The common spiny mouse(Acomys cahirinus)inhibits the foraging activity of the golden spiny mouse(***).These two sympatric species of spiny mice,which are considered habitat competitors,occur in extreme arid *** test this theory of competition,the influence of urinary odors of both conspecific and heterospecific mice on the foraging behavior of *** was studied under controlled laboratory *** adult males,born in captivity and unfamiliar to the odors of the donor mice,were tested in 3 experimental conditions choosing between 2 seed patches that were scented with urine of either heterospecifics(***),conspecifics(***)or controls(odors of the tested individual).Of the 20 males,12 were also tested with urine of unfamiliar gerbils,bushy-tailed jird,considered as competitors in the *** conspecific and heterospecific urine samples from Acomys significantly reduced foraging behavior of *** when compared to the control *** inhibitory effect of the Acomys urine does not result from the novelty of chemical stimuli of the urine because no effect was shown with unfamiliar gerbil *** findings are in accordance with the general theory that *** dominates the foraging activity of *** hypothesize that chemical cues in the urine of Acomys *** induce a negative effect on the foraging behavior of ***.

Mechanoluminescence （ML） is the emission of light consecutive to a mechanical force or stress imposed to a crystalline material. Many inorganic and organic compounds present this phenomenon that is known for over 400 years. Lanthanide and uranyl salts were among the first substances investigated for this property. Mechanoluminescence, also referred to as triboluminescence, is often considered as being a badly understood phenomenon. In fact it is because of two main reasons. Firstly, a variety of different mechanical stresses, from simple rubbing, to applied pressure, crushing, impact of a weight, ultrasound, laser-generated shock wave, crystallization, dissolution of crystals, or even wind can trigger it. Secondly, ML is very sensitive to the purity and morphology of the sample： in inorganic compounds, generation of traps by doping ＂impurities＂（e.g. lanthanide ions） is responsible for light emission so that the exact composition of the sample has to be known to a very detailed level; for chelates, the crystallization conditions are crucial since they often generate extended networks of weak interactions that are instrumental in triggering ML when they are broken. In fact mechanisms of ML are relatively well known and theories and models often reproduce very well the experiments. Additionally, practical applications are at hand, for example stress, crack, and impact sensors based on SrAI204：Eu11 or Et3NH[Eu（dbm）4] are used to test structures and materials as diverse as road bridges, reinforced concrete elements, pressur- ized containers or airplane wings and to image the propagation of cracks or stress distribution. Military and security applications involve detecting the passage of vehicle or soldiers and producing counter- feiting inks while more joyful applications are luminous balls, wrapping papers and adhesive tapes. Along with the legends about epidemic demons,China has developed over the centuries a medical approach to epidemic diseases based on the teachings of Hucng Di Nei Jing(《黄帝内经》Huangdi s Intermnal Classic),Nan Jing(《难经》Classic of Difficult Issues),and Shang Han Lun(《伤寒论》Treatise on Cold Damage).Other doctors and scientists participated in this evolution of knowledge,like Wang Shuhe(王叔和),Ge Hong(葛洪),Chao Yuanfang(巢元方),Sun Simiao(孙思邈),and Liu Wansu(刘完素).However,it was in the 17^th century,after the great break of the Song,Jin,and Yuan eras that an innovative spirit,Wu Youke(吴又可1582-1652)first foresaw the existence of microorganisms as we know them *** Wen Yi Lun(《瘟疫论》Treatise on Pestilence)foreshadows an original approach to epidemic diseases,particularly emerging infectious diseases of the 21^st *** them,traditional Chinese medicine developed a comprehensive method of diagnosing and treating of these diseases(Epidemic Diseases Theory瘟疫学说)within the School ofHeat Diseases(温病学派).In a third article,we will examine some applications in the treatment of the SARS 2003-2004 epidemic(非典型肺炎)and the current COVID-19(新型冠状病毒肺炎)pandemic.

本课题采用理论分析方法研究了现有低浓磨浆强度对于不含挡坝等距直齿磨盘低浓磨浆过程的强度表征效果。结果表明,单个磨齿交错区域的净法向力(fnnet)及切向力(ftnet)是目前唯一具有实际意义的有效低浓磨浆强度,其不仅适用于不含挡坝等距直齿磨盘低浓磨浆过程的表征,并可扩展至含挡坝磨盘及弧形齿磨盘。而具有实际意义的比边缘负荷(SELC及SELT)的应用具有一定的局限性,仅适用于恒定参数磨盘低浓磨浆过程的强度表征。实际上,低浓磨浆强度的合理建立、选择及应用不仅反映对磨浆机理的认知,且直接影响低浓磨浆过程的优化控制、齿型参数设计及选择。

Different kinds of media spiked with monkeypox virus(MPXV)were subjected to heat inactivation at different temperatures for various periods of *** results showed that MPXV was inactivated in less than 5 min at 70℃and less than 15 min at 60℃,with no difference between viruses from the West African and Central African *** present findings could help laboratory workers to manipulate MPXV in optimal biosafety conditions and improve their protocols.

