experience with totally laparoscopic transhiatal esophagogastrectomies for benign diseases of the cardia and distal esophagus. METHODS: Laparoscopic gastric mobilization and tubularization combined with transhiatal esophageal dissection and intrathoracic esophagogastric anastomosis accomplished by a circular stapler was done in 3 patients. There were 2 females and 1 male patient with a mean age of 73 ± 5 years. RESULTS: Two patients were operated on due to benign stromal tumor of the cardia and one patient had severe oesophageal peptic stenosis. Mean blood loss was 47 ± 15 mL and mean operating time was 130 ± 10 min. There were no cases that required conversion to laparotomy. All patients were extubated immediately after surgery. Soft diet intake and ambulation times were 5.1 ± 0.4 d and 2.6 ± 0.6 d, respectively. There were no intraoperative and postoperative complications and there were no perioperative deaths. The average length of hospital stay was 9.3 ± 3 d. All procedures were curative and all resected margins were tumor free. The mean number of retrieved lymph nodes was 18 ± 8. CONCLUSION: Laparoscopic transhiatal esophago- gastrectomy for benign lesions has good effects and proves feasible and safe.