重金属铜和镍废水未经处理排放到环境中,将对生物体造成危害。与已有处理含铜和镍废水的吸附剂首选化学品或活化剂不同,本研究使用简单、廉价、处理效率高且环境友好的活性绿茶废渣（AGWTR）结合电凝聚（ADS+EC）工艺,去除合成废水中较高浓度的铜和镍离子,并对工艺操作参数,如p H值、水力停留时间、吸附剂剂量、初始浓度、电流密度、能耗和操作成本等进行了优化,茶渣废屑进行了表征。结果表明,与电流密度为0.59 m A/cm2的其他电极相比,Fe-Fe电极被证明更好。ADS+EC工艺对两种金属离子的去除效率均超过99.5%,对于Cu2+和Ni2+,Langmuir和准二级动力学模型比Freundlich和准一级动力学模型与实验数据拟合效果更好,其最大吸附容量为15.6 mg/g和15.9 mg/g。表明吸附主要发生在AGWTR上的单层均质吸附剂表面,其动力学机制属于化学吸附。表征结果也证明,AGWTR表面粗糙,发育有较大孔隙,且微量元素及碳含量较高。此外,为了进一步证明ADS+EC工艺的处理效果,论文还探索了EC+ADS工艺,表明ADS+EC工艺更胜一筹。研究成果将为发展中国家提供一种工业废水中重金属回收、茶废物循环利用,进而去除水中重金属离子的绿色技术。

面临财务困难的银行可能在不同的国家有运营、子公司和分支机构。由于经济衰退,银行可能面临财务压力,可能导致部分业务暂停,从而导致资不抵债和破产。重要的是要考虑外国银行的资不抵债是否会对其位于不同州、地区或司法管辖区的分支机构或子公司产生影响。目前,在国际一级,没有适用的文书或条例规定了银行跨国界破产问题的解决办法。《贸易法委员会跨境破产示范法》和《欧洲破产条例》都没有关于解决信贷机构跨境破产问题的任何条款。虽然欧盟已经通过了一些专门的规则来规范信贷机构,如《信贷机构重组与清盘指令》,但这并不能简单地适用于世界其他地区,因为它只适用于欧盟成员国。就卢旺达而言,目前没有关于金融机构破产的具体法律,因此可以认为,与信贷机构特别是银行跨国界破产有关的所有事项都由《2021年破产法》管理,而不考虑管理这些机构的特别规则。显然,贸易法委员会跨国界破产示范法启发了卢旺达跨国界破产领域的破产法。但是,卢旺达的破产法没有具体处理与银行有关的破产问题,也没有具体说明《贸易法委员会跨国界破产示范法》第2条规定的保留意见。卢旺达银行法律规定,外国银行或外国公司的子公司在卢旺达共和国必须保持账户分开父母的银行或母公司,但这项法律也对此事保持沉默对外国银行或其分支机构的破产。鉴于卢旺达银行业的发展,至关重要的是要建立一个具体制度来管制银行的跨国界破产。这项研究突出表明,需要建立具体的法律制度来解决卢旺达银行的跨国界破产问题。

Present-day advanced technologies heavily rely on the exciting magnetic and spectroscopic properties of lanthanide ions. In particular, their ability to generate well-characterized and intense near-infrared (NIR) luminescence is exploited in any modern fiber-optic telecommunication network. In this feature article, we first summarize the whereabouts underlying the design of highly luminescent NIR molecular edifices and materials. We then focus on describing the main trends in three applications related to this spectral range: telecommunications, biosciences, and solar energy conversion. In telecommunications, efforts concentrate presently on getting easily processable polymer-based waveguide amplifiers. Upconversion nanophosphors emitting in the visible after NIR excitation are now ubiquitous in many bioanalyses while their application to bio-imaging is still in its early stages; however, highly sensitive NIR-NIR systems start to be at hand for both in vitro and in vivo imaging, as well as dual probes combining magnetic resonance and optical imaging. Finally, both silicon-based and dye-sensitized solar cells benefit from the downconversion and upconversion capabilities of lanthanide ions to harvest UV and NIR solar light and to boost the overall quantum efficiency of these next-generation devices.
